Hi, I'm so excited! I'm desperate to have somone to talk to. So glad I found this site. I'm due somewhere between May 28 and June 4. Not so sure yet by dates it should be May but my HCG levels were only 147 so they guessed I was 3 weeks not 4. I just wish I felt pregnant, not that I want to feel sick, but it all just seems like a dream. I can't wait until I have proof- but I don't go back to the Dr. until Nov 2nd.

Yeah!!! I got to see my little lima bean on Friday. It's the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I just can't believe that little baby is living inside of me! The doc put me at 9w4d on Fri. so that changes my due date to June 2. I heard the heart rate at 168, I couldn't stop smiling. I just can't wait.. I felt so much better now that I've seen everything is o.k. The said I have a very small subchorionic bleed, but I've had no bleeding so I guess it will be o.k. Unfortunantly I woke up with a UTI ugh... they gave me some antibiotics, I hate taking any medication but I know it's the best thing to do (sorry baby bean). Hope everyone is doing well.

Sorry no updates in a while, for some reason my new Mac says "operation not supported" whenever I try to edit this part of my page. I'm still learning, but I love the Mac!!!
Anyway I went for a tummy check on the 30th, not much to say they checked my urine and the baby's heart rate, and asked me if I had any questions. Still waiting on my belly to grow, I currently just look pudgy, and I'm uncomfortable in my clothes but nobody would be able to tell I'm pregnant -at all. I know I'll regret this later but I'm ready for a little belly, it would be great if you could pick how big you are going to get and stop when you look adorable pregnant and never get to that oh my god I'm going to explode stage. I guess thats God's way of motivating you to push the baby out, if you weren't over it you'd have no positive motivation for going through the whole process of labor and delivery. Hope everyone is doing well. Lots of baby dust to my ttc friends!

Just wanted to wish everyone Happy Holidays!!
Big 20 week Ultrasound scheduled for January 18th... I can't wait!!!
I FINALLY felt the baby move over the weekend :) I'm so excited now! I can't wait to meet my little man. Now we are just trying to think of a name. Boy's names are so hard... we want something rare but not wierd.

O.K. now he won't stop squirming...I guess I asked for it. It's all good though, I can't wait for his birthday he's starting to take up more then his fair share of space :)

hello! hope you nd your baby are doing great! I am having lots of pain in my back and lots of pain low down in my abdomen.. I am hoping today is the day. I went to the hospital thursday night thinking i was in labor but they sent me home. I was 4 cm dilated and 60% effaced but didnt have any cervical change while i was there. I was really disapointed when they sent me home. anyway, hope you have a great weekend :)

First appointment went good. baby Alexander is healthy. He was a little jaundice when he was born but he's all better now. I got a few more pictures up. I can't wait till you have your little guy.

I hope it is friday or even sooner for you. It's so amazing. I'm not getting much sleep, but my body is already adjusting and I don't really mind. The pain isn't as bad as it was. I don't think I'll even need to take the pain pills much anymore. We'll see after today. Our first big outing is to go to the baby doctor in a few hours. Keep me posted on how things are going with you.

He's here!!! Just got home from the hospital toady. 5/13/2008 at 12:24 PM 7lbs, 6 oz. 20.5 inches long. We had a little scare with the NST right before surgery. He was in distress and they could tell by it that the fluid around him was really low. I'm glad he's here and healthy. Now i'm just sore and really really tired. Hopefully I'll be able to get some sleep tonight. He's a good sleeper. His name is Alexander Jianluca Salgado.

I am also ready to have this baby. my hubby and i are walking every day to see if we can get things going. I am having contractions and last night they got a little stronger, but today my back is killing me! we are going to walk on the beach and see if that works!

So I got up to use the bathroom and as I was using it, I felt this weird "Poping" feeling inside my vagina. It felt almost like caleb kicked me in the cervix but it didn't hurt. I tried pushing a bit to see if anything came out but nothing. So I got up and headed for bed. Right before getting in bed, I tried to push a bit again and I got a gush of fluid!! I reached down and it was all clear. I went to the bathroom again to get a towel (fluids dripping down my leg) and when I wiped, I had this snotty fluid stuff which was more of my plug. Now I'm sitting on a towel with my water just gusging out!!! I can't believe it! I woke my husband up and he is running around like crazy getting our stuff together, picking up the house and he is telling me to go in the bedroom and watch our lamaze video! hahahaha!! The doc said to come in to the center so hopefully in 24 hours, Caleb will be here!!!! Holy CRAP!!!

STILL no baby!!! Nathan has taken me out to the park 2 days in a row and has forced me to walk like crazy!! I get cramps while walking but nothing yet.....sigh! You aren't far behind me!!! Are you ready??

I am seeing the drs at complete womens care and delivering at VB general hospital on first colonial. I really like the dr I have been seeing. I am so happy that we could get back here in time to have our little boy! How are you feeling? how is your little miracle??

Hello!! Guess what! My hubbys job finally said we could come back to VB and we are back in VB!!! I am so happy that this baby will be born somewhere that I love so much! YAY!! I got set up with a dr and have seen them twice already and got registered at the hospital. I am SO ready to have this little guy!!

Hopefully I'll still be having him today. I just called the hospital to confirm and they told me a girl just showed up who might be in labor. So I might be bumped. I'm waiting for a call back to see if I can start heading to the hospital or not. I haven't had anything to eat or drink since last night and I'm going nuts!! I hope they call back soon, and with good news.

I shouldn't admit this after saying I was going to stay here until I can't see straight lol. The hospital is 45 minutes away! Now...we have many great hospitals that we will be passing though haha. My problem is that I am in false labor. BUT...what is scary is that my mom had the fastest labors. So...hopefully I will make it and not have to flag down one of your fellow fire fighters on the road!
I hope your NST goes well today! I am so glad that you are free to do what you want now. It's a great feeling isn't it?

I wish! Contractions keep getting worse and they are every four minutes for a full minute and then they fade. Constant cycle of false labor. I've decided I am not going to the hospital until I can't see straight. haha.

UUUGGGGGHHHHH!! NO! I went in today and I thought they were going to check me internally but they didn't. I was also going to ask them to do a membrane sweep but since they didn't check me, I didn't. I'm so bummed.

I really hope they don't change their mind about taking him next week. Low fluid is making it hurt sometimes when he moves. And he loves moving!! And the bedrest is driving me nuts. It's hard to keep me down. How's your little guy doing? Is he gaining weight?

My day was awful...but it is getting better! This morning I was violently throwing up again and contracting. I seriously thought I wasn't going to be strong enough to go through it again. After about five hours of constant vomitting...it was just bile and blood. Sorry that is gross, but it's true. I was miserable. I didn't think I was going to be able to make it to my appointment and needing to go to L&D. The whole office looks at me with such pity coming in throwing up. I always try to be so strong and positive. Today I just burst into tears while talking to the nurse. I was so sick and I just was breaking down. The doctor came in and burst into tears again. Then I pulled myself together. I had thrown up EVERYHING in me and nothing was left and I started to feel better. She asked if I wanted to go get an IV to get hydrated and I just wanted to try to do it on my own and not have to spend more time in the hospital.
Even with being stuck in bed, and being on the procardia there has been cervical change! I'm 80% effaced and there was more dilation! So really it could be anytime---but they didn't want to get my hopes up since I have been contracting so strongly and things have moved so slowly. She said if I didn't have the baby by early next week they would schedule me early in the week. We ended up just getting an appt next Wednesday. Today...they weren't going to stop labor, but they aren't going to do anything to advance it. Even though I am SO sick we all really want this baby to be full term. So that is that. I am feeling human again. I've been contracting since we left and am very uncomfortable, but am not throwing up now! Thank God! We'll have to see what happens....

I know I sometimes wonder how long 40 weeks really is. It feels like FOREVER. Then time will fly by when we have our little ones and they grow up "too fast." I am so pleased to hear that you babes is growing! When do you go back to the doctor?!
I am still sick:( It just comes and goes. We'll see what the doctor says today.
