Thats what i thought too but i wasent sure, I need her head to engage by wed or i might have to have a c section, really sucks!! Hope your doing okay being overdue sucks!! Hope something happens for you soon!

i am in newfoundland, st.john's, and yes apparently your water can break even though you aint dilated...Here they won't consider induction until you are a week late and only then will they put your name on the induction list, but then you have to wait, which really sucks...

You are definitely not alone. I'm coming up on 41 weeks in 2 days and I'm not dilated or effaced. I get an induction on the 9th, but from what I hear if my body hasn't had any progress it's likely I'll end up with a c-section, which is the one thing that I've said I don't want from the beginning. To top it off, it's as gray as can be here with lots of rain. Very depressing:(

hey, i have pretty much the same thing. i am only 50% effaced and not even 1cm dialated for the last week. i am due tomorrow as well. going on the 11th for a nst and an ultrasound to check fluid levels. they will induce me sometime between the 11th and the 17th. it is so discouraging, but nice to know that you arent alone

Hi Ashes - you are not alone. I am in the same boat. No signs of ANY progression and I'm feeling very down in the dumps. I am supposed to be induced on Friday, but if my cervix isn't ready at all I don't think I am comfortable going through with it. I just do not want to end up with a c-section as this is my 4th and I've had all of them naturally. Anyway, you are definitely NOT alone. Hang in there!

yeah, i'm due june 3rd and just wish i could go into labor today. i'm just so impatient for her to get here. since this is my first i have no idea what to expect, and you never know what will happen, so i just want it to start already. plus i don't want to have to go back to work next week. ; ) they scheduled me for an induction on 6/12 but that just seems so far away. hopefully it will happen on it's on long before then.

yes you arent the only one, OMG it hurts soo bad that its hard to sit down or even move sometimes its definitely no fun... goodluck at your docs appt hopefully you will have your lil one soon! oh i have been ready for a long time too this last month has been hard. Thank you and goodluck to you!

Oh believe me when I say I'm an epi fan AND demoral fan. I don't do pain very well. In fact my Doctor has had me on percocet for the last 2 weeks, max 2 a day. We also watch the birthing shows on tv.. They had one where the mother was getting an epi and he says to me "what him doing?" I exp that he was giving the mother a shot in her back so mother not hurt anymore. Which was interesting cuz later at some point I was having a false labor contraction and he said we hafta go doctor get shot in your back. He's always like that, blows my mind.

Sounds like it could be your mucus plug. I don't know from experience because I still haven't lost mine yet, but from hearing other ppl describe it, it sounds like it might be. Sounds like you're having lots of signs that labour might start soon. Congrats! I also noticed that you're in Halifax. So am I! Are you delivering at the Grace Maternity Hospital?
