I am 27 year old expecting a baby girl March 30, 2009. It is a very high risk pregnancy. I had a cerclage done at 13 weeks and since then I am at home. For the past two weeks have been on a strict bed rest and will have to be in bed until the baby comes. Most of my days are pretty boring and long, but books and internet keeps me busy for the time being.

hi Alicja17, thank you so much for writing back to me. This is all so new to me and at times i feel so alone, so words can't express how thankful i am for you sharing your experience. I do have a few questions: how often do you monitor for contractions, are you taking medication at home and how many contractions can you have with the cerclage before it can cause a change in measurement. Also should i elevate my legs my dr doesn't seem to think it helps? Thanks again- its encouraging to hear you are doing so well. Best of luck!!!!
