My Birth Story...

Oh how my life has changed!!!

Here's some back story to get you started. As some of you all know I was going to have to have a C-section because my little girl was breech and would not flip. Going into it I was a little depressed because I had always wanted to have her vaginaly and no one actually expects to deliver that way.... I had an appointment for monday August 1st to schedule the C-Section for sometime that next week....

Hayden-Saylor had other plans.....

My Labor was pretty easy I guess... I have a very uptight Dr and he told me very seriously "DON'T Call me until your contractions are 4 minutes apart for at least an hour."

SOOOOO here's how it all went down... Friday I went to the hospital cuz i thought my water had broke... I had a constant "leak" and I thought there's no way I'm thiss good at peeing my pants.... So I had the Hospital check it out....they told me it hadn't broken and to go home. (I know it did, but it was just a trickle so no worries right? wrong!) I had a Dr. Appointment on Monday and that was when we were planning to schedule the C-Section So I was just going to wait till then... Well Saturday night I started having contractions at 9pm and timed them for an hour. I even tried to get in the tub to slow them down or even stop them. I was NOT ready to have this little girl yet! The bath only made them worse SO I called My Dr, he told me to goto hospital to be monitored. By the time I got there at 11pm they were a little less than 2 minutes apart and getting worse!!!! The staff was getting ready to put me on monitors and I told them she was breech. They were a little surprised and asked if I knew and if I was planning to have a c-section. I said yeah, I was going to schedule in a couple of days.... and they were like "we better hurry then!" We will call your Dr. and start getting you prepped for surgery!

As they Prepped me they did the Epidural, and all the scary stuff that goes with it. Dennis wasn't able to be in the operating room while they prepped me but they brought him in just as they were making the first incision... He cam in the room at my feet and had to walk past the Dr working. As he sat down at my head, with a very pale look on his face, he said "I just saw all your insides...." Poor thing.... Everything was going well and My Dr. Was actually training an Intern on how to do everything so we got to hear step by step what was going on. They asked Dennis if he wanted to see them pull her out and he said yeah. When the time came he stood up and looked over the curtain. I didn't get to see them pull her out but the look on his face was enough for me!!!! It was PRICELESS!!! It was a mixture of horror, awe, love and excitement that I really can'r describe. All i could think was I want to hear her... I want to hear her little cry... and we did... She made the cutest little cry/squeek in the world and I just started to cry. They cleaned her up and brought her over to Dennis to hold while they stiched me up. He got all teary eyed and I saw something in him change and click. He has this whole new sparkle in his eye that you just know he fell head over heels for her the second he saw her.

He asked me what I wanted to name her and I said "I'm feelin' Hayden what are you feelin'?" He said "I'm feelin Saylor.... Well I guess it will be both then!" and her middle name will be Noel.

Hayden~Saylor Noel Conroy was Born @ 1:21am on Sunday July 29th 2007.

She weighed 6lbs. 4oz. and was 19" Long.

She is the most beautiful little monkey in the world and has captured 2 hearts so deeply that our love will only get stronger and stronger by the second for her!

Welcome to the world Little Baby Girl!

I started having contractions at 9pm, got to the Hosp. at 11 pm and they preped me for the C-Section and My little monkey was born at 1:21am so I guess labor and Delivery was all of about 4 1/2 hours... looking back I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. It was perfect, my little girl is PERFECTand my life.... has become PERFECT!!!!

Ok, enough is enough! Can I get any BIGGER?!?!?! 37 weeks and I look like an M&M!!! LOL!!! e had an Ultrasound yesterday, She's till breech... Comfy where she's at I guess. I really wish she would flip and drop soon. I really don't want to have a C-section. Everyone chant ~"Flip, Baby FLip!!!"

So, he comes home from work last night and were having dinner... So randomly he says "I need to learn how to make cupcakes." I get totally confused (he's a vegan....) why does he need to know how to make cupcakes? and he replies... "In case she want's cupcakes someday I need to know how to make them for her..." How adorable is THAT?!?!?!? THEN when we woke up this morning almost the first words out of his mouth are... "You need to teach me how to braid hair" I told him that won't be for a few yeares and he said he just wants to be prepared.... It's AmAzInG How expecting a little girl has shown me a side of him that is so intimate and sweet and pure and freakin' adorable!!!!! Anyday now we will be kissing her little face and tellin'g her "Daddy's gonna make you the best cupcakes in the world!"

ok so here I am at 34 weeks..... I wonder why I am still carrying her so flippin' high... I can't breath kid! come on down!

Our Story...

.... SO there's this guy..... well it happened by accident and my life has been completely turned upsidedown!!! He went from being the cousin of a friend of mine to, a friend of mine, to my roommate, to my BEST FRIEND to holy cow your in love with me? woah! I think I might love you too!! to OMG I can't live without you... that's it in a nutshell! I have never laughed harder, felt more loved or more in love with someone. He isn't who I would have picked out of a crowd and now he's the only one I see in it. And now were having a baby!

Our little monkey is due on Aug. 9th and we couldn't be more excited!!! I Love you Dennis! I can't wait to Marry you!
