~We're expecting our 2nd child (A Boy) February 10, 2009~Hello! My name is Sharla and I am currently pregnant. My husband and I have been married for 6 years as of December 2008. He is one of the most important people in my world. He is a truly good man, husband and father. We have a 3 year old daughter who is the most special child that has ever stepped on earth. (a bit biased) We were in the military and recently got out, but he still works overseas. He came home for an r/r for 3 weeks and we had been trying for months to become pregnant, but he is only home so many times a year. Well my dr. said that the odds were NOT in our favor because of many normal barriers. Well she was wrong...we became pregnant. So this baby was meant to be. Our daughter is so excited to become a big sister, she is so motherly right now. She will be great at it. She also starts school in Sept. (along with mommy) I cant believe she is getting so big! Well I love this site because their are so many supportive people on this site. I actually look forward to checking my page daily. Thank You to everyone who has been a part of my pregnancy!

Hey Girl. I have been so out of it. Like, depressed as hell. I was in the middle of writing a blog earlier, just talking bout what's been going on.. Then I was just like... Ugh, screw it. So lazy. I'm a lil hurt how my mom went to Korea on such short notice. & left me for Christmas. I do have my real dads family, I know, but I just wish she was here with me. I hate coming home from work to an empty house and a pining dog. Poor dog, misses his buddy. The house is empty w/o any of em.
I'm missing Chris as well. 8 more weeks and things should start getting better & then I can quit feeling sorry for myself ;)
O0oh, and as for stretch marks. I have some at the bottom on the front of my belly. As much lotioning and oiling I did, they still wanted to show up. I don't mind too much. & my thighs..wo0... They huge!! Talk about cellulite as well. Maaannnn....
Anyway. I'm boring myself. Ha! Get at me. Let me know how you have been doing.

heyy ladies!

had an ultrasound today to check on lil man!
we're doing good.
my cervix has shortened. but i can continue everything as normal ((atleast till i see the doc tues thats the plan))

id like lil man here after new years. not before.
so im trying to keep him in there.
they said its fine that the cervix has shortened. thats normal. so were good for now. ive made it to 34 weeks... so we're very much out of the woods.

seriously i love all of you! i had SO many replies on my last blog i just wanted to thank everyone!! ive been laying in bed allll day (as im not aloud to get up except to go to the bathroom) i thought i would be online a lot today but i started feeling really bad from some meds they gave me! i just wanted to let everyone know me & braxxy are doing good! i had my last steroid shot today to help his lungs get stronger..so now i will be off the medicine to PREVENT labor. however i dont see how labor could possible start back up when all i do it SIT here! gosh 14 days seems SOSOSOSO far.i know a lot of people who have done months in the hosp on bed rest though so i know i can do it! who knows..im already 6cm so we'll see. ill keep yall updated everyday! i love you all..ill get back to a lot of the messages tomorrow!! =-) all of you please take care..i am thinking about all of you
