Today I found out that I'm going to have a baby of my own! My husband and I have been trying now for about 3 1/2 years...and had finally given up after 3 failed IUI attempts. We had just finished going through the process to become a Foster Family, and were going to be getting our first child in about 3 months when WALA! Baby in belly. We've decided to put off the foster parenting for a few years but still very much would still like to do it.
My 15 year old step son was so happy that he's FINALLY going to have a baby sister or brother!

Jan. 26th-
Today we found out that we are going to be the proud parents of a baby girl! We're SO excited!
Joe and I both felt like it was a girl, but for some reason I just KNEW that when we went in it was going to be a boy...I guess I was wrong. :)
I think now that I know what the gender is...the next half of the pregnancy will go alot faster for me...atleast I hope so!

Hi, Your little girl is so cute. You should try not to worry about what she is and is not doing as they all do things at there own pace. My boy is 20 weeks tomorrow and it has only been in the last 2 to 3 weeks that he has started to grab things and try to sit up they all get there it just that some are faster than others. xx

He is doing well. We are dying for these two teeth to pop through though. It is heart breaking to hear him cry when it does bother him. Poor kid! We can see the start of white on one of them so maybe soon. But I thought it would be soon when I saw the teeth bumps 3 weeks ago, LOL! Have no idea how much he weighs, I'd guess around 13 or 14. She is really beautiful now with that round face and big eyes!

its going to definately be a tearful night. ive seen pics of myself, and its quite bad, but i dont feel like i need to impress anyone. when we set a wedding date, then i might be like uhhh :/ and then work on it lol. olivia doesnt nap >:[ she sleeps about 10 hrs at night though. when she has a growth spurt, she sleep constantly. its great hahah

heh thank you :] how often does she sleep? i dont get why olivia doesnt sleep. shes a BABY! SLEEP!?! ugh lol. im so stoked that i can do olivias room now. i havent sleeped in a different room than her. i hope ill wake up from the monitor :/ what is the program? i cant commit to anything like that lol. unless i realllly want to. i have to be like in tears of wanting to do something so badly lol.

heh. what kind did you get? olivia almost flew out of the stupid thing yesterday. now im really nervous to put her in it. she likes bouncing and stuff, but who would have thought she would almost fly out. she was draped over the thing. were doing well. we get the house oct 1st if inspection goes well friday.

wtf?? everyone ive talked to got the diarrhea oral shot! olivia didnt :/ and shes been having awful diarrhea the past 3 days..but thats from teething. but still! >:[ she had 4 but one was combined. they were like "okay its only 3" then they popped back in and said "sorry, were adding one more ouchie. 4 ouchies" (ouchies? i guess theyre used to little kids in a pediatricians office lol) and then they were like, would you want to do 5? and i was like WTF? no. they were like "okay, well do those in 2 more months then" yeah thats right! haha. i got teary but she was across the room. it was just cus i saw her jump. :[ oh well. ahhh i cant wait til christmas! :D

I hate to break it to ya, but there is no keeping her calm during the shots.

I was in tears. Just keep talking to her and rubbing her. You can also, well I did, picked her up and loved on her before they gave her the other two shots. Once I loved her and hugged on her she stopped crying (when it was all over).

Hi-I slipped Ragan a little tylenol about 30 min before and then kept her on a regular schedule for 24 hrs they usually will perk up in about 2 days so I think you will be fine by sunday you will be surprised they only cry when it happens and then if you scoop them up and hold them they calm down immediately!! Good luck!

thats so crazy! haha. i cant imagine olivia 15 pounds. weird to think shes gained 4 pounds though. crazy how one pound matters at this point, and to us..we fluctuate pound to pound daily lol
