My Pregnancy Diary

Wednesday April 23th, 2008

Okay today is the 2nd day without my period and I started to get some weird backaches. I sort of just had that feeling that I was pregnant so we took a test and sure enough it said I was pregnant immediatly I called my dr and she fit me in for Friday and I cannot wait to hear it from her. I called my husband and told him what the test said and he could hardly wait to get home to see it for him self. We even took 3 more between today and Friday just because we couldn't believe it.

Friday April 25th, 2008

My first Drs appointment, my dr confirmed that I was indeed pregnant and set my due date at December 30, 2008. I am exactly 1month 3 days today. As soon as I left the drs off ice I couldn't wait to call hubby at work. He was so excited as soon as he got off the phone he called his Mom and I called my Mom & Dad. Our parents were so excited this will be the first grandchild on both sides. How exciting!!!!!!!

Thursday May 22nd, 2008

My second drs appointment and first US. Hubby didn't get to go with me to this one but I was able to see my baby heart beat on the screen. That was so exciting. The dr said the heart beat was very strong about 160. I got my first little pics of the baby it looks just like a little bean. But dr. said everything was okay with the baby.

Wednesday June 18th, 2008

My third drs appointment and this time Hubby was able to go. The dr used the doppler to let us hear the heart beat. The baby heart rate was 156. I am 12 weeks today. My husband just smiled when her heard the heartbeat for the first time. I had to get all of this blood work done. and we were on our way just happy that the baby is growing. I on the otherhand lost a few pounds due to no appetite. Dr, said this is normal in the 1st trimester.

Thursday July 17th, 2008

My fourth drs appointment. I was able to hear the heartbeat again and it was at 157 so pretty steady heartbeat. I had to get my blood checked again ugh I hate that. I gained 9 pounds since the last visit wow. My thyroid was low but dr said that lots of pregnant women have low thyroid due to the baby living off of ours. She sent me to a specialist just to make sure that everything is okay. My next appointment we get to find out the sex of the baby yeah!!!!!!!!!!

I had a visit to the specialist for my thyroid. They did another blood test ugh I am tired of these things. The results came back and everything is okay.

Today was my fifth dr. appt. I am 20 weeks 5 days according to my ultrasound today. I thought I was only 20 weeks, guess that moves my due date up to Dec 25 instead of 30th. My ultrasound went great and I found out today I am having a GIRL!!!!! My hubby and I were I so amazed watch our little girl on the screen she was so hyper I guess she was excited that mommy & daddy were watching her. She was just moving all around and everywhere. The most importnant thing we found out was that the baby is healthy and she is doing just fine her heart rate was right at 148. I gained 6 pounds but dr says I should gain more by my next visit.

Today was my Sixth dr. appt. I am 6 months preggo. I have gained 13 pounds in all and my baby's heart rate was at 158, still going strong. Everything went fine at my next appointment I have my 1 hour glucose test that I am dreading. Hope it it goes well.

Today was my 8th dr. appt. I am 7 months preggo. I have gained 25 pounds in all so far, her heartbeat is still going strong. Everything went fine I had my glucose test at my last appointment and this appointment I was told it was normal. She measured me and the baby is about 3.5 pounds. I cannot wait to see my precious baby girl.
