Saturday, 14 June It kind of stinks I know. I've been there 3 times before (5,6, and 7 days over). A friend told me one thing that helped me a little-that God is putting finishing touches, like maybe longer eyelashes on the baby. I am due in about 5 weeks and with symptoms I've never had at this stage (hips, knees, feet feel like pins and needles, swelling, dizzy and nauseous a bit-I usually am heavy and have more energy).....I am sooooooooo hoping I don't go there again. I empathize. Hang in there. You won't be pregnant forever as much as it feels like you will sometimes. The cool thing is no matter what your body is or isn't doing, you could be in labor in the next hour. That always helped me too. I'll hush now. Just wanted to empathize.

Thursday, 12 June Things went great! Labor was about 5hrs but was wicked intense and the pain was horrible but totally worth it. Cayden was born Tuesday, June 10th at 4:06am and weighed 7lbs and was 21in long. preggowithbaby2 -
Thursday, 12 June I just got the message you left. Yes it was very much true. I had sex and then lost my plug and then had sex again and my water started to leak. I would keep up with the sex, That was the only thing that worked for me. Good Luck, I hope everything works out and your baby comes soon. angelmum -

Wednesday, 11 June The bubbles are very strange to me, and lots of cramping today no cramping which is nice but it also disappoints me as I want something to happen. Good luck to you I hope our babies both come soon, can't stand bein fat anymore lol afiyasmomma -
Wednesday, 11 June the "hard as a rock feeling" is braxton-hicks contractions. at least that's what my midwife told me. noodle -
Wednesday, 11 June The bloody show is always sign of imminent labor for me, unless preceeded by intercourse or an exam. But that's me-everyone is different. Hang in there. tto -
Tuesday, 10 June Yes that helps thanks. I'm pretty sure I didn't loose mine, then. Andais -
Tuesday, 10 June Ya, they keep changing the dates on me too...although by their computer they say my due date isn't until the 17th (a whole week off) so they won't consider induction until the week of the 25th. OMG, she's 9 lbs now, just imagine...
I just woke up feeling seriously sick to my stomach, haven't thrown up, but def feel like it...we'll see.
Talk later.

Tuesday, 10 June Thanks a ton! With my first, it came on pretty quickly and intense too so maybe it'll be just like that... Who knows! With my first, I hadn't had ANY contractions or any sign that anything was happening and then I woke up to pee and my water broke. After that I had contractions every 2mins and they lasted about 1min each. I got an epidural so I plan on getting one this time too. Hopefully it helps. I still felt everything last time, but it was more tolerable than it was before I got the epidural! Niknaks -
Monday, 9 June You should try see your normal doc if possible - it's so easy for others to say what's what when they don't have your entire history in mind! My gynae told me this morning that as long as the cervix is *ripe* then you can be induced and they can't refuse. it might be different over there, but the principle remains the same, I'm sure! My doctor said she can induce tomorrow night or I can let it happen on its own, but she told me she's taking a long weekend from Friday on... and I don't particularly wanna end up with some OTHER doctor in labour! Oh but she mentioned that if you induce on the dot 40 weeks it's the best time - sooner rather than too much later, she said

Monday, 9 June When do you see your midwife/ doctor again? Should be this week, right? I just got back from mine...she said if I don't go into labour by Wednesday she can induce me if I want. I figured we might as well get it done, since the NEXT time we see the doc will only be NEXT WEEK TUESDAY erk. Oh she also said my baby has turned, I'm so thankful - I was stressing about the posterior position and all the instruments they might have had to use. Niknaks -
Monday, 9 June Awww shame... I know exactly how you feel! It's like if I go out, people will see I'm still pregnant and ask "haven't you had the baby yet" ;) It's true about family - they drive one insane and seem to think it's ok! I just moved my 40 week appointment from tomorrow to this morning so I'm hoping the doctor can give me some advice. Apparently a posterior baby can cause a long labour like this! Don't worry, only a few more days! aidensmama -
Saturday, 7 June I definitely know what you mean with the crankiness!! It's like you just want to yell at someone and it's so hard not to. I was so irritated today...after my appt. they sent me to the hospital to monitor my BP and my boyfriend had the nerve to sit there and act like he has it hella bad or something...WTF?! I wanted to knock him out!! ladylinksbaby -

Thursday, 5 June I'm with you! I've tried lots of things but still...nothing. So I kinda gave up on everything but walking so I take a 3/4 mile walk everyday and just pray that things get going soon.
