My name is Amber Detty I am 17, a junior, homeschooled, I found out that I was pregnant Nov- 15th and this definantly was planned =) I am 7 weeks now, and Me and my husband are both very excited about bringing our baby into this world .. something soo special to be a piece of both of us is soo amazing. I can't wait until December the 10th thats when I will get to see my babies heart beat for the 1st time :) wish me luck ladies :)

I went to my OB yesterday :) I was so scared that everything wasn't going to be okay, but when I saw that little baby inside me and it's little heart just a flickering :) it was the greatest feeling ever. I am so excited for this baby to get here. my next Appt. is going to be on Jan- 7th the day after my birthday :) and i will be 3 months around that time :)

I am 9 weeks and 1 day today, and I have been feeling quite sick, I have good days sometimes, but mostly just feeling horrible all day long sums it up. I hope I start feeling better!~ I can wait until Jan-7th gets here so that I will get to check on my baby, and hopefully get to hear the heart beat this time :)

I am 11 weeks :) and my next doctors appt. is on Jan 7th :) and that is only a week away :) I will get to hear the heart beat, I am very excited to get to see how much bigger my baby has gotten and to see if it is still okay, my husband says "you worrie too much, everything is going to be fine" ... but it's still hard not to worrie as much as I try not too. :) soo as of how I've been feeling... make up isn't my best friend, I love my bathrobe, couch, t.v. and thats about it, been feeling extra tired lately and extra sick and light headed which is bllaaa, but it will all be well worth it in the long run when my baby gets here;)

Soo.. today started off horrible, my sister in law is six weeks pregnant and at 4:30 we get the call that she is at the hospital having a misscarriage, my heart went out to her because I couldn't imagine being in her shoes, and my worst nightmare came true for her, sooo at 3:30 today I had my doctors appt. and I just thought of the worst and that things were not going to be okay with my baby because of what happend earlier with my sister in law, but all was good, as soon as the doctor stuck the doppler on my belly we instantly heard a heart beat, a good strong heart beat, it was 150 I asked my doctor if that was good and he said it was a very good strong heart beat ;) It is such a relief to know that my baby is doing okay, my next appt is on Feb- 4th and I will then be 16 weeks wish me luck :)

My next doctors appt. is Feb 4th.. then after that my next appt. will be march. 4th and I will be 20 weeks and that is when I will find out what I am having I cannot wait either way a little boy or girl I will love it with all of my heart and soul :) I have been feeling better these past two weeks (knock on wood) and my baby continues to grow :) yaaa...I can't wait to fill he or she kick :)

Sooo... yesterday I went to the doctor 2 weeks early because I went to lay down and I felt like I pulled a muscle in my stomach and was a little sore so I needed to check on the baby and make sure he/she was okay :) and it ends up the baby was perfectly fine and the heart beat was 160 this time... I've heard from all kinds of people "ohhh your gonna have a girl" ... "ohhhh your gonna have a boy" ha so it's just a toss of a coin lol my next appt is in two weeks... Fri- feb 22th at 8:00 in the morning and that is when we'll be finding out what we're having :) yaaa I am soo excited I can't wait :) my tummy is getting bigger and bigger everyday and I can't wait to have a bigg oh pregnant belly :)

I am 16 weeks today :) and I had an appt. and I got to hear my little ones heart beat once more :) but it took a little longer for the doctor to find it because he/she was moving around everywhere, seems I have an active one, well the heart beat was 158 this time ... only two more weeks until I find out what I am having I can't wait, and I can see my tummy getting very large, it's getting bigger and bigger every day; which makes me very happy =)

well yesterday morning I woke up at 4 :00 in the morning with these horrible pains in my stomach and throwing up and I was supposed to have my ultra sound to find out what I was having but I was too sick to go but they ended up having to give me an ultra sound to check on the baby because I was soo sick, and I found out that I am having a beautiful baby girl just what I wanted and we are naming her Peyton Rhiley Detty =) I love that name very much. I can't wait to meet her during the ultra sound it was soo amazing just watching her move and kick, well I woke up this morning and I felt much better I think I got this 24 hour virus from my 10 month old niece :( but I am glad because I was soo worried that my baby was hungry and everything I ate or drank just came back up, so I am hoping that it got some of the food I ate yesterday, well I have an appt. with my OBGYN on monday at 10 :00 then another ultra sound on March the 6th at 6 :00 p.m I can't wait ;)

sooo I had my other ultra sound and I thought that it was supposed to be in Waverly, so we drove to Waverly only to find out that it was scheduled for Chillicothe Adena, so me and my mom and my husband hurried and made it from Waverly to Chillicothe in like 20 min- and I ended up getting my ultra sound :) she was kicking, rolling, and moving everywhere and her heart beat was 147 :) and since I waited for ever to get my ultra sound in chillicothe they gave me like 5 pages of ultra sound pictures ;) ha

well today I got a little bit worried because i lost a little bit of my mucus plug so I called my doctor, and they squeezed an appt. in for me today, and they checked everything out and everything is okay, so I can stop freaking out, and Peytons heat beat was 157 today :) and she is kicking like crazy :)

soo... a week ago my doctor called me and told me that they were looking over my latest ultra sound pictures and there was a shadow on the ventrical of the heart and they set me up an appt. for today at three to go to Ohio state university to get a level 2 ultra sound done to check it out. so I was worried but I just prayed and left it in gods hands and doing that things turned out for the best :) my ultra sound today they said that it is just extra calcium on the heart and they don't know how or why it's there but it wont effect the baby. It was such a relief to hear him say that, but her heart beat was 154 today :) and she is getting bigger and stronger then ever, I lover her so much :) and in the ultra sound me my mom and floyd got to see her face and she has my exact nose and floyds ears :) today makes me 23 weeks and 2 days :)

Today makes me 25 weeks :) ... and I had my doc appt. today all went well I measured right on target at 25 - and she was kicking the whole time he had the doppler on my belly ha, her heart beat was 152 today :) and here in one month is my baby shower. may 10th I can't wait ... then not much longer until Peyton arrives :)

So yesterday made me 7 months :) and I had to get my sugar test done :( it was sooo nastty I had to drink the orange kind and I bout threw up, but I haven't gotten my results back yet. so I hope I pass it and don't have to go back and drink more of that nastyy stuff. I only have 83 days to go :) I am soo excited and my baby shower is right around the corner, nest weekend may 10th :) I can't wait :)

so today was was doctors appt. which makes me 29 weeks :) one more week until I am 7 1/2 months woo whoo. but everything went great I weigh 123 lbs now... so I've gained like 25 lbs so far. but it's all worth it :) this sat- is my baby shower I will be sure to get plenty of pictures up :)

Sat May 10th was my baby shower, at scioto trails, I had a really good turn out and I got lots of things for peyton Rhiley, which makes me all the more excited for her to get here, my next doctors appt. is this monday 5-19-08 I'll be sure to update on how it goes. I am veryyy glad that I am in my third trimester and I go every 2 weeks now :) ... I am veryy excited for June 5th to come :) ... thats when I get my maternity photos done, so I hope she doesn't come before then lol.- today makes me thirty- weeks even :) 7 1/2 monthss babyy yaaa :)

Today I am 31 weeks pregnant :) and I had my 31 week check up, everything went great I am up to 127 lbs now- so I have gained just about 30 lbs. ha which is quite a bit. but it's all for a good cause :) ... I measured right on track today 31 weeks, and her heart beat was 156 :) but I have had a cold for the past 3 weeks and medicine don't seem to be helping any. hopefully it will pass. - =) my little girl will be here soon =)

I am 31 weeks and 3 days today :) .. and I finally went and got signed up on my wic today, ha something that I have been needing to do and have been putting off for the past couple of months :).. I weighed 128 today, and they check my iron which was also good, it was like 12 which I don't know what it means but the lady said it was good. -still have my cold, but it's gotten a lot better thank goodness ;) only four more days until I am 8 months pregnant I can't wait to meet my little girl :)

Yesterday I had my 33 week check up, and they checked to see if I was dialted and I wasn't, and he said that she was head down :) ... and I measured right on track at 33 weeks, I've gained 6 lbs in the past two weeks I am now up to 133, peytons heart beat was 156,- lately I've been a giant puff ball my whole body has been swelling up pretty bad. I go back in two weeks and they will give my my strep b test, and check my cervix, then I start going every week :)

we went and had our maternity pics done at mears photography yesterday, and we ahd a lot of fun I can't wait to see how they turned out :) ... we got back on the 11th :P to proof them yaa can't wait :) I got back to the doctor on the 16th I'll keep updates :)

I went to the doctor yesterday, and I have gained 6 lbs in the past 2 weeks, I am now up to 139 wow, I haven't dialated any yet, but I am 50 % effaced, and I have been walking my butt off, but she will come when she is ready :)... I can't wait until she gets here, my guess is that she will be here in about two weeks :) lets hope. we finally got her nursery completely finished and it looks amazing, the only thing it is missing is her :) I also got my strep B test done yesterday I will get the results this Tues at 8:15 in the morning which is my next doctors appt. :)

today I am 36 weeks and 1 day :) ... I had my 36 week check up ... and I have gained 4 lbs in the past week I am now up to 143.. I am finally 1 cm dilated, and I am still 50 % effaced, her heart beat was 140 and my doctor said that she weighs about 6 1/2 lbs :) she is almost here I cannot wait to meet her and to see her beautiful face and to hold her in my arms ;)

yesterday I had to go out to the hospital cuz I was having contractions, and they weren't active enough to keep me so they sent me home, and then scheduled me another doc appt. for today. at 10:45 they then checked me and I was 2 cm dilated and 80 % effaced,- then they went to check me again and I was 2 cm dilated and 90 % effaced, in an hour and a half I changed for 80 % to 90 % :) and I have been having contraction for the past 24 hours. but thay arent strong enough to throw me into full labor.... but they said that my water can break at any time .. but they sent me back home today and said that if my water breaks come back or if my contractions get stronger come back, yaaa I am soo excited ) she is going to be here soon ;) and I am so excited ;)

yesterday I had my weekly doc appt. and I am now 3 cm dilated and 90 % effaced, and her heart beat was 160 I had doc. reagen and I absolutly loooveee her... but yesterday I weighed 148, and I gained like 4 lbs from just holding water, my legs and feet are soo swollen they look horrible but I asked the doctor yesterday if it was normal and she said that it it from where the baby is so low and my body is soo little my bottom half is'nt getting good blood flow and it is making them swell really bad, and nothing helps I have been propping them up, soaking them and everything, nothing seems to work. ... but dr. reagen said that she is scheduling me an appt for a week but she doubts that I will make it tomy next appt. - so I am really hoping for a fire cracker baby : and having her on the 4th that would be cute. yesterday my sister inlaw had a fish fry and we were all setting off fire works, and I went to let off a bottle rocket and it didn't shoot off and leave my hand like it was suppossed to, so I tried to throw it down and move away fast from it, so it wouldn't hurt me or peyton, and my shoes were really wet and slick, and I slipped and fell in the gravel really hard on my stomach, I called my doctor and they wanted me to come out to monitor things, but I had no way of getting out there and she was moving fine and everyone told me I was okay, so I am calling my doctor here in a lil; bit to see if they can squeeze me in today to check things out. I think that it scared me more then anything. Peyton Rhiley Detty I love you and I cannot wait 14 more days to see your beautiful face ;)

UPDATE:

sooo yesterday I went to the doctor, and I was 38 weeks and 2 days and I was measuring 39 weeks, so they scheduled me an ultra sound for tomorrow at 1:45 I cannot wait to see my lil girl one more time before I have her. but my blood pressure was high so they had to bring me upstairs and draw blood and monitor me, and I have had horrible swelling for the past two weeks, and they sent me home and I had to do a 24 hour urine test and then bring it back today, It was to test my protine I am pretty sure. but I weighed 148 and her heart beat was 156. my next doctors appt. is on monday and they are then making me my date for next week to be induced, so our little girl peyton rhiley detty will be here veryy soon:) .. but I am hoping to go into labor or my water break before then becuase it kind of takes away from the surprise if they indice you, but how ever she makes her entrance in the world I don't mind as long as she gets here :)... I am still 3 cm dilated and 90 % effaced as of yesterday so hopefully I start making some pregress soon :) and I got my maternity picture back today they are from 34 weeks :) they are amazing

today I had my ultra sound, and her heart beat was 132, and she is the chunkiest lil girl she has my big lips and nose, and both mommy and daddys chunky cheeks, and daddys big ears, she is weighing right now 7 1/2 lbs and I still have a week to go lol. I cannot wait to meet my daughtor and hold her and hear her first cry, seeing her today just playing with her umbilical chord and puckering up her lips makes me all the more excited :)

*UPDATE*

I had my doctor appt yesterday, and I was 39 weeks exactly, and I weighed 155, her heart beat was 160. they hooked me up to the monitors and I was having contractions, and they striped my membranes again, to try to make some more progress becuase I was still 3 cm dialated and 90 % effaced, so after he stripped my membranes I was 100 % effaced, and last night was aweful I got about an hour of sleep all together because I was having contractions and couldn't sleep what so ever because I was so uncomfortable. So the big news is ;) I am getting induced tomorrow at 9:00 A.m and I cannot wait I am so excited to hold my baby girl in my arms and hear her cry for the first time, peyton rhiley detty I love you :)

I AM NOW A MOMMY :)

labor:

I was scheduled to be induced at 9 o'clock in the morning on wensday july 16th, and I went in and they didn't get my patocin started until noon, and I was already 4 cm dialted and still not feeling anything at that point, then the doctor came in and broke my water at 1 o'clock and I instantly started feeling contractions, and then once the back labor started I thought that I was literally going to die, and I toughed the back labor out for four hours becuase everyone told me that this is my first baby and I don't want to get the epidural too soon becuase It will wear off before I had her, but I couldn't take it anymore so I got the epidural at 5 cm, and that was the best choice I have ever made in my life, and I had instant relief and felt soo much better. then in one hour after the epidural, the doctor came in to check me and I told her that for some reason I am feeling so much pressure like I have to push, and she check me and I was completly dialted to 10 + 2 ... and she said "well that why you feel like you have to push, lets get this baby out"... and me and my husband and family just looked at each other because my labor went to fast, -so I started pushing around 5:30 p.m and out baby girl was born at 6:19 p.m
so I had a veryquick labor of about 5 hours.
-once she was born my husband took the camera out to show his family and everyone started balling crying becuase she is so beautiful.

-I am now a mommy and it is the greatest feeling in the entire world I love my daughter more then anything :)

Peytons umbilical cord fell off on july 27th :) her next check up is the day after my husband and I's 1 year anniversery Aug-26th :) Peyton is getitng so big so fast =) i love you babyy girl ;)

On friday we had to take Peyton to the doctor because she had this gunk in her eye and they kept watering really bad, and she was really fussy, and it ends up that she has clogged tear ducts and we have to keep massaging her tear ducts so help her eyes, I have never heard of clogged tear ducts before but my husband had them when he was a baby. on top of that she had thrash mouth and we've been haveing to give her an oral antibiotic, but when we took her to the doctor she weighed 7 lbs15 oz. she is a lil chunker butt, she weighed 6 lbs 14 oz at her first check up on july 22nd. - so in 10 days she gained 1 lb and 1 oz =)
