Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

hey army wife, I hear ya sister. I had a premmie born 7 weeks early and he won't take the boob for anything! Well once in awhile he'll humour me for 5 seconds. I have been exclusively pumping for 5.5 months now! It sucks but it gets easier and it becomes routine after you establish a good supply. I only pump 3 or 4 times a day and get a litre. 32 ozs. but in the beginning i had to pump every 3 hours around the clock it sucked big time. But you are doing an amazing thing! It's truely awesome and don't feel like a bad mother just the opposite you are doing something that requires a lot of time and pateince and other women might've given up. You are a great mom! keep working with the nipple sheild and practicing you never know it Breast feeding might work out for you.

Yeah the orajel didnt work for me. I had to use tylenol. And gently rinse my mouth with warm salt water every 2 to 3 hours.

I know what you mean. my doctor is the same and there really strict on intervineing, excuse the spelling! lol.. i will know more on tomorrow. given the chance to induce even a week early would be a great help i think. my son was 8 pound 8 oz and im 5'5 so i recon he will tell me just to get on with it. eye watering stuff! lol..
