THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE ADVICE. I STARTED ON FENUGREEK A WEEK AGO BUT I HAVEN'T NOTICED A DIFFERENCE IN MY MILK SUPPLY, ANY IDEA HOW LONG IT TAKES BEFORE IT STARTS WORKING ? YOUR LITTLE GIRL IS GORGEOUS, SHE KIND OF LOOKS A LITTLE LIKE MY ZOYA. I LOVE THE PHOTO OF HER SMILING. I totally agree with you with not adding cereal to your babies bottles until she is old enough. I have had some people ask me the same thing and or tell me to start. They just need to get over it...I am not adding it to my son's formula until he is old enough and is ready for it. Some people have a lot of nerve.

I got really bloated when I took the fenugreek. IT did increase supply, but then my son was choking because he couldn't keep up. I know other women have had more success.

I took FG for my low supply. I think I took two moring and evening, and went through 3-4 bottles. I don't know if it helped so much. I wish there was something out there to help with that. I tried hydrating, oatmeal, FG, and I think it all came down to Supply and Demand. Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear.

My SIL gave me fenugreek because she swore it increased her milk production. I tried it for several weeks and I didn't see a diffrence and all i did was stress ALL the time about my milk! I finally got myself so crazy that I decided to stop everything, Stop pumping every hour, stop the fenugreek, stop the warm compression and just feed my baby (he was gaining weight very well anyhow and there was not legit reason for me freaking). Since I stoped everything...i've noticed my milk has increased! I think I was just stressing too much. Anyhow my SIL and a few other people I kow said it does help.

We're fine,Jack has a bit of a cold but other than that hes fine. The technician who did our EEG wouldn't tell us anything either,we've still got 2 weeks to wait till we get all of our results back,but we go on holiday this Sat for a week so im gonna try and relax!!! I was taking fenugreek, and it seemed to affect Hayleys poo! It was green! I cant say I noticed much difference in my milk, however I read that you need something like 1000mg (dont quote me on that) so I was taking 2 or 3 a day.... but yeah did not notice any major increase in milk. Just very green sickly sweet smelling poop!

I've been taking fenugreek for about 10 days now and haven't noticed much of a difference. I did it because I was having trouble pumping enough at work. He gets enough when I'm with him so I think I may just stop taking it.

I drink mother's milk tea and it has increased my milk it has fenugreek in it but a safe dose.. taking fenugreek capsules is not safe because of the high dose you have to take... fenugreek has nicotine and coumarin ( which acts like a blood thinner) .. mother's milk tea has such a low dose you wont have those crazy side effects that will cause baby to be cranky from intestinal issues.. give it a try it works!

Im nursing twins that are almost 5 months old. I work full time so I pump for them while IM at work. Ive always had enough milk but the last few weeks it started dimishing so I started taking the fenugreek. I take 2 capsules 3x a day and have noticed an increase again. I tried the mothers milk tea and couldnt drink it as it tasted awful! give the fenugreek a try. good luck

Hi .. i didn't use fenugreek but i did use blessed thistle & it was WONDERFUL. The blessed thistle is less harsh on babies belly. Sometimes the fenugreek can make a baby abit windy & unsettled.

I was advised to take fenugreek and blessed thistle to increase and stimulate my miilk supply. This was during the first few days. Not sure if it worked to make my milk come in. It could have come in on its own or because of herbs.... Anyhow, it is recommended by health professionals here in Canada.

I used fenugreek and it works really well to increase your milk. I take 3 casules 3 times a day. It makes you smell like maple syrup but it works great.

I drank mother's milk tea (has fenugreek) and that really helped up my supply. You can find it in the health food/organic isle at your local store.

I have a question about your c-section. I saw your comment on ragskusa24's page about you ripping your lower ab muscles. How do you know you did that? Did the doctor check you again? HOw does it feel? Did you need surgery again? I guess I'm trying to figure out between what is normal pain and what is pain that I should be concerned about. I had a c-section on the 30th of June and yesterday I noticed that when I try to lay on my left side sometimes I feel like this burning sensation inside and also like a bruise and the lower right hurts when I have to pass a bowl movement. Is this normal?
