**About Me**

My name is Amanda i am 20 yrz old.. i was married on Sept 2, 2006... Me and my hubby tried for a baby 3 months before i actually got prego.. i used to cry each month when i got my pd.. :-( i though ti couldn't have a baby.. but when i didn't think about it anymore here i was i got prego right after i got married i took 8 preg. tests and they all came back pos. but i still ddin't believe it so i went to the Dr's and yes i was preg. lol i asked i don't know how many times if they were sure.. lol i think they were getting mad at me because i kept asking but i was so much in shock it was crazy i cried it was a dream.. i as gonna have a precious lil baby and exactly 40 wks from my wedding night was my due date..

                                                               **My Pregnancy**

I found out i was pregnant early Oct. i was about 4 wks at the time.. a few weeks late i got my 1st ultrasound :-) amazing i fell in love as i cried watching her heartbeat flicker.. About 8 weeks i started getting sick.. couldn't keep anything down at all so they put me of meds that were given to cancer patients.. lol.. but it was too block whatever reason i was throwing up.. so yeah it worked.. at about 10 weeks i couldn't move my bowels i was soo constipated.. to where 3 weeks later it was soo bad i had to go to the hospital over cramps... i almost lost her but they got it under controll after giving me an enema.. and after tha i was fine no more sickness.. YAY lol.. so about 20 wks i found out i was having a girl and she looked great on the ultrasound she kept moving around hehe.. at about 26 wks i got real bad headaches.. which they said they were tension headaches due to too much stress about things i went into pre-term labor at 27 weeks ... i was very dehydrated and i thought i was haivng normal cramps but  wasn't.. so i was sent to the hospital and they gave me a shot which got it under controll yet EVERY 2 weeks i was ther fore the SAME THING.. at 28 wks glucose test my levels were high so they had me go for a 3 hour and that came back in normal range but they wanted to to watch my sugar.. at 34 weeks they were estimating her weight around 5-6 pounds.. and at this point Brandy decided she was gonna make her due date no more pre-term labor.. which was great hehe... just a whole lot of BRAXTON HICKS... and Reg. contractions about 10-13 minutes after 35 weeks.. yet i was at 25% and 1 cm for weeks.. at 37 weeks she was at a 0 station but still 1cm and 50% so i was getting a lil further hehe...

                                                                    **Birth Story**

Well i went in at a day overdue to get my fluis levels checked and a non stress test.. well both came back fine.. i was having contractions every 7-9 minz which they said it was fine.. YET my blood pressure was up and they checked it 3 times.. same thing so they sent me to the hospital to be monitored after about an hour no change. so they admitted me.. at this point i was alrady in early labor at 2cm and 80%.. that night they put some gel inside to help me finish softening out.. i was fine for 2 hours and then contractions were getting stronger so they gave me morphine to help with the pain i slept maybe 2 hours and then at 8am they started the pitocin.. at 11 am they came in i was at 3 and  they broke my water.. they found meconium which i cried my eyes out.. i was soooo worried about my lil girl.. but they reaasured me she would be fine and they had it under control.. didn't help me from still worrying though.. so after 3 contractions i need the epidural..(her head was at a +1) i was scared to death of the epidural but it didn't even hurt.. lol a shot in my arm hurt more than that... well at about 2 i was at  5cm's and they could already feel her hair.. here about 3 i was 8 and about 3:50 her heart rate was dipping i was at 9 1/2 and she was coming out.. so they had me push.. i pushed 5 times and her head was almost out.. OUCH.. crazy i was starting to feel my legs and i didn't like that lol.. it got sooo intense but i had to get her out.. so i was screaming telling them i couldn't do this and beggin them to cut me.. lol.. didn't happen.. well 3 pushes her head was out... her shoulder got caught but they got that under control but pushing up on my hips and so on.. she then popped out at 5:04 weighing 8lbs 15.2 oz and was 20 inches long  they rushed her off to deal with the meconium.. as for me after the placenta was out i was gushing blood so they rushed to get me a shot to calm down the blood.. which it did.. i had no tears and they didn't cut me and both me and my lil girl were fine.. and after all this pain and hell it hurt SOOO bad.. it was worth it.. she is soo precious and i love her with all my heart and yes to all u who want to know i would do it again.. :-)
