~We're expecting our 2nd child (A Boy) February 10, 2009~Hello! My name is Sharla and I am currently pregnant. My husband and I have been married for 6 years as of December 2008. He is one of the most important people in my world. He is a truly good man, husband and father. We have a 3 year old daughter who is the most special child that has ever stepped on earth. (a bit biased) We were in the military and recently got out, but he still works overseas. He came home for an r/r for 3 weeks and we had been trying for months to become pregnant, but he is only home so many times a year. Well my dr. said that the odds were NOT in our favor because of many normal barriers. Well she was wrong...we became pregnant. So this baby was meant to be. Our daughter is so excited to become a big sister, she is so motherly right now. She will be great at it. She also starts school in Sept. (along with mommy) I cant believe she is getting so big! Well I love this site because their are so many supportive people on this site. I actually look forward to checking my page daily. Thank You to everyone who has been a part of my pregnancy!

hey ladies!! so im still sitting here in my hospital bed.im sorry i havent really checked in too much lately ive been really depressed because its so lonely & boring here. i reallly need some prayers that braxton comes soon & that hes super healthy! ive been getting a lot of comments that people have healthy babies and are as far along as me, so i have faith. plus i had 2 steroid shots to strengthen his lungs so i feel confident! i dont know how soon ill go into labor considering im not aloud to do anything!!! the doctor is coming back tomorrow so im gna try & talk to him & see if i can at least get some "wheel chair" privilages haha. anyways..ill update after i talk to the doc tomorrow..i love you all..hope you & the babies are AMAZING!!

That's awesome!!! I had a friend to loan me her Medela too. Friend's are great. Those things are way too expensive. Yeah I have a feeling I'll go into labor in the late evening, that's when most of those BH contractions come...will see. Enjoy your family and May God bless you this Christmas.

I completely share your feelings of, "get these holidays over with and on with January..." .... If we get invited to one more holiday "event" I'm gonna scream.... I'd rather stay home in my pj's than go anywhere... haha

I got a medela pump too... We purchased it with gift cards/returns after our shower. I hope it works out because it's a lot of money to spend if it doesn't.... My frustration is also growing daily about our non exsistant baby room.... For some reaons my father-in-law "HAS" to be the one that paints it (apparently NO ONE else is capable)... We've also decided we're hanging a chair rail and my husband's uncle "HAS" to do that.... So basically our furniture comes Monday (tomorrow) and NOTHING is done!!! I'm trying to suppress my aggravation but it is getting difficult....... ahhhh, thanks for listening to me bi^ch!....... Off to ANOTHER family Christmas Party..........

Ok so i had sent a message to you all about a woman i know that just lost her baby..I got soo many comments back from you amazing women sending your thoughts and prayers..and i wanted to thank you all for it soo much!! I wasnt friends with this woman though..i only knew her because she works with my best friend...but i know it will help to have us all sending our thoughts and prayers to her and her family. I wrote a new blog that talks about her and the situation..and it also has pictures of my new hair cut that i did all by myself..tell me what you think of my new hair cut!!

Thanks again..you ladies are so sweet..my best friend loved hearing that you all cared enough to think of her.

So i have a question. I stumbled across your profile somehow, and I read that you and your hubby were both in the military. My husband is active duty army and when he is done recruiting i am thinking about enlisting. i was wondering what branch yall were in and how it worked... thanks for your help :-) and by the way you have a beautiful family, a beautiful daughter, and an adorable belly! So a woman i know that had the same due date as me and worked with my friend in the kids section at Dillards lost her baby last night!!! She said he had been moving all day and then just stopped and apparently it wasnt the cord that caused the death..i don't think she knows what it was...but hearing this broke my heart..i couldnt imagine how i would survive if this happened to me..so now i am really scared and worried...its just soo sad!! I know none of you ladies know her, but it would be great if you all could keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
