Went to a class today called "Care In Pregnancy" its all about how to prevent pain and things like that .. shudda gone weeks ago really because all the women there were only 20weeks max :S Opps!! Although most of the things said you already knwo just out of common sence and reading up on pregnancy every chance u get .. there are sme pointers that you pick up that are really useful so if your thinking about going to one I would say go for it. Got me the morning off work too so thats a plus :P

28th June 2007

Im now almost 29 weeks and getting so excited. I had my birthday 2 weeks ago and friends couldn't help buying the baby stuff aswell as me, but I don't mind! Im getting real big now also, I went away to Wales over the weekend with my parents- they thought they would treat me to a break) - was just one of those holidays where u stay in one of thoses huge caravans that are bigger than my flat lol. Was great to get way but even in the 3/4 days of not seeing my boyfriend I had grown loads.. I came back and he was so supriced.

Having a big problem sleeping atm, just trying to get comfortable now I'm getting bigger and getting to works taking longer my 45min walk a day is now taking well over an hour, was thinking of taking my maternity leave earlier but I know that the later I take it the more time I get to spend with my lil one before I have to go back to work!

I start my preparation for birth classes next week, that should be interesting and I have now started to get my bag together for the hospital .. seems a bit early but moneys a bit tight at the min so im having to buy little amounts at a time such as 24 SUPER ABSOBANT SANITARY TOWELS lol .. scary to think I havent had a period for like 7 months and now ive gotta start buying super absorbant .. and reccomended in my book I take 24!!! 24 TOWELS for one visit :S - scary!

I can't wait till my lil Kellis is born ..MWAH xx

Went 2 my first of four Ante-natal -preparation for birth- classes! Was worth going too .. and its amazing how many people are due in September!! Some of it was just random talk about pregnancy and things that we should have already experienced but we did talk about the three stages of labour and how to tell the difference between when we are actually going into labour and just effects of being heavily pregnant. Didnt no that your not actaully menna rush to hospital as soon as you get contractions your menna wait utill your contractions are every 5 mins ... I DONT THINK SO .. if i think im in labour im not waiting around for nothing!! :p ..

Scary to think how soon it all is tho :S .. cant wait to hold my lil girl for the first time! :)

Wednesday 11th July

I had another midwife appointment this morning, didnt really do much appart from had to take another blood sample to update something and make sure I wasnt Amenic. When Ann (my midwife) felt around for the baby she said that she was still in the Breach position. It shouldn't be a problem becuase I'm only 30 weeks so as long as she's turned by 36 weeks she should be fine.

I had another ante-natal class in the afternoon and I decided to ask them about what happens if baby is still breach at 36 weeks. It was scary because out of the 15 women in the room me and one other were the only ones still Breach! Not to worry though cuz my little girls growing well and I got another appointment in 3 weeks so she mite have turned by then :)!!

Thursday 2nd August

Omg! cant believe its August already!!! Went to see my Mid-Wife 2day for my 33 week check-up. My lil girl has finally decided to turn and apparently she has dropped aswell. "2/3 down" whatever that means!! Everythings going quicker than I thoguht it would. MY flat has finally been built so have finally been able to move in on the weekend. It bradn new so everything new and clean for when I get to take baby home.

Scary to think that I only have this month left at work and then I will be on maternity sat at home counting the 3 weeks down to when my baby will be due!! Im so excited -everythings set now just gotta wait!

Tuesday 21st August

Had a bit of a scare last night when I noticed this pink stuff when I went to the loo. Rang my midwife and she said it was known as the "show". She said it could mean that I was going to go into labour soon or it could just be that because my baby is engaged 1/5 ,which means shes very low, that she may have just moved down slightly which caused me too loose some of the mucas plug. Anyway I didnt have other signs that night so im guessing it was just little Kellis moving aroung too much :P was over scary tho. Cedric had gone into some meeting with a new company he was starting work with and could have his phone on so im soo glad nothing had happened.

But my baby is fine and shes due now in 4 weeks .. Im off on maternity at the end of this month and I cant wait!!!

Friday 24th August

Had a suprice small baby shower last night, I got home from work at 5:30 and 4 of my closest mates were sat by my front door - they just said that they felt like coming over for a bit. I let them in and then they gave me this HUGE box of presents. Looads of stuff that they ahd all being buying from the day I told them I was pregant, this little one better be a girl now else im gonna have to dress him in pink :P! It was a good laugh and after all the presents we got a takeaway and just chilled out for the rest of the night. I got them all to write down when they thought I would give birth and what roughtly the weight would be. It was funny to see that nobody thought I would last the final 3 weeks! They all think I'l be about a week early. Hopefully she'll stay in for another week at least so that she is born and not classed as premature.

Only got next week left at work now and mondays a bank holiday, wednesday im only in 1/2 day because I have a midwife appointment in the morning so hopefully it will go really fast. I kept thinking if I took my leave any earlier I would just be sat at home bored but now I wish I would have taken it a few weeks early than I have - backs killing me :P!!!

Cant wait to see my little Kellis!!!

I'm so excited, went to see my midwife yesterday just for a routine chekup and my little princess is nice and healthy and growing well. A friend fom work gave me a little present today from Baby Gap becuase shes leaving for a new job and wont be around for the birth. Aww it's so cute and everytime I see any little girlie stuff I get even more excited.

But to all you mammas-to-be make sure you aint gettin too stressed. Read in the paper that its proven that if mommy gets stressed lil baby gets stressed! Thats rite men ... take care of your women!! :P!! I was thinking of taking a week off work and jus goin on a short holiday to chill out but me and my man gotta pay for our holiday in January. Going to see my princess' granma and grandad in New York and then off to Jamaica to see all the uncles and aunties from my man's side of the family. CANT WAIT.

4th June 2007

Had to let my work know what date I wanted to start my maternity leave today. I am leaving on August 27th .. 3 weeks before my expected due date!!! So only 12 weeks left of work -scary thought.

Got my pregnancy care class to go to 2morrow morning, kinda scared actually! Cedrics gonna be working through most of my classes so he won't be there and dnt want to feel out of place with all the couples. O well! My little girls on her way and I cant wait :D:D:D:D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
