Hi, I'm so excited! I'm desperate to have somone to talk to. So glad I found this site. I'm due somewhere between May 28 and June 4. Not so sure yet by dates it should be May but my HCG levels were only 147 so they guessed I was 3 weeks not 4. I just wish I felt pregnant, not that I want to feel sick, but it all just seems like a dream. I can't wait until I have proof- but I don't go back to the Dr. until Nov 2nd.

Yeah!!! I got to see my little lima bean on Friday. It's the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I just can't believe that little baby is living inside of me! The doc put me at 9w4d on Fri. so that changes my due date to June 2. I heard the heart rate at 168, I couldn't stop smiling. I just can't wait.. I felt so much better now that I've seen everything is o.k. The said I have a very small subchorionic bleed, but I've had no bleeding so I guess it will be o.k. Unfortunantly I woke up with a UTI ugh... they gave me some antibiotics, I hate taking any medication but I know it's the best thing to do (sorry baby bean). Hope everyone is doing well.

Sorry no updates in a while, for some reason my new Mac says "operation not supported" whenever I try to edit this part of my page. I'm still learning, but I love the Mac!!!

Anyway I went for a tummy check on the 30th, not much to say they checked my urine and the baby's heart rate, and asked me if I had any questions. Still waiting on my belly to grow, I currently just look pudgy, and I'm uncomfortable in my clothes but nobody would be able to tell I'm pregnant -at all. I know I'll regret this later but I'm ready for a little belly, it would be great if you could pick how big you are going to get and stop when you look adorable pregnant and never get to that oh my god I'm going to explode stage. I guess thats God's way of motivating you to push the baby out, if you weren't over it you'd have no positive motivation for going through the whole process of labor and delivery. Hope everyone is doing well. Lots of baby dust to my ttc friends!

Big 20 week Ultrasound scheduled for January 18th... I can't wait!!!

I FINALLY felt the baby move over the weekend :) I'm so excited now! I can't wait to meet my little man. Now we are just trying to think of a name. Boy's names are so hard... we want something rare but not wierd.

O.K. now he won't stop squirming...I guess I asked for it. It's all good though, I can't wait for his birthday he's starting to take up more then his fair share of space :)

3D U/S scheduled for 03/26/08 I'll post some pictures if I can.

Have you made a list of your ideas on the boys names? I agree they are so hard to pick out. After we thought we picked a not-so-common but easily pronounced name, I went to a parenting class that had it ranked in the top ten in the state. And when I went to look at day cares I saw a couple babies with the same name. Then I found out that one of the people at work named her son the same thing (differet spelling). We decided not to change though. It just fit. I don't know if they baby is a boy or girl. The girl's name is very rare, so we should have no problem there.
BTW, I'm a super huge Chicago Bears fan and can hardly waiting to pick up a Bears onesie for the baby :)

Oh wow!! It sounds like you are having a hard time. You and Mommyjewels are having contractions and wnt them to stop and I wish I had SOME sign of labor! I know it must be scary and I undersatnd that you want him to stay in as long as possible.

My sister was only 5.5 pounds at birth. She was a very tiny baby but then again, my mom was very tiny as well. From your picture, you look to be small framed so maybe it's not all that bad that your baby is on the small side. Remember, the information they give us about what a baby "should" weigh right about now is only an average. It doesn't mean somethign is wrong if he is small. And on the plus side....would you rather deliver a 9 pound baby or a 6 pound baby!! hahahaa! I think Caleb is going to be more of a 9 pound baby and that scares the heck out of me.

Sorry to hear about the U/S. It was the same with Caleb. He was sleeping on my placenta so we only got a pic of the side of his face and the more I tried to roll him over, the more he burried himslef further into the placenta and showed less of his face. What a bummer.....

I will keep you in my thoughts and I will pray your baby gets nice and fat for you!! :-) Stay positive! I'm sure it will all be just fine and before you know it, you will be holding your healthy, plump little baby boy!!!

I think I had become obsessed with finding the "perfect" name.. I was looking online, I was taking suggestions from friends & family ( and people I dont even know!) I was asking anyone I saw with a baby boy to see if I could steal their name. HA (its funny cuz its true!!) Then one night my hubby and I were not even thinking about names, and all of the sudden my hubby said "what about Nathan" and I LOVED it. It just fit. So I understand the frustration. Dont worry, you will find the perfect name. and just in case you dont, you can use my backup name: BR549. HA. How are you feeling? How are you doing with bedrest?? How is your little baby doing? any updates?

He is doing ok. He is still inside me which is great:) lol. I am cramping and having a lot of contractions, but haven't needed to take the terb yet today.

I go this Friday for an internal exam so I'm hoping that she says I'm working on going into labor! I'm getting so excited!! Caleb is starting to slow down his movements now (which is normal because he is running out of room) but his movements seem more exagerated than before. Instead of a kick, I get a roll and I can feel his body moving against mine. It's so weird and cool at the same time!! I'm also hoping to find out how big he is now. I know on 3/08/08 he was 4.4 pounds so....almost 2 months later maybe 7 pounds??!! I reall wnat to know what I'm getting into!!

I've started with my lamaze videos. I haven't packed a bag yet but hopefully I will soon. What about you? All packed? You never did mention how the Ultrasound went? I hope it was good! I was disapointed the 2nd time I went because the lady wasn'st as cool as the first one and Caleb was NOT into having his picture taken. We have a nice shot of his ear! Hahaha! I hope you and Baby are doing good!!

Well good. I know I did some research on U/S. I had heard that it can be a pound off give or take. More research that I did said that with all the measurments on an U/S especially with a level 2 U/S may only be off 1/2 a pound. So that is good.

I am just so glad that you got good news today. That is really nice. I have been thinking of you a lot.

Just think that no matter what happens..we are near the end of this journey after all these months:)

This is all great news. I know it doesn't calm all your fears...but what great progress:) I'm glad that he gained weight! What is he at right now? When do you have your next NST?

How cute that you got to see him practice breathing:) I'm glad that you have these U/S and can see him. That helps to be able to actually SEE that he is doing well. I have very happy for you and I hope that you are able to work a little bit and get yourself out of the house and around people even though you are taking it easy.

I'll keep thinking and praying for you.

Hi, my baby weighed 3 pounds when born, now 6 weeks later he's weighing in at 6 pounds, so he's growing quickly. The time he was in NICU was very trying, but they were taking very good care of him and it gave me a chance to rest and heal.
All the best for the rest of the pregnancy. Your baby will do fine!

Hey-

Well Ocean's Twelve is a good movie. :) I hope you like it. We "watched" About a Boy. More like, I listened to it tonight.

I think it is good that your hubby got out. We have season tickets to many sporting events and even though my husband never wanted to leave me...I told him to go to all the games he could. It was so hard on him working and then coming home to take care of me and everything else. But, I know it's also hard when they leave and you have been alone at home because you couldnt' do anything. It's tough.

Before we know it, we will be chasing around our little dudes and we will be exhausted:)

I really hope that you have some relief from the contractions the rest of this weekend.:)

Doctor sent me to L&D. Contractions every 6 minutes. Dilated 1cm. Put me on terb to stop the contractions. Back home on bed rest AGAIN. Glad to be home and glad they stopped labor!

Why can't we just have things calm down???

Hey you!

I understand how you feel. I found myself many times resentful with everyone being so active. I felt so sorry for myself being home 95% of the pregnancy while everyone was out living their life. Then I was reminded that I'm growing a human! To tell the you truth, it's a miracle that I have managed to gain weight. If I hadn't been through my cancer I wouldn't have a clue in the world how to force yourself to stay alive and not starve. The lessons I learned there helped me out a lot...that and when I had the feeding tube baby and I got the nutrients that we needed. Somehow I managed to gain A LOT of weight. I dunno. But yes---I have a lot of acid burns. My tongue has even been stripped raw. My pretty white teeth are not so white. It's not pretty...but it could have been worse I suppose.

We each have out "things" in life. I guess sometimes we jsut have to realize that the grass is never greener on the other side. I look at these ladies who have lost their babies at 20-30 weeks and couldn't imagine what they are going through. I guess we jsut have to have faith that things will work out.

I am really glad that both of our contractions aren't changing anything! I almost went back to L&D last night with too many contractions. I just wish that we both had some boring normal days to come. I don't do well with drama. It's just draining to always be on edge and to have all this going on....but we will get through it---I knwo that.

I have been praying for your little one. He is a strong little baby and he will listen to his Mommy and gain some weight.

I'm sorry that you will miss the gymnasts competition today. I get so mad when I miss things. One of my very close friends is having her bridal shower and bachlorette party tonight and I have to miss it. It makes me so angry...but then I realize that she will forgive me and she knows that I need to keep this baby safe.

Try to fill your day today with something fun. Keep your head up!

Oh I am sorry that you had to go back. I know that terb is not a fun medication. I wish that our bodies would calm down a bit with the contracting!!! I am glad that he is kicking around and there. He is probably knocking on you letting you know he is ok in there. I hope that he gets fat. It's so funny to say that you want someone to get fat...but I sure do. He needs to listen to you and be a good boy!

I really hope that you are having a better day today with less contractions. I have been thinking about you so much. I know this is hard, but you are such a strong person and you will get through this and your little boy will be everything that you ever imagined and more.

Hopefully he will take his time and you can enjoy a much deserved shower. Where are you having your shower at?

My appointment went ok. I was throwing up outside in the driveway...but not since then! The doctor was impressed that I wasn't throwing up in the room:)

I'm measuring at 33 weeks...a tad small, but I'm still growing and the development is happening. The baby was 4.5 pounds Wednesday so he is still right on. I found out that I am having a lot more contractions than I previously thought. Today I'm told to lay down in bed and stay hydrated and if they don't improve go back to be monitored. My cervix hasn't changed through all this which they are so thrilled about--but obviously that can change at anytime...so I stay on bed rest and then go back next Friday to see if I'm dialted.

I was just reading about the IUGR. There is alot of info on it online. Have you read it?? there are some good tips on how to handle it and maybe some things that could help. Dont beat yourself up, It is not your fault for wishing he was smaller. So they did an u/s on you and found that he was smaller than expected? how much was he weighing? Keep your chin up :)

Oh my goodness! Im sure you are just so scared! Im not sure what that IUGI is, so I will look it up in a few minutes. All I can say is try to relax and not worry. ( i know, thats impossible) They always say stress is the worse things for these little guys. Please please keep me posted on how you are doing..and if you need a friend to talk to, I will be happy to give you my phone number. I go today for an u/s to see how big my little man is. I will let you know how it goes. I always get so nervous before these u/s, for some reason. Im sending you a hug and I will keep you and your baby in my thoughts.
