Check out the website that my husband has designed for us to share the latest updates with our family and friends: www.adt-gbe.com

This is our first baby...And we are waiting until the baby is born to find out what we are having. I think we get so few true surprises in life now a days that it will be worth the wait to meet our little boy or girl.

My husband and I go for the 12 week ultrasound (I will be 11w 5d) tomorrow. I am soo excited. This will be his first time seeing and hearing our baby! I am ready to make it to the 12 week land mark and begin preparing for our little one.

May 14 (18 weeks 5 days): Next Wednesday my husband and I go in for our 20 week ultrasound. I am getting so excited. I am sure this week will go really slowly. We have decided not to find out what we are having. I figure we really don't get many true surprises in life now a days. Plus, by not knowing, we will have something to really look forward to while I am in labor. All I want to hear the tech say is that they baby looks good and everything is normal.

June 20 (24 weeks): Hard to believe that I have less time remaining in this pregnancy then the amount of weeks that I have completed. I am just so ready to hold our little bundle of joy. We start taking prenatal classes next week. Everything is really going well so far. I am one of the lucky ones who has had an uneventful pregnancy so far. I hope it stays that way.

How`s my pregnancy doing?

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

Hey girl! Haven't seen you on here in a while! How have you been? I can't believe we are almost there!!! SOO exciting! There isn't any reason any Dr should be talking about induction now, unless you have a complication like preeclampsia or something. So, don't worry about any of that stuff! I am trying to do unmedicated too, and getting a little nervous about it- but mostly just excited. I know I can do it. And so can you :)
I am going to get acupuncture though- it can help your labor start sooner and also help the pain. I have heard it works awesome from many women- you might want to check out if there is somewhere in your area where they do that? Anyway I just wanted to say hi! And good luck I hope you get the new job and that your baby comes soon and all goes perfectly!! xoxo :)

I'm from wk 21 and was just peeking at other weeks and recent posts. I noticed you are a study coordinator. I do some research for a Electrophysiologist on defibrulators and pacemakers. I thought it was neat to see someone else in research, it's not that common of a job. Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well.

Beaumont is getting back to normal thank goodness. I went to the hospital today after talking to the only obgyn on call they ran a few tests and said they expect me to have the baby by the end of the week. My doctor is suppose to be back in town now but he has no idea when he will open is office or see patients. crazy crazy I'll probably end up delivering at a different hospital then the one I picked but hopefully with the doctor I picked regardless to say if I get prego again Im asking for another contact number for him or going to start a fund for him to get a 1-800 contact number

the last i heard from my doctor they called to cancel my ultrasound last thursday. I was able to get ahold of the doctor that switches out with my doctor but she wasnt much help she just told me to watch my blood presure not sure how I can do that. I wake up in the middle of the night breathing really heavy like ive been running marathons I think its panic attacks but I could be wrong. my hospital is suppose to be open monday and if I cant get into see my doctor by then Im going to march my rear into the hospital and tell them to check me out hes not moving around as much which i know is normal but im afraid that he is breech. everyone keeps telling me that if he is breech that I want go into labor (including the dr i spoke with) this scares me even more she didnt mention and i didnt think to ask if that could harm my lil man thank the lord I have my lights back though I was vacuuming till midnight last night and cleaning as much as I could now if they will just give me the ok on washing clothes and dishes with my dish washer because hand washing is really getting on my nerves. my fingers are crossed till monday.

Ok ignore me i just read on on the page and realised that a couple of people have explained what it might be, well at least its not abnormal, lol.

heya just read your post me and armymom were talking about this yesterday, we were getting like sharp pinching like little spasms only lasting a second or so and getting a few in a row, armymom described it as someone jabbing her with a needle, it wasnt really painful more uncomfortable, is that what you are getting because if it is you are not alone but we dont have a bloody clue what it is,lol, if its not just me then it might be normal, lol.

oh so you take one like almost every night?

TPandBaby - Friday, 12 September
I have done some research cuz I feel the same way.. sooo what the lil one out already. I found some natural ways to help speed it along and aid dilation: Walk (a lot), have some raspberry tea (caffeine free), have some pineapple or pineapple juice (all natural), each time u need to bathe try a hot bath, relax with slow deep breathing. there are other things out there, but i'd say these are the most natural and safe. In moderation, no use in to over due it. Nothing is 100% full proof, but I know for myself i wanna try something, ya know. Good luck with everything!

hai chick i know exactly how u feel im 34 weeks on saturday with twin girls i just want to cuddle them. with my first daughter i drank caster oil and it worked straight away how ever my midwife wasnt happy apparently its linked to still births so please dont do it no matter what people say!
iv also been told rasberry leaf tea, hot curry and sex works.
if you find anything else let me know please!

TOTALLY NORMAL! It's not you...it's the mental block of the baby being that close to his goods...My hubby opened up and talked about this with me when I started to get offended.

Lindie - Friday, 22 August
Oh man! I saw your post on week 33 about your hubby not being interested in sex...Let me tell ya, I am in the same boat :( He used to think pregnant women were sexy, until the minute we found out I was pregnant! Now, nothing! He also says it's wierd and it's like he views me differently now. I don't know what to do, but waiting another 6 months for passionate sex is going to be a major drag! :( Hope it gets better for you as soon as the baby is there!

jojo21 - Friday, 22 August
Just read ur comment and I COMPLETLY understand.. My fiance and I have had sex 3 times in 3 months! I am sooooo frustrated. He says he just cant stop thinking about the baby and it puts him off, whereas I just keep thinking its because im not attractive anymore.. I am praying our sex life will return to normal after baby is here.. Us women still have needs!!lol

happy2bpregnant - Wednesday, 20 August
I have tried to talk to my dr. about my birthing plan and he says we still have enough time to talk about that and I dont think we do. It is really starting to annoy me.
