I am a 34 yr old mom of 5 children. We have 4 boys ages 8, 11, 12, and 15 and a little girl who was born in December. I am engaged to wonderful man that I have been with for almost 5 years. We are now planning on trying to have one more child. I love having children and the bonus is I get to stay home and raise them. I do home daycare so that I can still earn a living while raising my children.

She is adorable, i love how you are updating ur site like a diary, i'm expecting any day now and am a bit nervous how we'll handle the lack of sleep and the life changing event...being our first baby!
I'm sick of being pregnant and am soooo anxious to meet this lil guy but at the same time i'm cherishing hubby and i's last moments alone...doing wot we want when we want, at the spare of the moments kind of thing, haha.

Many stores sell little secure sleepers that you can put the baby in so that she can sleep in the bed with you. Its just such a hard habit to break. I am so nervous! I am meeting with my boss tomorrow to discuss the possiblity of working from home. Daycare is outrageous and plus I want to continue breastfeeding exclusively. I dont want to have to use any bottles.

I took our portable one upstairs earlier today, and he already took a good nap in it up there! he likes it better too, and plus it vibrates and that helps him to fall asleep :) I am hoping that I can sleep a few hours tonight, It would be so nice. Your daughter is adorable, I love the full head of blonde hair. It looks so cute, I am used to seeing blonde babies just bald at first :) Good luck on sleeping

I feel ya with the not sleeping! I am looking forward to tonight to see if my son will sleep better in the pack in play instead of the crib, that he hates :) good luck with getting some sleep :)

A few times Sophia went 3 hours in between feeds at night. I feel spoiled when I get that extra hour. All worth it though...I love spending time with her...even if I feel like a zombie due to lack of sleep!

No I haven't heard who is doing it or when it will be. I should know by 5 today though. They asked if I want a certain dr to do it and I said I didn't care. I just requested to have it done as soon as possible. I do know Booth is on call this weekend so I don't think it would be her.

I just got back from the dr and my son has turned breech so I have to schedule a c section with the hospital for next week. I'm dilated to a 2 and thinned out so this really stinks.

I was just wondering how you made out with the injections. I had my son at 32 weeks and was taking the shots weekly during my current pregnancy. But, after 5 weeks of injections I developed a local allergic reaction. Dr's were worried next time the reaction could be worse so they stopped the shots for now. I am 25 weeks and they are now seeing me every 2 weeks and monitoring my cervical length. So far everything is good.

I read your comment.No I have never had that happen to me but I am in the medical field and I would strongly suggest that you call your OBGYN because it may be a uterine prolapse.I would also avoid having sex or putting anything into your vagina until you notify your physican.I hope this helps.

I had the same problem with the sweats right after I had my daughter. I'd go to bed shivering at night but wake up covered in sweat, dying of heat only to be shivering again minutes later. It was all from my hormones leveling back out. It lasted about two weeks.
