april 2nd

Went to the doctor today.. everything seems to be ok.. baby is head down and very active. doc thought I was only 35 weeks along instead of 37.. then realized that I only have 18 more days... oopps...However she didnt tell me if my cervix was thinning out or not.. .. Found out last week I have gestational diabetes.So today they put me on the stress test machine to see how the baby is doing... she was dancing in there.. wouldnt sit still .It was funny. but she is good... I go for my 2 hour diabetes consultation tomorrow.... I sure wish this baby would get here. my back is killing me. I know she isnt due until the 20th.. but my husband cant take off from work then because 2 people are on vacation and there is no one to come in and cover for him. ... I need him to be there.. hopefully she'll come before that.. like next week..hope everyone else is doing ok.

april 6th

38 weeks today! I went to the doctor today..2nd time this week.. She hasnt checked by cervix on 2 1/2 weeks.. I am so anxious and I want to know if Im starting to dialate.. Im having really bad cramps in my back and sometimes in my pelvic. doc says its normal when I told her I was having pains... Ive also had a terrible migraine for 3 days now.. lost my appetite also.. Im also on a strict diet now for the gestational diabetes.. I feel like I cant eat anything.. As long as my little one comes out healthy thats all that matters.. Just hopefully she comes soon.

April 7th

So Today we had a family baby shower that was quite fun I must say.. Got lots of wonderful stuff for the baby.. She better be a girl is all I have to say.. lol.. anyways.. I am completely ready for her to be here. Brandon is too.. SO I came home at 5pm after the shower, folded all my laundry, washed to baby's bedding, washed our own sheets, vacuumed and shampooed the entire upstairs (both bedrooms and hallway), put all the bedding on the crib and still nothing.. You would think this would give this baby motivation to come already.. GEEZ.. Im just taking a little break before I clean the bathrooms... Did I mention its pouring outside.. Crazy!

April 11th

I went to the doc today.. She still didnt do a cervic exam.. Hooked me up to the non-stress test machine again.. after a few minutes I realized that I was having contractions.. one every 10 minutes.. and the babys heartrate went from 130 to 160.. The doc said its probably Braxton Hicks. This is the first day they have been so intense. Anyways, doc was confused once again about how far along I am.. So I had to remind her of my due date.. So I still have no idea if Im dilated or effaced or what.
