My Story

I moved to Brockport, NY (3 hours away from my hometown of Binghamton, NY) two days after Christmas in 2007 to live with my boyfriend while he was in school. We figured it would be easy for me to find a job because I have two bachelors degrees, but were we wrong. We found out I was pregnant at the beginning of March (just a few days after he was getting tired of my mood swings and attitude and was making plans to move out in the Summer). Once we found out we were having a little one, everything changed ... our relationship has been the best it has ever been and both of us are getting more "adult like" everyday.

He decided that in order to take responsibility for our child, he would join the Army. We got married on April 25, 2008 and he left for BCT on May 19th. I miss him more and more everyday, but I love to get letters from him telling me to give the baby kisses for him ... it makes my day.

So, here I am in a place 3 hours away from family and friends trying to keep the house in order, and to get things ready to move in late September or early October when we find out where he will be stationed at.
