weHello, my name is Amy and i've been married to my best friend for 4 1/2 years. We've been trying to have a baby ever since we got married, but i found out about a year ago that i have pcos. We've been to a fertility speciallist and nothing is wrong with Joe it's all me. But we figured that any way. Hopefully we'll get preggers soon.
March 14th, 2008
HELP!! Ok. My last AF was Jan. 8th. A week later i started getting very neauseated, and tired. The next week water tasted metalic, but that's all that tasted that way. My breast got a little tender but too bad. Took a HPT but got a BFN. Then started gettin mild headachs. The neausea only lasted for about three weeks. head aches lasted about two weeks. two weeks later i took another HPT. got another BFN. Went to the doc. All they did was a pee test and again BFN. Doc said come back after you have missed two AF, so I called back today to make another appointment. Well my doc is gonna be out of the office next week and she cant see me until the 24th. Well I made an appointment with one of the other docs in the office b/c i know i really need the blood test. I dont know why they didnt just do it the last time. GRRRRRRR!!!! Well any way i'm guessing if i am preggo im about 9 weeks. Last night when putting on my pj's i noticed my left nipple was a little wet. Well i squeezed my breast a little and a drop of clear fluid leaked out. What is going on? Does anybody know? Is this all in my head?

ok so i went to the doc today. They did a blood test and also checked my hormonal levels. First of all I got a BFN and then he said that my testosterone was still a little too high. He uped my Metformin to three tablets a day. Then I have to take Prometrium again to get my monthly started back, and then I'm trying Clomid again this time.
March 28th
well i finally got AF yesterday, but only after takeing Prometrium. Trying CLomid again this time. Start takeing it Monday. Doctor said if nothing happens this time I can do two clomid a day next month.
April 12th
I actually ov on the 9th. I'm so excited. I have pcos so I rarely ever ov. Wish us luck, and Baby dust to everyone.
April 24th
AF was due yesterday but didn't show. Temp is still up so i guess she's not showing today. My 3 day migrain is finally gone and i feel much much better. I've finally stoped cramping a couple days ago. Was feeling nauseated but i think it was b/c of the migrain. If AF doesn't show by tomorrow i will test. Been putting it off. Afraid i'll see that BFN....
April 25th
Well today is 16 dpo. Just took a hpt and got a BFN..... My temp went way up this morning, hopefully it'll go up some more tomorrow morning. I think i will test again as soon as i get up tomorrow. Can you go 16 dpo without AF showing up? HELP!! I'm so confused.....
April 27th
Well today is 18 dpo. Still no AF. Still charting my temp, and it is steadily going up. But i'm still gettin BFN's. If AF doesn't show by next week i'll test again. If i stil get BFN i'll go see my doc.
May 1st
tested today BFN... at 22 dpo... i really thought this was it.. i guess im makeing an apointment for the doc. in the morning... DH and i have been trying for 4 1/2 years now... Every month we've been let down... We've really put our lives on hold TTC... We've decided that this was our last try... Time to get back to us...
May 14th
Well i thought i wasw done with this place and TTC, but AF decided to show on her own with out the help of prometrium, so hubby thought it might be a sign for us not to give up just yet... So, we are trying again one more cycle. I am now on cd 2. so we will see what happens... Also i'll be useing 50 mg CLomid this time.. Last time i saw the doc. She said i could use 150 mg this time but i think im just gonna stick to the 50 mg since i did O last cycle... So i figure 50 must be working... Please keep us in your prayers... Baby Dust to everyone...
May 17th
Ok well this is cd5 first day of clomid for this cycle... about the 100th time i've used clomid.... I found a new doctor that will be testing LH, estrogen and everything. and will be doing US's so we will know for sure when i ovulate this time b/c like i said a couple of days ago.. this will be our last try... I'm just tired of the doctors, meds., OPK's, and BFN's.. 4 1/2 years is realy gettin to me... I was ready to stop last month, but AF came on her own without Prometrium... (first time in over a year) so DH thought it was a sign for us not to give up and wanted to give it one more try... We are still planning on becomeing foster parents though, and i am sooooo excited about that....
Anybody wanna look at my chart and tell me what you think.

Your story about the co-worker reminded me about the time I had a miscarriage and *same exact situation* older female co-worker told me, "It just wasn't meant to be, God knows what he's doing, blah blah blah." Well God may know what he's doing but that is about the LAST thing someone wants to hear when they are going through a difficult heartbreaking situation. Hi Hun,
I've been reading your posts and just thought I would leave you a little note of encouragement......I to have PCOS and once I started clomid 50mg I ended up concieving on my 3rd cycle!!!! I now have the most beautiful 4 month old little girl who is the absolute light of my life!!!! This time we're going to try without the clomid and see what happens.
I guess what I'm trying to say is don't give up, stay positive and IT WILL happen when the time is right!!!!!! And all your hard work will have been completely worth it!!!! I know what it's like to see that BFN the heartache is the worst feeling but all that heartache is very quickly forgotten when you finally get that BFP!!!!!!!

Wow... that's gotta be tough. Hard to chart. Do you know the signs of ovulation? You may get some cramping and most women getting discharge...you know it's ovulation D if it's really wet and clear. If you don't get those signs, you may want to take your basil body temp daily and when it spike, that's when you're ovulating. Once you ovulate, you can test as early as 10 days later with a HPT. I always recommend First Response. They've worked the best for me.

How long are your cycles normally? or is there no normal? You definitely sound like your hormones are going nuts, you could be preg. My sister in law took HPT's for weeks and it didn't come positive till she was 9 weeks along...don't know why. Don't give up hope though. I have friends with PCO and they have gotten preg. Take a HPT and see what it says and def find a new doc!

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that most Dr's wont do a blood test till you get a BFP at home, just because if you;re not pregnant, your insurance company can and usually do refuse to pay for that blood test. So most Dr's want to help you out, so you dont have to pay a $75-$120 bill for no reason. A HPT is a little cheaper. But if you just dont like your Dr...then finding a new one would make things better for you in the long run. Take it from me.......I have been TTC for over 14 months, and had my tubes untied in March of 2007....you have to love your Dr. I have 3 OB dr's and a Infertility Dr. And I think I have had jsut about every test run on me, and they are alot of $!! That is ridiculous that your dr. won't give you a blood test!! It's a little lab work for crying out loud! I would look for a new dr or go to a place like Dr.s Care (don't know if you have that where you live). They'll do one for you. You won't get results for a day or two, but it's still worth a try. She talked to her heart doctor before she decided to have the abortion. He said that the whole pregnancy would kill her. She has 4 other kids to worry about so she has to do this. She does not wanna do it but she NEEDS to.

Thanks, how are you doing? I looked at your chart and let me tell you that it looked very similar to mine when I was pregnant. Nice...have you tested yet? call your doc for a blood test sometimes the test will to show until is a few days after your missed period. OMG let me know how things go for you ok. BEAS OF LUCK

hi, ok so you are saying that your temp was low and just today morning it went way up??? or was it up and today still went up?????but higher. Yes you can be 16dpo the thing is that if you are charting your temps and you can tell when you ovulated and its been 16dpo you might be pregnant usually the doc told me once you are 18dpo is almost certain that you are pregnant but that is if you can really tell you ovulated and makes you be cd18th so hey you have a pretty good chanse of being preggers...=) maybe you dont have enough hormone yet to show on the test...you might call your doc to order a blood work and that way the results would be in on monday..or wait till monday to build more hormone in case you are pregnant. OHWWW getting exiting...Pls. keep me posted k=) BEST OF LUCK
