If she is a hard-core christion, she might appreciate a nice leather bible carrier, you know whta I talking about? And put an envelope inside with a gift certificate.... My mom loves her bible cases, lol, she totes it to so many of her friends places and church and bible study, it would be in terrible shape if she didn't use one... She even takes it with her when she hikes the appalachian trail. She is in Sweden right now white water rafting and hiking on an adventure package, I wonder if she's worried about dropping it in the river? Hmmm, if they sell water-proof ones I might have to get her one for christmas this year!

hey i read your post about a gift for your sitter...are her kids young enough that you could watch them and send them to dinner w/ a gift card? You could also make a mini scrapbook of your baby and give her that with some sort of gift cert, like for a spa day or something (even if it costs like 200$ you'd be spending way less than if the baby was in daycare for 5wks).

Hi, thanks for the great advice, Sometimes I probably dont eat as much as i should, so i have to be more aware of that. the doc said sometimes they grow in length, then gain weight, so hopefully that is the case. he grew 3 1/2 inches, which is good, so i'll see...

def spa/mani/pedi!

brandi0881 - Tuesday, 5 August
I would do a certificate for a massage or mani and pedi. Something like that. That always makes a good gift!

azmommytobe - Tuesday, 5 August
I would do a spa/message gift card and also a nice restaurant gift card. I guess what I would do is calculate how much money she saved you and go in that sort of range.
Or you can send her on vacation...to me!!!! lol

Get her a gift card to like walmart or target whatever is in your area.. that way she cant say no and then she can use it on whatever food, cloth, gas... and then there isnt that embrassing moment on how much you got her... good or bad... or what she was "thinking" she might deserve without saying it .. you know what I mean.. gift cards are so easy!!!

As long as it is something she can use im sure she will like it. gift baskets are great but so are gift cards because she can use them towaards her family. When asked what i wanted for my shower i was given the choice of things from my registry or a trip to the spa i chose the registry because it was stuff i needed.

How about a grocery gift card? Then she can take her grocery money and spend it wherever she needs it. But everyone needs groceries!

karenc - Tuesday, 5 August
a gas card is a really good idea. that with maybe a small basket from bath & body would be really nice!

Maybe a gift certificate for a mani/pedi?? Or some smellgoods from Bath and Body Works? If she has teenagers she needs to relax as much as we do. LOL Good luck and BOY are you a lucky lady!

BabyBennett - Tuesday, 5 August
I'd say a gift certificate for a massage or other type of spa service. :)
