Your daughter is absoulely beautiful and I am ready for this belly to shrink. As of Thursday, my cervix has not began to ripen/effacate therefore I am not dialating. Plus, my amniotic fluid dropped substanially between Monday and Thursday appts. My doctor said I am still within a safe range but he also decided that I will check into the hospital Sunday night and they will give me a suppository to start the rippening and then my doctor will arrive on Monday so they can start induction unless I go into labor on my own after receiving the suppositories. At this point, I am ready to meet my son and I trust my doctor knows best.

wow how beautiful she is! How exciting to finally have her!! Must feel so surreal after carrying her for 9 months. I haven't had any changes. Can't wait till my boy is born but it feels like forever. I hope he isn't late, I've got a week and a half to go. Congratulations and hope to hear what it's like finally having a baby.

Yes I get those vibrations too, they are a bit wierd and they actually make me laugh a bit sometimes as it feels so wierd, but it appears its normal.

hey im from northern ireland and i havent had an internal and i dont think i get 1 unless i go pass my due date and thats to maybe help me on! its kinda annoying when your reading everyone thats knows lol but then again it doesnt mean there gona go early so maybe were better not knowing! good luck with the rest of your pregnancy xx

I don't know either, My Dr. has not done an internal exam and by the looks of things he doesn't plan to. I see him every Tues and will be asking him about it next visit!

Try not to worry so much, if you can. It will all be okay! I was worried all the time when I was pregnant too (I delivered at 33wks), but when you catch yourself worrying, try to think about the baby in there and think positively - they pick up on your emotions! All I can say is that everything happened very quickly w/me and w/most women, the whole process is probably over w/in 24 hrs and your sweet little baby will be here. So while I know it's worrisome, it will all happen w/in the blink of an eye. Hang in there, you are almost to the finish line.

Thanks for your input on the name Blake. I had no issues with it originally but I've found that almost everyone knows a Blake they didn't like! I'm now thinking that we should explore options but this is my fiance's first baby and I really want him to get alot of input. :( I'm also a fan of different names so Blake seems plain to me. Fiance is traditional generally. *sigh*

I am glad that I am not alone. I have gained plenty of weight-but man it feels like she is taking up my whole belly!! I dont think I had any sleep last night and today I am more sore that yday...only a few more weeks!!

FOR BABY - Welcome Home Outfits (2) – large and small - Mittens and Booties and Cap - Butt Wipes, Diapers, Diaper Pins, Diaper Covers (because I’m using cloth) Receiving Blanket - Car Seat - I live in a tropical climate so there’s no cold weather gear included

FOR YOUR PARTNER - Two outfits - Swim clothes – Sheets – Breathe Mints/Mouth Wash, Toiletries, etc. - Digital Camera (Extra Battery)

FOR YOU!!!!

CLOTHES- Socks (3 pair) - Underwear (5) - Nursing Bras (2) - Night Gowns (3) - Bathrobe and Slippers - Loose fitting outfit for going home

COMFORT - Nursing Pillow - Sleeping Mask - Pillows (2) - Sleeping Mask

HYGIENE - Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Shampoo, Body Soap - Breast Pads, Breast Cream – if you plan to breastfeed - Sanitary Napkins/Depends
