She is on the Similac Isomil Advance with Soy. Since she was coming off of that breastmilk, the regular milk-based formula was a little to strong for her little tummy. She's been taking the Soymilk with no problem. After she gets a little older, I'm going to swap her back to regular similac but right now, I'm just glad that she's rapidly gaining weight and able to keep that formula down. Its also night that papa can get up and help in the middle of the night now. Girl, she only wakes up 1 time so its soooo wonderful. The doctor says she considers her sleeping hours as sleeping through the night now because when I lay her down at 10:30 or 11pm at night, she doesn't wake up again until her 4:30 am feeding, go right back to sleep by 5am and then she doesn't wake up again until about 9:30 - 10am. I also started to add a little cereal to her milk so that really helps at nighttime. Oh, and I've started lying her on her belly at night to sleep and she sleeps sooo good girl. On another note, I have noticed that her stools are more stiff now since I've transitioned her to formula so the nurse advised me to add a little Karo syrup to her formula for a couple of feedings during the day and that's definitely helped to soften it up a little bit. So with all of that said, we are really doing good girl. She is definitely developing her own little personaliity...sweet, yet fiesty, just like mommy! (LOL) She makes me sooo happy - LOL!

Same girl! She is getting sooo big! I am sooo happy now that I'm done with this breastfeeding thing. Formula is sooo wonderful girl! So Jaiyda is done with her crying sprees now? i know you're happy about that girl. Any plans for you and the little one this weekend?

Zoe's doing good! She has a doc appointment today, so I'm up at the crack of dawn pumping some bottles. This will only be her second time out and about, and I have this fear that she'll get into the lobby and CUT UP!!!! So I pray that sticking a bottle in her little mouth will do the trick. *crossing fingers*
My appetite has left me! :( They say breast feeding burns x amount of calories per day, then on top of me not eating, I've been feeling like a limp noodle. *get your mind out the gutter!!!* I need to pick up some Ensure bottles or something before I pass out!

How are you and little mama? She's so cute Ashley!! I want to see more pics!!!

How did you manage to keep her away? I'll be breast feeding Zoe, and five minutes later I look down, and she's knocked out with my nipple still in her mouth!! Its like she won't stay up for the WORLD...she's been sleep for the past 3 hours, so I can only imagine what its going to be like tonight...plus I'm super sleepy already...*sigh*
Did Jaiyda always sleep thru the night or did it come with age? I need some sleeping remedies...help me...help me please!

Zoe is quiet UNLESS she's hungry, being changed, or having a wipe down/sponge bath *she SCREAMS like the water is eating through her skin...I feel so bad!*.
She sleeps all day, but as soon as night comes, she's up and ready to party. You know how ppl say try to get your sleep when the baby sleeps? Well unfortunately I'm one of those people who CAN'T sleep during the day, so I'm on straight zombie-mode...

KAMS MOM LEFT TODAY!!! I had to Febreze my whole apartment...she had it smelling like old woman perfume and breath. :(

How long did it take for your baby girl to get her color? Zoe is going to be a chocolate baby but she's so d*mn pale...I'm trying to figure out how long its going to take!! Do I need to expose her to sunlight? lol!!

Kams mom came over here June 1st with a suitcase. She isn't leaving until Thursday. Need I say more?

Hey Lady,

The movie was pretty good but I really missed Kamryn that I couldn't really concentrate.. I tried to make the best out of it though. Plus, I like the girl that I went with but we really don't have that much in common so I really didn't enjoy myself like I wanted to. Boy, its sooo hard to find good girlfriends - LOL! I thought the movie was really good though. Only bad part was it was kind of predictable. I thought Jennifer Hudson did a good job in her role. So what'd you do yesterday?

7 hours - WOW! Is that what we have to look forward to at 2 months - YAYYYY!!!!!!!!!! She is quiet for the most part but she gets really fussy in the evening time girl...Overall, she is a good baby! I'm going to see Sex & The City tonight and I've never been sooo happy to go to the movies - LOL! I'm sure its not just about the movie, more about having some free time to myself....Any big plans for the weekend for you?

Even though he's waiting forever to get her out, I'm glad that my doctor is willing to let nature take its place before pumping me up with meds to get this baby out, or rushing me and making me feel like she needs to be out NOW. Every doctor is different; my doctor won't let women go past the 42 week mark. I wouldn't have wanted her out before her due date anyway, especially if it didn't happen naturally! Since my fluid levels and everything else is good, I can't really complain. I'm impatient as hell and tired of being pregnant, but as long as he isn't doing some lightweight-malpractice crap to me, I'm good. :)
She'll be out by Saturday no matter what.

hey. yeah i know what u mean. my babies skin it totaly the same. its really annoying. and i am hopping its gonna go away soon. so yeah.. my baby doesnt spit up much cause of breastmilk. thats what i like about it. its really annoying to pump and stuff but i am gonna try to do it as long as possible. well gots to go .. baby crying and my hubby has a headache. so i need to take her so he can rest.. :) hope to hear from you soon:)

hey mommie! guess what? welcome to my world:) haha.. omg my baby girl had baby acne for about 3 weeks now and still not getting cleared out.. i hate it. her skin use to be super clean and super soft.now its crazy. and baby acne gets worst before it gets better. so good luck to you.. my lil oone had it for 3 weeks for sure. and still got it.. ugh i hate it so much. and u know watch out dont let ut lil one get too hot cause then she will have heat rash.. its crazy.. and my baby girls started sleeping alot better. i use to wake up like 6-7 times at night. and now i wake up only 2 times. but then i have to wake up extra to pump even tho she is sleeping. i pump cause she doesnt take my breats. cause when i had her i was super sick and they took hera away and i didnt hold her for the first 2 days. and they were giving her a bottle and she got use to it. and now thats the only thing she takes. i even tried nipple shield still she gets very mad and she fals aleep right away.. so yeah. are u breastfeeding ? or formula??
