your always the one to message about the shots... thanks. I cried when Kloe got dressed up to be honest... Travis, my chubby boy, was impressed with the candy he got tonight. Ha Ha... a lot of people gave them stuff they can eat, toys, stickers.... was awesome!

i just couldn't imagine going back to work right now - or in a couple of weeks - cadence is just 7 weeks this week. Kudos to you for pumping and going home to feed her! wow. How long do you plan to keep up the breastfeeding?

Im having a biatch of a time with it. I've started supplementing her with formula because I wasn't producing an overabundance AND she started doing this freakout thing at the boob where she would get made - still does, while feeding. Now I put her on the boob she'll suck for 5minutes then pull off and after I burp her she won't go back on, she screams. So I do the other side, then the same thing happens, then I do a bottle and the same thing happens. I"m REALLY hoping it's a spitty upppy tummy upset thing that will correct itself, but I'm worried I'm going to stop producing milk because she's not draining them everytime she eats and she was before. I had planned to breastfeed exclusively for 3mos then take it from there, but I'm suspecting I will not be able to do that. Here's to tomorrow being a better day (today was brutal - worst day we've had) Is Rose sleeping through the nights? if not how often does she wake? that's got to be tough. Cadence gets up 2ce - sometimes 3 times most nights. She does a long stretch from her last feed at about 8pm to 12:30-1 then she usually goes till 4. Sometimes she gets me up before 7:30 but not often. I'm looking forward to her not needing that 4am feed! that will be heaven!

mmmmm wine.... I have had the odd glass, but never more than 2 in one night - Thanksgiving being the last. Baby scheduling was put on hold for a while, I've postponed it till she's 8 weeks because she couldn't do the 4 hour feeding schedule. Is Rose?

oopss sounds like she's awake - poor thing today has only taken cat naps all day... I sure hope this doesn't go through the night!

Hi hon! Im home & tired & happy & healing...haven't slept in days but I guess nature is giving me energy, its amazing how it all works. Milla is a bit fussy today & I find myself feeling helpless at times when I cant sooth her right away. She has a serious suck like a hoover vac, ouch!

How is work going?

Hey, there... I haven't been on the computer much lately. I caught this cold yesterday and I've been miserable! He's almost 2 months old and I have had 2 illnesses already!

Date night was really nice. I almost cried when my MIL drove away with my little boy! I was good and resisted calling every few minutes... But, we had a good time. We had a gift card to the restaurant and free movie tickets, so we only had to spend an additional $15 or so. I had a really good canneloni with shrimp and crab in it and Allen had gnocchi with a gorgonzola sauce. Both quite tasty! And, of course, drinks! First time in a long time I've had alcohol! :) The fire call was so fun! That sounds funny, huh? Just being able to be on a truck again and not just have to listen from a distance. Haven't been able to go on one since.

I'm glad work is going well! I bet you are a fun teacher, that's good that they think you are fun! What a lifesaver for you to get to see her at lunch - that is so great! I bet you count down until lunch... I know I would!

Sorry you are tired... It's hard to function when you are completely exhausted!

My Grandma that lives in Seattle has been moved up here due to health complications. I know it's a good thing, but Saturday, Allen is going down to help move all of her stuff up here. It's a bummer because Saturdays are usually our day together. He is going I think to Vegas for a conference in November, that'll be the first time he's been gone overnight. That'll be hard. I know he's going to be gone only 3 days, I think, but he will be gone almost a week in Florida in January. It's definitely harder to have him gone now...

Poor little Jaeden is coughing and is so stuffy. I feel so bad for him! I know I feel miserable, I hope he doesn't have it as bad! I can't quit sneezing right now! Bleck...

We've used the bottle several times, I have never fed her from it only Devin and my mom. She takes a paci pretty well, and is getting better about the bottle but she really just prefers me.

I hope I'll be able to continue to feed breast milk I really want to hold off on the formula for as long as possible.

kinda sucks!! my husband just got told they will be working a 30 hour week til further notice!! finances are bad for them. Now they are badder for us!! (see, I smart) Just too lazy to correct myself today!!

I was planning to leave December 11 but now I am going to try to work til at least Christmas. We will see! They will let me stay as long as I can do my job so no biggie there!

Everything is going great I found the letters that I have been looking for for Joel's nursery the other day and finished them last night as soon as Bobby finishes his crib and I can clean the carpet in the room I can start putting the room together. Can't wait

I hope that work is going well! I'm going back January 5th. I'm taking an extended leave because I don't want to go back before winter break...after is just fine! I just want to enjoy my time with Shayla!
My family *smiles* is doing very well. Adam and I are in Heaven. I am slowly healing...i still feel very comfortable down there. and if i don't pump for a couple of hours my boobs feel like they will explode! I have about 70 ounces now but my mom said it will go very quickly because Shayla will start to eat more and I won't be pumping as much. I may have to start supplementing with formula come February but that's fine.
We have visitors all the time! We are always so busy. I haven't gotten used to napping during the day yet. Shayla slept very well last night. I'm trying so hard to get her days and nights straightened out!
This morning I swear she laughed for the first time! It was so funny! And she smiles all the time! from day one! Anytime someone holds her they say "oh my gosh! she just smiled!" and I say "I know! She smiles all the time!" She is such a sweet baby!
Adam said yesterday that he hopes she gets big eyes like Rose! lol. I said sorry hunny she has little eyes like me!
I so wish you lived closer! That would be awesome! We could go on mommy-daughter outings!

Once Shayla's costume is done I will take lots of pictures!
We couldn't find a costume small enough last minute so I'm kind of putting together a tiger costume! I'll let you know how it goes!! lol.

omg yum! I love fresh figs. Your wedding food sounds so lovely Adrienne, you clever little thing. I will pull out the slow cooker recipes for you too, especially as the colder weather is coming for you, and its such comfort food for winter. I can never put together things in my head, I have to have an actual recipe to follow, so I might email them to you. Just do the conversions from Australian to American.

My family is well, thankyou so much for asking, and Grayson is just gorgeous of course. I am loving this stage. He had his vaccinations on Tuesday, but was just fine for it. How is Rose and how are you both handling your transition back to work?
