Check out the website that my husband has designed for us to share the latest updates with our family and friends: www.adt-gbe.com

This is our first baby...And we are waiting until the baby is born to find out what we are having. I think we get so few true surprises in life now a days that it will be worth the wait to meet our little boy or girl.

My husband and I go for the 12 week ultrasound (I will be 11w 5d) tomorrow. I am soo excited. This will be his first time seeing and hearing our baby! I am ready to make it to the 12 week land mark and begin preparing for our little one.

May 14 (18 weeks 5 days): Next Wednesday my husband and I go in for our 20 week ultrasound. I am getting so excited. I am sure this week will go really slowly. We have decided not to find out what we are having. I figure we really don't get many true surprises in life now a days. Plus, by not knowing, we will have something to really look forward to while I am in labor. All I want to hear the tech say is that they baby looks good and everything is normal.

June 20 (24 weeks): Hard to believe that I have less time remaining in this pregnancy then the amount of weeks that I have completed. I am just so ready to hold our little bundle of joy. We start taking prenatal classes next week. Everything is really going well so far. I am one of the lucky ones who has had an uneventful pregnancy so far. I hope it stays that way.

How`s my pregnancy doing?

I was wondering the same thing!!! I just hope I don't see a surprise during the ultrasound..then I'd be sad that I figured it out. LOL

I am not going to find out. My husband is the one who wanted to wait - and I am ok with that. We didn't find out with our first and it was nice to have something to look forward to at the birth. Not that you aren't excited anyway - BUT when you hear the baby cry, you are thinking oohhh is it a boy or a girl???

I want it to be a suprise baby too, my fiance probably wont let it happen though : /

That's cool. Glad to hear everything is ok. I bet you've never been so happy to have a UTI. We have our big screening US on May 9th and we are going to find out what we are having. I am too much of a planner. Plus I want to shop for baby stuff. I know a lot of people though who wait and find out. Good luck at your US next week.

OMG Mine itch like mad they even started to peel !! I tried creams and stuff but the only thing that helps is baby oil. I put loads on at night and then a smaller amount on in the morning, other wise it stains your clothes. Good luck TC Mand x

YES!!! Itchy boobs like crazy. Wake up scratching them while I was sleeping.... even have some scabs now from scratching them so much!! This is my 3rd and I don't remember EVER having this much itchiness... I am told it is b/c of all the sudden grwoth, hormone changes and BB's preparing for lactation but jeepers is the itching So VERY annoying! Honestly I just grab the back scrubber from the shower and itch away... just wanted to let you know your not alone. :)

Wow, I can't believe you had an u/s at 10 weeks and 12 weeks. I went today and we just heard the heartbeat, no u/s. :( But the heartbeat was strong, 164, which my doc said was pretty high. She said I have an active baby. It was moving around when she was trying to get the heartbeat. When is your next appointment? Do you know what you're having yet?

surprsdmomi - Thursday, 3 April

chambless3 - Sunday, 30 Mar
How was you last u/s? Our last one was at 10 weeks and that was already 2 weeks ago! Ican't believe the weeks are going by so fast now. It is almost time to start getting ready for the baby. I feel like I've just been in a holding pattern.

heatherz - Wednesday, 19 Mar
Hey, I read one someone's page you can't get warm? I meant to ask the dr when I went yesterday and forgot. I am COLD all the time??? Are you to? I wonder what that is? I can't seem to find anything that confirms this, supposedly we are to be warm all the time. Wierd, huh?!

jlynn - Friday, 14 Mar
I heard the heartbeat 4 days ago and it was 174. I think I am having a boy, who knows??? : ) I don't think heartbeat determines sex.

Chambless3 - Friday, 14 Mar
You realy got to see the baby move around? I hav an appointment Tuesday and I will be 10 weeks exactly and I really hope to see our little pea. God Bless you and your baby!!!!

2ndtimeround - Thursday, 13 Mar
Hi. I had an ultrasound at exactly 8 weeks and the heartbeat was 175 BPM. I thought it was fast too but the technician said it was good.

Hey! I'm the same way. Not many symptoms yet. Sometimes I have sore BB's when I wake up, but that's about it. I have my first dr appointment week 9. I don't know if they'll do an ultrasound then or not.?. I'm nervous. Will feel much, much better once we see / hear a strong heartbeat. Prayers for you and all of us!! God Bless!

Euphoric - Friday, 22 Feb

Yes...very gassy :( My husband makes fun that he is going to start wearing a mask!! But, my friends say that it only gets worse as time goes on!! This is our first too and we are so excited!! I have been pretty nauseas though, but no puking!! Baby Blessings!

Heatherz - Wednesday, 20 Feb
I hate to admit it but yes, very gassy....ha ha, not enjoying that symptom for certain and yes, bloated. Though they say to be aware of salty foods as that causes retainment....

jlynn - Saturday, 16 Feb
Yes, with my first baby, who is 17 months I gained 11 lbs in the first trimester. your body just does what it needs to. I gained 42 lbs total and lost it all in the first three months after she was born. I have already gained 5 and I am only 6 weeks!!!!!

karma - Friday, 15 Feb
Hi, Sometimes the scale at the gynae's rooms are more accurate then the one's at home. I to thought that i gained alot but my husband who is a doctor explained to me that some scales differ...if you put the scale on an uneven floor, carpeted or even a tiled floor you will get different readings. You'll see the next time you go to your caregiver your weight won't be as drastic as you think.

brown28 - Saturday, 9 Feb
CONGRATS. IM 5 WKS 2. WHEN IS YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT? MY BOOBS HURT TOO, & IM STILL CRAMPING.

karma - Friday, 8 Feb
Hi! IT'S GREAT TO GET TO RELATE ALL MY SYMPTOMS TO PEOPLE THAT ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME THING. IT MAKES THE PREGNANCY SOMEHOW MORE EXCITING AND REAL.
