just got home yesterday from hospital was there since last mon, had my baby girl, june 4, she's amazing and beautiful i am uploading pics, i had a horrible and traumatic delivery so i am gonna wait to post it so no-one thinks it will happen to them i want everyone to know their birth experience will be great, check back soon and look at the pics??? I keep reading of "induced pregnancies" and I keep wondering why my "old school" doctor wont induce me now! He tried to logic with me and say that inducing the pregnancy causes distress to the baby but at this point I am the one with distress! Ive tried everything tea, spicy food. you name it and no results. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!

if your labor isn't going very fas when you get to the last few cm, i would say you will want one. i wanted one when i heard i was at 6, but then about 10 minutes later his head was out and no docs around. i couldn't have done it if the pain was like that and i was slowly dilating. thank God it went fast. But you can do it if you really want to, hopefully it will go fast like mine. Good luck

You poor thing! My Dr doesn't want me going over 40 weeks although i am 40 next thursday and I saw another Dr and he said he won't induce me until the following Monday or Tuesday because there are no midwives working the weekend! I'm sure if I went into natural labour they'd find one real fast! That's 5 days over! I have been really cranky these past few days. I don't mean to be but I can't seem to help it.

I see everyone at my obgyns office, we don't have a set dr. Who ever is on call is your dr. I agree though it is like we are just there for them to get paid. I hate it. I like most of the dr. there but there are a couple of them that make me soooo mad lol.
