Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Tuesday, 29 July Hey, you know my lil one does the same thing w/ paper towel, napkins, and tissue paper. If he see a small piece on the floor, he goes straight to it and put it in his mouth. Sometime he will find a napkin on the floor and rip it into piece before putting it his mouth. When I see him ripping the napkin apart I watches him until it get small I run over and take it away. Babies like ripping paper, I heard. Oh and when he chews paper towel or napkin, he takes longer to chew it and luckily I catches him before he swallow it. I just stick my finger and pull it out. Lucky he took longer chewing or else I wouldn't know he has something in his mouth. They're so bad at this age. We need to keep our eyes on them all the time. All in all, it's better napkin/paper towel, than a piece of toy. Small paper towel will come out either way, if you know what I mean. luvbeingamom -

Friday, 18 July Hi there, my period came back when my son was 3 months old and I went back to work. He's 8 months old and I still breastfeed him, although I am weaning him. I noticed a dip in my supply on the days I had my period so I hade to be better about pumping at work, but once my cycle was over, my supply went back to normal. I did take fenugreek tohelp boost my supply during the times I had my period though. LagunaMama -
Tuesday, 8 July Everyone tried to tell me to get rid of my cats before I had my baby but I was like NEVER. I have two cats and a 3 lb yorky. The are really good motivation for my baby. She started rolling over at 4 months because she was so curious and wanted to touch my cats. chanel -
Thursday, 24 April i still bf and my daughter is 10 months my period came on around six months after having her but i've never lost my sex drive ...but it might be a sign though melsvb -
Friday, 18 April I dont think it has anything to do with the breastfeeding, i think it may just be your body coming back around to itself. good luck, idk about my sex drive cause I have no man..hehe.., are you pumping when you are at work?? I pump at work Angiepangie -
Wednesday, 16 April I was between 5 and 6 months post-pregnancy when I started my period again. I had been hoping it would hold off longer! A second one wasn't in my plan! We're really exited now though...the shock has worn off! So it may be any day for you now...so don't forget to pack something for yourself in the diaper bag when you go out! :0) Angiepangie -
Tuesday, 15 April I was pumping every 3 hours when Douglas was 6 months...give or take a half hour...day and night. At that age that is how often they would be nursing, so that is how I pumped. My supply by that time was well established, and I could get about 5 oz from each breast in about 15 min. I froze the extra. I used the hospital grade Medela pump, so I could pump both breasts at the same time. If you pump until you have had 2 'letdowns' before stopping a pumping session, you should see an increase in your milk supply within 12 hours. Then maybe you don't have to pump as frequently. Your baby's primary source of nutrition is still going to be breast milk...so even though you're offering solids, don't expect their appetite for milk to diminish. I started pumping every 4 hours around 9 months, then every 5-6 hours at 10-11 months. Remember if they ever get a cold or feel 'under the weather', they go right off solids, so you want to make sure there is always extra breast milk around. Hope this helps. Angiepangie -
Tuesday, 15 April I noticed you requested a page for pumping..I exclusively pumped for my first born for 12 months. He was born 'tongue tied' and I had flat nipples. Everyone (including the lactation consultant) said I would be lucky to get 3 or 4 months...but I did it! If you ever want to chat, just post me. jenakers -
Tuesday, 15 April "Head rubbing" is cranial manipulation therapy. It is a new technique much like a chiropractor. They are suppose to be able to reshape their heads by pushing on nerves and the skull plates. You can google it to find more info. We took our son to that doc from 8 months to 10-1/2 months. We felt, for us, that it was a waste of time and did nothing to correct the problem. It's a tough situation. Only you and your hubby can decide what (if anything) you do. Our son was considered sever. I felt, like you, that I needed to try to do something before it was to late. Luckily my husband felt the same. Take care, Jen Bri -
Monday, 14 April That's funny. I wasn't trying to get pregnant at all. I was on birth control but afterwards I was looking into when I would have ovualated and such and could have sworn I was having a girl. My sister tried the same thing for a girl and now has two boys. I will be happy with whatever we get but I think it would be fun to have one of each. I can't wait but then again I can. My little boy has been getting up every hour during the night and it is killing me. I just want his teeth to come in so we can get back to normal. I think when Kekoa is potty trained we will go at it again. HAHA! Bri -

Hey thanks. We think he is a keeper. you little girl is so cute. I can't wait to have a little girl. I know I can't predict what we are having but I'm going to use the chinese calander and an ovulation kit and try for the best. HAHA! I haven't seen the chinese calander be wrong yet so we'll see! Monday, 14 April Thanks a lot for the info! I am definitely going to buy a Medela, either the Pump in Style or the Advanced. This will probably be my last child, but ya never know!! But, I really want to make sure my baby gets breastmilk, either from breastfeeding or from pumping and putting it in the bottles. Thankyou so much for taking the time to write me!!
