Baby's Conversation with God

A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"
God said, "Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."
The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy."
God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy."
Again the child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"
God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will tea ch you how to speak."
"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"
God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."
"Who will protect me?"
God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life."
"But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore."
God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you."
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."
God said, "You will simply call her, "Mommy."

9/24/08 WEEK 4 - I had my first appointment with a new doctor! He gave me a PAP, felt my uterus, said it was soft but that that is normal for only 4 weeks, gave me a different brand of prenatals than what I am taking, and scheduled me for another appt on 10/2 [next week!]. He will do an ultrasound next week. Yes! I did not get an ultrasound this early with Faith. I also took the blood pregnancy test and the results will be in tomorrow b4 2pm.

9/26/08 - I got the call back from my doc. My progesterone and hcg levels are on target! My hcg level was 509. The fatigue kicked in yesterday. I fell asleep at my desk then went home and slept from 8:30pm to 7am.

Week 5 - I had an ultrasound! All is well. He showed me the fetal sac and my ovaries. I ovulated from my left ovary. It was way bigger than the right one because it is assisting with providing blood, oxygen, and nutrients to my baby. It was amazing and such a stress relieving sight to see. I thank God that all is going well so far.

Week 6 - Doc's office called with my hcg and progesterone level results from my appointment on 10/2. My hcg level was 9,011 and my progesterone level was 17.0. She said it is perfect and on track! Yes! This is great news cuz I have been feeling a bit crappy beginning the day I turned 6 weeks.

lol No i dont regret it..lol.. I remeber those days but i was just really sleepy and nauseous thats a bout it i threw up twice but that was really it... No im starting to sleep less. My back is starting to hurt buti mangage well. I guess cuz i cant sit still and i dont like the feeling of being lazy & tired. so i try to keep occupied. Headaches are on and off but now im tired of being pregnant im tired of my ribs being attacked...lol

That's the best place to be. Try not to stress. That's horrible about your friend. I am so anxious to be pregnant that I do sometimes forget about the horrors that can come when you finally do and then suffer a lost. So I'm glad you are starting to feel sick, that's a good sign. I'm feeling pretty good, the pain from the procedure was minimal. But of course I have a very high pain tolerance. I'm hoping everything goes well and I can post good news!

Feeling okay. Trying to go with the flow. The ultrasound went well this morning. I got two follies growing at a good pace. I don't think you are complaining. I hope you only have a short bout with the sickness. But I'm sure you know the routine. Morning sickness is a good thing according to all the books. But what do they know, right?

ha ha ha! yea, i was fitting in to six but now i'm more like 8. i'm very short.. 5' 3". well - i still gotta go to the gym and work out. i was already doing that previously, and the only other symptom intervening is being sleepy. As soon as i get home and turn the tv on, i'm bound to take a long long nap. Ideally, going to the gym after work is best and than taking a nap afterwards i dont feel as bad b/c i've exercised. so, that's another challenge for me. he he! with this appetite, i should be goign to the gym daily. ha ! i dont wanna end up being a size 12 after i have my baby!

That is great that your doctor is in the habit of watching each patient closely!! I think that is truly a wonderful doctor!! I think it is just natural that us mothers worry!! It only make you a good mother. I understand how you feel I am always worried that their might be something wrong that I do not know about. Do you have a doppler?? That might help with your fears. You would be able to hear baby everyday. I do not have one but I have heard alot of the ladies on here talking about them!!

hi. well - i'm not petite at all. i'm thick! i'm usually between a size 6 or 7. but, of course a lil bit before i got pregnant i had already gained about 5 lbs...and now i dont even want to go on the scale. i'm too scared of the results. i might be a size 8 already! oh well! thx for the advise though. i've been meaning to go shopping but since i do'nt know what to do - i keep postponing it. lol. thanks.sorry to hear about your stomach being upset. I'd hate to be feeling that way...especially when it comes to coming to work. i haven't told anyone yet. i wanna wait til i'm either 12 wks or til im showing. which ever one comes first .lol

I know how you feel, it seems like when I turned 6 weeks symptoms started coming too!! I feel very tierd, nauseaus, and upset tummy, I haven't thrown up and don't think I will, just feel like really hungover all the time lol!! I never know what to eat, I like one thing one day then the next day think of the same food and I feel sick lol! I feel much sicker in this pregnancy than I did with Mitchell, but then again I was working when I was pregnant with Mitchell so maybe I just didn't notice it as much?? I can't wait untill the 2nd trimester!!
