This is our first baby and we are very excited! The first appointment is April 2nd. It'll be interesting for sure. We do miss our family in Michigan but get to visit in June YEAH!!!!

July 23rd-23 weeks
I thought I'd sit and try to figure out how to put the updates on the front page and I'm feeling good right now!! I called and found a new doctor, they can't get me in until next Tuesday the 29th. I'm just not gonna mention that we're moving because I need to have the piece of mind that everything is good with the baby. Just waiting on something to become available to rent out in Wyoming. Luckily our lease isn't up yet on our apartment here(that turned out to be a blessing). It isn't up until November, but we definitely want to be moved by then and would miss each other WAY too much by then. Hope all goes well with our move, and it will as long as we keep our faith in God.

July 29th - 24.5 weeks

Just got back from my Dr. appointment and it went very well. I was nervous to tell him I was moving because I've had a hard time tracking down an office that would see me for 2 months or less, lots of rejection calls. He couldn't believe that I was turned away and haven't been seen since May 28th. They weren't rushing me, everyone was very nice. The baby's heart beat was 150 bpm. My weight was 132- a 16 lb gain so far-normal. I was "measured" for the first time and that is normal. He talked about contractions and what to do if I feel them. I was concerned I may have a bladder infection-the test was inconclusive but he wrote me the rx anyway. He advised that we move before 34 weeks because travel can be extra hard at that time. Also wants to see me every 2 weeks. This is exciting because it makes me feel way closer to the finish line. My husband is going to look at a house for us after work today. Hope it all looks good, then we can get the buying ball rolling again and get moved before 34 weeks!! It better happen sooner than that-I miss my hubby. I had a dream this morning that I was waiting for my toast to pop and Pete came and cuddled up behind me with a big hug and kiss. I can't wait to see him- GOD please watch over him and keep him safe, and put your blessing on our house hunt, thank you for everything you've given us, AMEN

Yes your family should be able to feel. Mine can. They have been able to since 17 weeks. Now you can actually see the thumps. It's so amazing!

teenbaby - Thursday, 22 May
hey i read your comment on week 19 and for me, my boyfriend was able to feel at like 17 weeks and now you can even watch my belly and see the little one kick, it is so amazing. I think it depends on the person and baby, since you felt yours kind of early you might have a good chance to share the experience. I can't really say but it definitely is not impossible I been able to share for nearly 2 weeks and I love it.. Good Luck!

goaskalice - Thursday, 22 May

NARNAR - Thursday, 22 May
I am a first time mommy as well :)
I felt the baby move for the first time at 20 weeks and my husband could feel it at 21 weeks
Good luck :) and have a great time at home :)

mama-sl0p - Thursday, 22 May
At 19 weeks no one could feel my baby kick...now that I'm 23 everyone can...it just depends

xobeckyxo - Thursday, 22 May
my husband couldn't feel our baby move until later on..like 24 weeks. I have heard it can depend on the positioning of your uterus and also how much belly fat you have that could muffle the kicks. I still think there might be a possibility they could feel it!!

cinnammonngirl - Thursday, 22 May
az-mommy,

I think my husband was about to feel the first movement around 20 weeks. If you're persistent about it, you should probably be able to get someone to feel something...even if it means that your mom has to sit there with her hand on your stomach for ten minutes! :D

Number2intheOven - Thursday, 22 May
Hi! It honestly just depends on the baby and your body. This is my 2nd and I could feel him from the outside at 20 weeks. My son, who is 6, just felt him for the first time last week after trying and trying for weeks...as soon as he'd put his hand on, he'd stop moving. I wouldn't get your hopes up too much so that you aren't disappointed.

JennRunyon524 - Thursday, 22 May
This is my first as well and i've felt the baby moving since about 16 weeks, however I'm now 20 weeks and my husband has still not felt the baby move! Your baby is so tiny that the kicks and punches aren't very strong yet! Maybe take your ultrasound pictures with you and if you get another ultrasound before you go home, have them record it onto a dvd for you! that way they can watch the baby move around inside of you! :]

smerty - Thursday, 22 May
I could feel our son moving at about 14 weeks... but no one flet it outside until about 25 or 26 weeks and it would take leaving a hand on my belly for at least 10 minutes before... but I think my son is just stubborn hahaha! 20 wekks may be a little hopeful for them to feel it but who knows... I hope that you have an awesome visit with your family though... and just remember (it use to bum me out all the time) if they do not feel it they will always be there after your little one is born and they can share in all the joys of changing diapers then!

junebb08 - Thursday, 22 May
I didnt feel my baby for the first time until I was @ the end of 18 weeks. My hubby couldnt feel him until sometime in the early 20s - I dont remember specificially when though... My best guess is that they probably wont be able to feel anything at 19 weeks. YOU might internally, but it's so faint that being felt from the outside is probably not likely! Sorry!

tdotali - Thursday, 22 May
Every woman is different but my sister was able to feel a little flutter at 17 1/2 weeks. He was low and I think she was just at the right place at the right time.
But my family wasn't able to feel a good kick until 22 weeks. Good Luck!

babybarbados - Thursday, 22 May
it depends on how you are carrying and where you placenta is located. They might be able to feel something if there is a strong kick and they are in the right place at the right time, but I wouldn't count on it. Don't be dissappointed if they don't. 19 weeks is pretty early for others to feel something.

mamabea - Thursday, 22 May
the patient ones who will hold their hand on your tummy should be able to feel it.. Keep track of what you eat or drink that makes your baby move most.. mine is ice water and jamba juice smoothies.. she loves them..

*Baby-Mine* - Thursday, 22 May
well, everyone is different, and some people feel it outside sooner than others, but i know alot of girls, myself included, have said their partners are barely feeling it from the outside, and we're in week 21.
just be patient, and keep your fingers crossed, but honestly i dont think they'll be able to. My mom told me not to expect my hubby to feel it until about 5 or 6 months along, and sure enough i'm 5 months and he barely felt it last nite.
Good luck

peaceful1013 - Thursday, 22 May
It's hard to say. With my baby, everytime I felt her move at around 19 weeks, then asked my husband to put his hand on my stomach to feel it she would stop. Even now at almost 33 weeks, she still does it. you might still be a little early for other people to feel at only 19 weeks....

excitedtoseebaby - Thursday, 22 May
If the baby cooperates then maybe. I am 34 weeks and my mother has not been able to feel her kick because she is only really active at certain times. My husband felt her around 22 weeks just because he would spend an hour waiting. Don't get frustrated if they can't, if your baby is anything like mine she gets shy when others are around.

beebop - Thursday, 22 May
I doubt that they will be able to feel anything... your little one is still very very tiny and only you can feel anything until about 25 weeks when other might be able to see/feel something.... you could always rent a doppler and take it with you and then they can all hear what's going on.. that might be nice for them and will help them feel involved.

amygirl22 - Wednesday, 21 May
I got an ultrasound the end of last month.. Not twins. LoL. And I found out today I'm only 13 weeks instead of 14 like I thought. I was hoping I was further along. But I got to hear the heartbeat today for the first time. It made me cry. :) The best sound in the world.

raechelle - Thursday, 15 May
yes i have had 2 u/s, but that is the last i will get until about 20 weeks. maybe by the time you get in for your u/s you could be around 17 18 weeks and you may get to find out the gender of your baby earlier than the rest of us.

mommy2anangel - Wednesday, 14 May
hi,

i guess i have felt my babies for a few weeks too, but more in the past few days. i was pregnant last year so i know what the first movements of a baby feel like.i think i was 14 post ovulation when i had a hunch i was pregnant. i had a high blood count. at week 6, it was confirmed when my doc saw two sacks with two tiny little babies and two heartbeats. so there fraternal... hopefully, godwilling a boy and a gir so i can be done. =)

have you gone to your doc yet? you just might be having twins. im a little on the heavy side, so it hard to tell im pregnant, but my hubby and friends say... oh yeah, i look pregnant already.

good luck

raechelle - Wednesday, 14 May
hey how is everything going? I went to the doc yesterday. he did another u/s we saw the baby moving and of course we saw the heartbeat again. It was exciting! i feel alot better. did you get an u/s yet? i cant remember

TickledPink- - Thursday, 1 May
Thanks for the information. I have a u/s set up for 5/7 so I just told my bf to go then. I don't think he needs to be there for all of the pap stuff. You know? Thanks again and take care of you and the little one. :-)
