I am a 34 yr old mom of 5 children. We have 4 boys ages 8, 11, 12, and 15 and a little girl who was born in December. I am engaged to wonderful man that I have been with for almost 5 years. We are now planning on trying to have one more child. I love having children and the bonus is I get to stay home and raise them. I do home daycare so that I can still earn a living while raising my children.

lol I love chocolate sundaes too... But Lawton really isn't all that bad... I used to think it was the most awful place in the world after moving from Germany, but then I set foot in other towns and actually missed this place. So, did he like the Marines?

amy, So far the symptoms from the progesterone shots don't seem to be letting up for me. The real slap in the face is that I am already at a 2 and I'm only 17 1/2 weeks. SCARY!!! Any way as far as homeschooling...there's really not much to it. iuse a program and just help the kids with thier assignments. One of my nine year olds has some serious learning problems. She has epilepsy and suffers from 4 different kids of seizures. She too has been diagnosed with ADHD and she has a whole bunch of other letters behind he name. That is one of my #1 reson for continuing to home school. I just wouldn't want her labled 'LD'. She is VERY smart but just needs a little extra help. Well good luck to you and you're baby. Congrats! Your doctor was able to see the sex of your baby at 18 weeks, wow! I'm 20 weeks and my husband and I will find out today; hopefully of course.

Congrats on the baby GIRL you hoped for! I have always heard that sweet cravings mean 'it' will be a girl and sour/salty cravings mean 'it' will be a boy. Maybe thats an old wives tale but I am having a boy and I am constantly craving salty stuff! Maybe there is a little bit of truth to it and that explains your sugar cravings? Little girls are supposed to be 'sugar and spice and everything nice' anyway. :)

Oh yes, pinch yourself! You're having a girl. I had two boys first, then I had four girls in a row. When my first daughter, Karen, was born, I kept saying 'it's a girl? Really? Look again!' until they totally unwrapped her and showed me her girlie parts! LOL! I was driving them crazy! Pink things are SO much fun to shop for!

the reason the doctor has recommendated for me to have it done cuz of my age - nothing in my blood work or family history is a factor - he asked me if i wanted to get it done but after reading about it - its scary - one of my co-workers just had her baby at 35 years old & she got the triple blood test done first & she said if it would come out positive then she would of done it but i don't understand why my doctor didn't mention this first

Wow, glad that they have been able to help slow down those contractions. Know what them feel like. I too have been doing daycare. My two are one yrs each. With my two boys added to the group. I sure never know when I am going to get a nap in. I have to just lay them down all at once and hope for the best. For the most part. They play in there playpen while its naptime. Get as much rest as possible. Take care. Keep you posted on my US too.

Hello, How are you doing? How was your last apt. on the 31st. Everything going well even though you was having BH. I have a virus this week. Got it couple days now and I dont feel to well. School started on the 8th so kids arent home. Miss them about right now. When I want to lay in bed. Also so busy with keeping them on there homework. How is the rest of your kids are they excited about the baby. Did you say what the babys gender was. I sure have a bad memory. Anyway just trying to keep in touch with you all. No they don't know anything yet. I just got off the phone with the doc's office and they wanted me to wait until Aug. 30th to come in. So I told them that I need to get in earlier. so they are having me come in next fri. I just wish I could find out sooner than that.
