Hello, I am from week 34, I saw ur post about baby not moving as much today. I wouldn't stress... babies will have some active and quiet days. I freaked out a few times too when I was in the 20something weeks and was used to getting regular activity from him. I am sure u are fine! Congrats :)

alishaB - Tuesday, 1 July
You look great! 22 weeks is considered 6 months...isn't that exciting? http://theparentsite.com/pregnancy/trimesters.asp

any excuse to eat chocolate is worth it! Don't worry about the movements. I've been doing the same thing myself...I think I've got baby's routine down and then it changes. My doc keeps assuring me that it's still twisting all over inside so it's feet are at different spots-that also has a lot to do with what you feel and what you don't feel. Yumm, now I want some chocolate!

Hi, everything is probably fine it takes a few more weeks for the babies to be felt all the time. Ice cold water works really well or ice cold juice if you want to wake them up though!

Dani331 - Tuesday, 1 July
I had the same thing happen to me last week. The doctor assured me everything was ok. He said babies are like people, they have their active days and lazy days! But if you are worried, just call your doctor... even if its just for piece of mind! good luck

I went through the same thing when I was about that far...would feel him move all the time then all the sudden nothing for 3 days. Try eating something high in sugar and laying on your left side for an hour. Don't fret if you still don't feel him/her...it is still pretty early and babies go though quiet periods. Give it another day or so, and if you're still worried try calling your doc and see if you can come in the office and listen to the heartbeat. Hope this helps.

I worry when I don't feel my baby for a while, but remind myself that it goes through quite periods and it has to sleep. Usually if I eat something it will start moving around.

christina1984 - Tuesday, 1 July
my doc says lay on ur left side and drink some orange juice or something like that and eat something. also u should be in a quiet room as well

BabyEby3 - Tuesday, 1 July
There is a test you can do I read in what to expect when your expecting, You should feel the baby at least 10 times every hour and it dosent have to be kicks it can be movement turning any type of movement. Also they say you cant really start the monitoring of the baby movements until you have reached at least 25 weeks. So I wouldnt be to concerned unless you go a day or so without feeling it at all. Good luck to you!!

BabyEby3 - Tuesday, 1 July
Congrats to you. I am sure you will do fine as a first time mom. You look great!!

hi there if you are worried about the baby not moving i suggest you lie down andfeel your tum and if he is awake and you touch him he may move, whenever i lie down mine normally starts moving..if you don`t feel movements then you ma want to be checke but he/she may be a tired little sleepy baby

Don't worry I didn't feel my baby move all day Saturday, sometimes they just get lazy and sleep all day, tonight or tommorrow for sure you will feel her

jmx - Tuesday, 1 July
drink some ice cold water loads of it and lie down if you not felt 10 movements in 12 hrs phone your midwife or doctors dont worry tho they dont tend to move every day at 24 weeks but if you feel you need to fone docs

newmommi - Tuesday, 1 July
My doctor told me if the baby is not moving a lot and i get worried to eat or drink something sweet and lay on my left side to feel for movement. I never tried it before, hope it works....

Megan the lump maker - Tuesday, 1 July
If you are worried--eat some sugar, take a warm bath and drink some ice water. Then get out and lay on your left side for 20 min. That should get that little bugger moving.

STCT - Tuesday, 1 July
I know what you mean. I've had days like that. Hope it works.

STCT - Tuesday, 1 July
Eat sweets or drink OJ and lay on your left side. That may get her going.
