Yes, we are having another boy! My 6yo is so excited! Here I am in week 17. I have gained only 1 lb. Seems the nausea has gone away, mostly. I am better able to eat most anything. Had a diet coke yesterday. First one since knowing I was pegnant. Of course, I worried about it, and of course I felt a lot of ligament pain in the afternoon. Which I tied together. LOL! Anyway, feeling fine maybe a little more tired and I find it harder to walk.

Oh yes, my high school kids found out I was pregnant this week. Afterward, they acted as though they knew the whole time. They said my moods were bad and I have started walking differently. LOL! Personally, I think it was the fact I began wearing maternity tops this week.

May 19

I am almost at 19 weeks which is nearly halfway! So hard to believe all this time has passed. I went yesterday for bloodwork related to my hypothyroidism. When I go to the doctor in a few weeks, I will get the results. I will also be having my 20 week ultrasound. Maybe Little One will let us take another looksie.

I have really started showing now. Seems over the past 2 weeks I have exploded. Still have only gained about 2 lbs.But, I am pretty big. I have been feelign more tired lately. By the end of each day I feel as though I have a weight pulling down on my belly. I find I am sitting more each day. Sleeping is also starting to get interrupted bythe pains in my hips and arms. All worth it, but wow what a babe does to your body.

May 26

Twenty weeks! I missed a doctor appointment today. Ends up, I really should have gone. I am feeling very depressed and out of sorts. Yucky feelings. Not sure shy, just hate them. My son and I are heading to the beach next week with my sister and nephew. Hopefully, a change of scenery will be for the good.

Gabriel is so excited to be becoming a big brother. He told me today, "You look very pregnant, now." Good thing he didn't say "fat". LOL! He helps me get up off the couch, and he hugs the baby all the time.

I have an ob/gyn appointment on Wed. I will have my 20 week ultrasound. Hopefully, baby will "show" himself again. Verify the train of thought for names. Right now, I am still liking Daniel Bennett, but Sebastian Bennett is also a good choice.

May 27

I felt Baby move several times today. Of course, I am sure it was because I was "trying" to feel him. Still, it' s a very nice feeling.

May 31

Had my 20 week u/s on Wed. Baby is getting so big. He is 10 oz. I also found out why my belly looks so pregnant- my uterus goes 3-4 inches above my belly button. I had read it should go to the belly button, so I was surprised, yet delighted, as to why I am so big. Baby has caught up to my original estimation of due date. He had been 3 days behind. My guess, if he is like his brother was, the techs will be asking me in another few months if maybe I was wrong about the estimated dd because baby will be huge. My 6 yo was 10 1/2 lbs when born. All I have to say is Thank God for c-sections!

June 7

Got back from Gulf Shores yesterday.Gabriel and I went and joined my sisiter, b-i-l and their son.Lots of fun, but tiring.My ss, Kelly, found out I am pregnant when we visited she and her partner.I mean, it is kinda obvious now.Belly is pretty much out there.I have gained a few lbs this week.Some may be from dehydration.I go today for the first of 2 glucose tests.Due to my PCOS, my dr. wants me to have 2.YAY!NOT!I'm just glad I am home to take the test as we head out on our cruise in the next few days.

June 20

Well, I didn't get the glucose done until yesterday. Seems I did get dehydrated and ended up with a bladder infection . I was worried about going on our cruise last week being on antibiotics and having lots of side pain. It all seemed to work out. I spent the 2nd night in lots of pain, but I think all is well now. Unfortunately, being on so many pills caused me not to want my prenatals. I seem to be doing really poorly taking them this pregnancy. I pray I am not doing harm to the babe. The baby has been kicking up a storm lately. Nice to feel him every day. My son felt him kick last night for the first time. :)

June 22

My weight is still down 2 lbs from my first appt. Baby showed perfect size at 20 weeks, and I know my belly is getting bigger. I am just worried that he isn't getting something he should be getting.
