Hi, my name is Ashley and I am married to the love of my life, Dennis. We are pregnant for a third time, this one was twins but one did not develope. We are left with a beautiful baby girl we are to name Bela. Our last pregnancy ended horribly but God has graced us with another chance. It will be our last and only chance at a baby since I have a condition that could be fatal and will no doubt leave me with a hysterectomy.I have been in the hospital since 25 weeks, Sept. 22nd. Now at 31 weeks we seem to be getting close, early still, but very close.My condition is called placenta percreta and the biggest challenge is just fighting to come home with my baby to my husband and furry babies at this point. Please pray for us in our journey.God bless all of you ladies and your loved ones as well.

Have you picked out names?: we have a ton for girls but boy names are so hard

How much weight have you gained: about 11 pounds

Have you felt the baby move: not sure

Have you heard the heartbeat: Yes

Will you keep the baby: Of course

Home or hospital birth: Hospital

Natural or medicated birth: whatever it takes, i am under no illusions !

Who will be in the delivery room with you: Dennis and my parents in spirit I hope!

Will you breastfeed: yep

Do you think you'll need a c-section: Yes already planned unfortunately

Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time: I am sure I will unless I am too drugged up!!!

What's the first thing you might say to him/her: Have no idea

Would you let someone videotape the birth? sure I would love to see it myself, not sure I would let others watch it though

Are you excited about the birth, or scared: a little scared

Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments!! I haven't forgotten about responding to anyone, just been really busy with the baby and preparing for a move to miami in a few weeks. Joshuah is 12 days old today!! We got a surprise today. His father came to visit for the first time. Dispite what happened between us I was very happy to see him with his son! We didn't say much to each other. What is there to say to someone who wasn't there for you throughout your whole pregnancy. For the first 10 minutes he stood in the same spot with Joshuah in his arms like he was in a trance. After a while he finally sat down. He was here about 25 minutes and had to leave bc he was on his lunch break. On the way out the door he looked so sad, like he finally understands what he lost. He kinda looked like he was about to cry. He turned to me and said bye, hugged me, rubbed Joshuah on his cheek, kissed me on the cheek and went out the door. If I said I didn't shed a few tears I would be lying. I'm not sure why I cried but I am happy he got to spend some time with his son. I hope we are able to schedule another visit soon.

So you are finally home now!
Congrats to you all!!!
I ended up in hospital also: I had to have a C-section too!! I only came to 8cm dilation. He was lying face forward suddenly. Stubborn already :-) Thomas is born on 24 dec. He had to stay on Childrens hospital for 3 daye because he was vomitting all the time ;-( So we were separated because I was in maternity ward. But now we are home and everything goes better and better every day. Still have some stomach pains and the breastfeeding isnt Yippy-hooray and hurts a lot but I will manage...I hope. :-) speak to you soon?

Yay!!! You had me a bit nervous, Ashley. Bela is SOOOO adorable. She looks like she could talk in this picture! I'm so glad she's doing so well. How are you? You look so peaceful in the pictures. You've finally got your darling girl. Ain't it wonderful?
