26.6 hours ago Yeah your off work. only one or two more weeks for me. I can't wait! It is torture getting up and getting ready in the morning and plus driving for almost an hour one way. I just want to go back to bed once I get ready to go! Take it easy, not much longer now. weLOVEourKIDZ -

Thursday, 28 August Hey There! Thanks for checkin in. I am doing pretty good with a few exceptions that I am sure all of us pregnant women are going through. I go for my ultrasound this Thursday it is hard to believe I am 28 weeks this Sunday. I only have 9 more weeks to go until c-section! Anxious and Nervous. Have you been scheduled a c-section? Wednesday, 27 August No I am not working shorter weeks because of DR recommendation,. I was already working only 4 days a week since my son was born. But he is 4yrs old now, but I just kept my same schedule to spend time with him! I plan to work up until about 32 weeks I think. But will see. I have to figure out all that disability and my vacation days stuff also. omgtwins -
Tuesday, 26 August Hi there. I am 30 weeks now and am still working, but only 4 days a week but it is still hard. I read your commment and agree with you about walking like an old lady!!! Also, you mentioned FMLA. It's all so confusing, but don't you get paid disability? I know California has different rules anyway. TwinsMake7 -

Thursday, 21 August I can relate to your being tired and sore. I sit at my desk all day and whe I do get up I hobble around. : )
I am officially off work on August 29th as recommended by my doctor. She said she wanted to have naps and take it easy because preterm labour can be brought on by exhaustion (amoung a lot of other things) I'm now looking forward to it because no matter how much sleep I get at night I still wake up tired. durangomama -

Friday, 15 August Hello Amandarekkedal,
I have my twins just over 9 weeks ago, I was reading your comment about having them sleep together, when I was in hospital they did sleep together and when I got home we did put them to sleep together, but then found after about 5 days, that one would wake the other, so we decided to put them seperate in moses baskets but side by side,i actually managed to buy a twin moses stand, and they now sleep much better, in the afternoons I will put them in their cots together to play and strech out, I hope this helps a little

Thursday, 14 August great other than really disliking my skinny friends right now!!!! hehehe How are you my dear? dlei -
Tuesday, 12 August Glad to hear it was a good weekend. I'm noticing the exhaustion is coming back again...so much for the months where I regain some energy.
I hope to someday compare the kicks from twins to a singleton but we'll see how it all goes. I find that I feel them almost all the time from top to bottom and side to side. Crazy girls! Mommy2twogreatkids -
Sunday, 10 August I am glad all your tests went well. And girl I know exactly what you mean I have not worn anything but my crocs and sandals for 2 months now!!!! I hope you can hold out but if it snows maybe you can just stay inside most of the time!!!! m0mmyt0b3 -
Sunday, 10 August congrats on your twin girls :] dlei -
Sunday, 10 August Wow...we do have a lot in common! Those are beautiful names. We are also using my grandma and my husband's father's mom's name's for our middle ones. We tentivately and I say that because we've already changed them once) have Aida Margaret and Abbey Lynne. Originally I didn't want to use the same letter to start each girls names but we really like both of them.
I went in yesterday morning to do my 2 hour glucose (for some reason they don't do a three hour here - which I'm happy for). I had to fast since Friday night at 7pm - which was a feat in itself. Got to the lab at 8am to get it over with and there wasn't one seat available. It was full of seniors...coughing, moaning, etc. I thought "I dont want to sit here for two hours with all these germs"...there are only 2 labs in the city open on Saturdays. I also asked the lady if I could leave then come back and she said no. I wonder why...that seems ridiculous to me. So, I'm going to do it Monday morning instead. I usually go somewhere else where it's not so busy and I'll make sure to bring a book, the PSP, etc.
Our girls are identical. They share a placenta and have a sac with a thin membrane between them.
The weekend is good so far, I think I may have done too much yesterday. I am feeling pretty exhausted today...even after crashing on the couch at 8:30pm last night. We went to the fair and walked and walked and ate and ate. What a mistake that was. I think I am going to take it easy today.
How about you? How as the weekend? Are the girls moving around a lot? Are your girls both head down? Mommy2twogreatkids -
Wednesday, 6 August I have been pretty good just so tired still. But I really don't think that is going to get any better. I am sorry to hear you were at the hospital. I know that is not fun.
I had my glucose test at 19 weeks because I already have elevated sugars that I control with diet. But it was fine. I have to do another one though this month but it really is not that bad to me. I am glad I did not get sick! Yuck!
What did the pains feel like? I have been having these horrible sharp pains like inside down there but it feels like it is up near the babies like maybe it is my cervix. I know about the ligament pain but it is not the same thing I am feeling.
Then this morning when I got up to pee in the middle of the night the topof my belly felt like it was burning and stretching. Have you felt that way at all?
I hope you have a great day today!
