Hey,i have been on this site since i was pregnant back in january 07. That pregnancy ended before it really got started as i suffered an ectopic. This site gave me the support i needed to get over it and i have made some great friends.I have a beautiful daughter Grace who is 7 yrs old and a wonderful husband Andrew. i got pregnant very soon after my ectopic. My pregnancy went very well only suffering light backache and very bad heartburn!!! My beautiful baby boy Noah was born on the 11th of december 07 at 11.41am,weighing 8lb 1oz.
Noahs achievements....
8th jan 08-Noah is sleeping 11.30 till 6.30.
13th jan 08-Noah smiled for the first time(at his nanny!!)
4th march 08-Noah is now going to bed at 7pm,we wake him at 10pm for a feed then he sleeps till about 7am
11th june 08-Noah finally rolled over!!!
20th june 08-Noah is sitting up with a little suport,he thinks its funny to push himself back!!!
11th may 08-Noahs bottom front teeth are appearing!! he can sit up for a few mins now and he also started solids for the first time. Just a little baby rice,loves it!!
12th june 08-Noah is enjoying 3 meals a day now. Loves all veggies and fruit. Will try some meat soon.
18th july 08-Noah is able to go from sitting up to laying down and moving around the floor but not crawling yet but getting very frustrated!!!
26th july 08-Noah can crawl,yippee!!!! commando crawling,dragging himself along the floor but he can get to anything he wants very fast!!!
Ok,so somewhere in between all that 3 more teeth started to come through. Its five teeth now!! Noah is coping really well his teeth coming. he dribbles alot and chews everything!!!
29th july 08-Noah pulled himself up to the sofa(he has done it in the bath but cant remember date!)
30th july 08-Noah walked along the sofa holding on!!
9th august 08-Waved at daddy,doesnt seem to wanna wave at mummy only daddy. Not sure what he did to deserve that,lol!!!
19th august-Noah now has 2 bottom teeth,4 teeth on top!! Noah has been waving lots and im teaching him to clap. Noah is also trying to walk from one thing to another but falls over. I really dont think its gonna be long till he walks,scary!!!!

I think that he's eating too much milk and doesn't realize when he's full, so then he spits up what doesn't fit. try feeding him less and put some cereal in his bottle :-)

I know what u mean emily is a big porker aswell, i gave her a spoonful of babyrice the other day, she loved it but i dont think she is ready to be weaned as it gave her tummy ache.
Emily still has feeds every 4 hours during the day 6oz, she has her last feed at 7 and is asleep by 7.30 and goes through till 7am!so shes on bout 4 feeds a day.
Does Noah still feed in the night then? xx

Yer emily has her last feed at 7.30pm shes asleep by 8 and she wakes between 6am and 7am for a feed. Its so nice to get a full night sleep again.
She has just got over her first cold but i think she is teething allready, being very grumpy and really dribbley.
Noah is so cute, getting very big.

The recommendation for introducing solids in Canada is also 6 months. Their digestive systems aren't mature enough to handle real food until they are about 6 months. My MIL is a paediatric GI nurse and she is pretty adement that the earlier you introduce foods the more problems the kids can have later in life with their systems. The nutritionist she works with mentioned the same thing although she did indicate that to give the babes cereal at 5 months (rice cereal only) would be perfectly acceptable but never in the bottles! Try your best to hold out.

Hiya hun, with the weaning, I started with my daughter at 17 weeks (which seemed about right for her). I guess i'll see how this one gets along but anticipate starting around the same time. Can't see me holding out til 6 months, you have to progress so quickly if you wait that long.

lilly-maes the same she sleeps good through the night too but is up quite a bit in the day i think when shes wanting 9 oz i will try her coz shes on 7oz at the mo, where all doing great my hemaroids have gone thank god lol x

Hi, over here they recommend waiting till 4 mos to start them on rice cereal. I started Wes at 3 1/2 because he seemed starving. Hes 4 1/2 now and Im giving it to him 2 times a day. Im thinking about adding some vegies next week because he doesnt seem to be crazy about the cereal.

hiya not spoke in ages how are u and ur little babs doing? im going to start lilly at 3 months/4months the health visiter is actually throwing a weaning party well it didnt do my other two boys any harm they was on rusk at 4 months coz they where born big any way they say as long as they can sit up a bit and hold there head up its okay its stupid all these laws or guidelines cuming out isnt it?xxx

I figure once he goes up to 6 ounces he'll skip that 1am feeding and sleep straight through. I'd love if he'd sleep until like 7am, but when I go back to work we'll be getting up at 5am, so it kinda works out well that he gets up at that time.

Hey! Thanks for the comment, makes me feel much better!! He threw up quite a bit with his last bottle, so I am going to put a stop to him pigging out on 6 ounce bottles! We'll go back down to 5 oz. Jonah is sleep well at night too, he sleeps from 9pm until 5am, and only wakes up at 1am to eat. So not too bad! Your little boy is soooo cute!!! ;o)

hi, i know what u mean, i love holding him, but i just struggle to get anything done, im up for about 4 hours some day before i even manage to get breakfast!! i am trying to get him to lie in his chair or in his crib more, with varying degrees of success, the problem is, even now he still sounds very 'mucousy', the dr gave us some nasal drops for him to help clear it, but when he lies down the poor thing starts snorting, and snuffling, he is just more comfy over my shoulder, and even tho now he is a lot better, he just used to being held now i think.

Wow mexico very lovely. we got villa in menorca for a week, emily will be 9 months old so should be an interestingexperience lol!
Emily had her jabs i got more upset then she did.
