Hi Everyone! My name is Alethea I live with my partner Darren and we have 2 smashing boys aged 15 + 12. We have been TTC for 2 years now. In July '07 i had a m/c at 12wks. Then on Feb 12th we got the BFP :-)

21st March.. (9 weeks + 2 days)

Had my 1st antenatal appointment. It took approx. 1 hour. Everything is fine and no problems:-)

18th April.. (13 weeks + 2 days)

Went to hospital to see my consultant and sonographer. It was amazing seeing my baby for the first time, i was so happy and relieved everything was fine!

8th May.. (16 weeks +1 day)

Had a home visit today! Midwife needed to come and take more blood for repeat group and clotting screening for my von willabrands disease. I asked her if i could hear my baby's heartbeat, as soon as she put that thing on my tummy there it was galloping away. I was so happy :-)

9th June.. (20 weeks + 5 days)

Had my scan today and . I was thinking of a boy all along as i never thought i'd ever have a girl. When she said a girl a tear rolled down my cheek, it was one of the happiest moments in my life:-) She weighs 393g. The doctor booked me in for my c section. She will be born Wednesday 15th October.

24th July.. (27 weeks + 1 day)

4 days ago i decided to sort my yard out! When i lifted a heavy plant pot i felt a tearing sensation in my placenta (It is at the front). I went to the doctors today and explained this to him. He sent me to the hospital to get checked out. Everything was fine with me and baby, my baby now weighs 2lbs + 9ozs. Lesson learned, now it's time for me to take things easy and enjoy!

4th August..(28 weeks + 5 days)

Went to hospital today to get my bloods done! My fundal height was measuring 35cm. Midwife had a word with the doctor about this but she wasnt too worried as my scan 10 days ago was ok. This scared me as i havent even started buying anything for baby, so from the hospital i went straight into town. I have now started and hoping to get finished in the next 3 weeks:) I have to go back 1st Sept to get my bloods done again, then they might wanna scan me to check baby's measurements.

1st September..(32 weeks + 5 days)

Went to hospital today to get my bloods done again! My Von WB factor levels are normal so thats good news:) Midwife measured my fundal height at 38cm so the doctor arranged for me to be scanned. The results were all normal for my dates! My baby weighs approx 4lbs 8ozs.

15th September.. (34 weeks + 5 days)

Been to see midwife today. All is well with me and my baby:) My fundal height is measuring 41cm and my baby is head down. I am starting to get breathless now and needing a wee all the time, all the glorious things that come with pregnancy lol. Just another 4 weeks and 2 days till i meet my baby girl :)
