Hello everyone my name is Alesia Grimes and i am 22. I live in Lawrence, MA. This will be my first baby. I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years now and he is excited to be a dad. He thought he could not have kids until he met me. I ended up getting pregnant back in July but then when i was 5 weeks that when i found out i was pregnant. Then when 6 weeks came to see the hart they could not see it at all. And my hormones were low. Then when 7 to 8 weeks came they only saw 3 balls of blood clots. But the doctor is not worried this time around. I finally went to get an ultra sound done on 22nd of May and found out that i am 3 months and 2 days. The baby is fine and the hart beat is 162. so everything is fine. My due date is December 1, 2009. When they gave me the pics of the ultra sound the pics made my baby look like an Alien L.O.L. The baby is hyper in the tummy moving and kicking every where. Now i just found out i am having a girl on June 25, 2009. Her name will Be Sady LE Mejia.
adkinsrus07 - Thursday, 19 November Ive heard of it working and not working however I think that only reason it does not work for some women is b/c they havent progressed ANYY and they arent fat enough along. I think that since you are almost full term that it will work. The thing that scares me about it is the whole "baby pooping in the womb" but fro what I understand that is women that are overdue with older babies that needed to come out anyway. I just dont get these docs that make women weight till 42 weeks- maybe THEY should try carrying a baby. If you want me to tell you I Have a horrible horror story that happened to my SIL b/c they made her weight almost 42 weeks.
adkinsrus07 - Thursday, 19 November Well I hope it works for you. Im telling you try these things and see if they work for you b.c they did for me!!! I was like 1cm diated barely at my almost 37 week appt. Well the next week he told me ok- we will induce you at 39.1 weeks (b/c of low fluid etc) ONLY if your cervix is favorable more. So, Im like freaking out all week trying to make things progress- so turns out that after only a week of tons of sex, laying back letting the sperm stay inside (lol TMI) and inserting the primrose oil tabs, that today at my appt Im almost 4cm, completely effaced and she is at the lowest possible station- so try those things!!! If you have REALLY progesses they may help you speed things up. Honey I really think the sweep will work for you. Ive been bleeding since he messed around down there this morning. I am sch. to be at the hosp. Sun Morn at 5am so maybe I will be welcoming baby by the evening!!!! How are you feeling???
claire louise - Thursday, 19 November 38 week belly pics posted:)xx
adkinsrus07 - Thursday, 19 November A sweep can work even if you are not ready but I think you should ask for one asap if they feel that you are doing well. It only helps labor come on and works with your body- whats the worst the doc can say- no- If not than ask to be induced- many doctors dont mind inducing b/t 39-40 weeks. If you want to go naturally and want to wait than the 27th will be perfect.
newmommyx2 - Wednesday, 18 November hey everyone! quick question can anyone tell me a good reasonably priced place to take newborn pics? they didnt take any in the hospital and i want some asap!they are already 3wks old!!
babyluv843 - Wednesday, 18 November changed my username. it was formerly christie078:-)
babyluv843 - Wednesday, 18 November hey guys....new blog, need some advice!
momof609 - Tuesday, 17 November a bloody show is something thats different for everyone really... sometimes it happens a few days/week before labor and sometimes it happens after your already in the hospital and labor is well on its way.... kinda a bloody, snotty period. I have had them where blood ran down my leg and I have had them where I wiped and there was alittle on toilet paper.... certainly dont use it to decide when its time to go to the hospital and dont wait for it to happen before you go if contractions are strong enough.... some people dont even notice one at all.... no two for me have been the same.
babyluv843 - Tuesday, 17 November uploaded some new pics of landon @ 1 week old
adkinsrus07 - Monday, 16 November and to be honest- I dont know how it works really but it gets things going lol.
adkinsrus07 - Monday, 16 November A sweep it where they put there fingers and kind of push through your cervix to acutally detch the membranes from the bag of water. It can be a littl uncomfy. It works for alot of women- for others it doesnt and some have to have it done several times. You may have spotting, mucousy stuff and bloody show which means it worked. I got my membranes swept around 10:30 am with Asa at 39 weeks and then I acutally started early labor that afternnoon. It wasnt until I walked into the hosp. for my induction that they were like- um yeah youve been having contractions. lol- trust me you would rather then do that and try to start on your own than messing with the induction.
adkinsrus07 - Monday, 16 November Im so glad everything is ok- sounds like you have a great man and soon yall will have the most beautiful miracle to share and it will bring yall so much closer.
proudmomma2elijah - Monday, 16 November Going to the doctor's today at 3:10pm and i will write a blog and udate you ladies later once i get back home. 36 weeks tomorrow! Yay me!
adkinsrus07 - Monday, 16 November Its tough and sweetie despite what we think about ourselves Im sure he thinks u are still gorgeous (which u are) there is nothing more precious than carrying a man's baby- my hubby always insists Im still pretty. And Im like um ok thanks honey for tryin to be nice lol. But seriously it may just be hormones so if I were you- just to avoid any conflict- dont ask him about it yet- see if it becomes a pattern ya know- and if not than u know u had nothing to worry about. Good luck Im sure all will be fine. =)
babyluv843 - Sunday, 15 November posted a couple new blogs, nothing big, just kinda ranting and raving and thinking:-) check em out if your bored. thanks for all your great comments! this website really has helped me through!
felualda - Sunday, 15 November hey there!let me start by saying i hear you loud and clear! when i was pregnant with my first girl, my husband found some pics from high school and i got soooo jealous coz he's ex girlfriend was in all the pics...anyhoo - after i gave birth - i didn't once ever thik about the pics nor was i feeling jeealous or anythinh like it. This time round it has started up again - he went to a club with his mates and didn't wear his rings (later fiound out they actually don't fit) but at the time i flew into a huge raging lunatic (and i still to this day think that was normal behaviour of me).... my point - its your hormones honey, believe me its your hormones! You probably would have reacted different pre pregnancy yet effetced the same way.Sorry i wasn't much help, but it will pass as soon as you give birth :)
adkinsrus07 - Sunday, 15 November I know it is tough but it also comes with that kind of lifestyle. He will hae alot of girls hanging on him and in order to get in good if this is a big deal career thing he wants to gain fans an not tick anybody off- however it would hurt my feeling too- not that I would not trust my hubby but I know what you mean- the closeness- but Im sure it measn nothing to him- however ask him to take it off his page- it doesnt need to be shown to the world. (I know how it is my hubby is a musician) and you know girls just have a thing for musically inclined guys- it does not make it right but as long as everyone knows YOUR situation and he is off the market- dont read more into it. I know it is an emotional time. Honestly- wait until you have the baby to mention things like that so that your man cant "use your hormones as an excuse" lol- I know me and my hubbyy rarely argue- but anytime I have brought something up lately its like he does not take it asseriously b/c he doesnt know if it is me or baby hormones talkng lol. Take care sweety Im sure it will be ok.
