| About Your Pregnancy | |
| Is this your first pregnancy?: | No, it's my 3rd and last one. Well that's the plan!! |
| When did you find out you were pregnant?: | When my period didn't come. |
| Was it planned?: | Yeah it was planned so I was watching my periods very close. |
| What was your first reaction?: | Funnily enough I'd watched each period hoping it wouldn't come but it always did. So i stopped watching and just was waiting for the next one to start and that's the one that didn't. I was in denial and then I was thrilled. |
| Who was with you when you found out?: | Chris kept telling me I was pregnant and I kept dismissing it so we did a test together. |
| Who was the first person you told?: | We told Chris's mum. She lives and breaths for her family. |
| How did your parents react?: | My parents- oh another one. That's nice. Chris's mum threw herself out of her chair and jumped around the verandah. She was laughing and crying at the same time. Couldn't have asked for a better reaction. Chris's dad shook my hand and said well done. He's so funny. |

| If so, what are they?: | Taylor Ann for a girl and Flynn Michael for a boy. |
| How much weight have you gained?: | 8.8lbs |
| Do you have stretch marks?: | Two little ones above my belly button that look like antenna. There from my first pergnancy and I've got no more since. |
| Have you felt the baby move?: | Constantly |
| Have you heard the heartbeat?: | Every dr's visit |
| About the birth | |
| Will you keep the baby?: | You bet. At least for the first 18 yrs. |
| Home or hospital birth?: | Hospital |
| Natural or medicated birth?: | I'd love more than anything to go naturally but I think it may need to be ceaserean. |
| Who will be in the delivery room with you?: | If it's a ceaser then just Chris but if it's natural I don't care. With my first I said just me and the father but when the event actually happened there was almost every family member from both side having a bloody dinner party or something and I didn't mind at all. |
| Will you breastfeed?: | Gonna give it my best shot |
Do you think you'll need a c-section?: | Oh I didn't see this question was here. Well I've covered this. |

|

|

25th Nov- Hello all those beautiful pregnant and non pregnant women out there. My name is Jo and I live in Sunny Queensland, Australia. I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant with baby no#3. I have a son who's 6 and a daughter who's 4 to a previous marriage. This is my partners first baby. Prior to meeting us, Chris had never had anything personally to do with children at all so this has been a total journey for him which I must say he's taken to so naturally.
We're over the moon with this pregnancy, which yes was planned. It's all gone relatively smooth. I have low blood pressure and am patiently awaiting my results from my 2 hour GTT to see if I have Gestational Diabetes, but otherwise It's been a terrific experience.
Well feel free to have a look around at my photo's and drop a hello every once in a while. All the best with your pregnancies and babies. Take Care xxx
3rd Dec- Well the count down has begun. 10 weeks to go till D day. I'm feeling a little mixed at the moment. I'm excited and can't wait to meet it and find out what it is but at the same time, I no way feel ready to have the baby yet. I know it's still a lil while off but my belly is still small and not uncomfortable, I'm getting no symptoms or problems, things I think are important to get you mentally ready for the birth. But see how I am in 5 weeks. Plus all I have is a pram cause I'm waiting to stock up on baby good till we move into our new home. So I guess once we get settled in the house and I grow a bit I may be ready to get it out. Hopefully. Take Care xxx

27th Jan- 2 WEEKS TO GO!! Can hardly believe it. I'm monitoring every braxton hicks and waiting patiently for that first real contraction. I'm not known for being the most patient person and just can't wait to meet our 3rd edition. I've got my fingers crossed for a girl but guess we'll just have to wait and see. As long as it goes well and I can have it naturally i'll be very happy. Got my bag packed and the quickest route to the hospital all mapped out so wish me luck and keep an eye out for the baby pics. :)
14th Feb- Well it's a bit late on here but we had our little bub and IT'S A GIRL!! Taylor Anne, born at 3:41am on the 8th Feb 2008. 7lbs 10 ounce. 53cm long with a 34 cm head. No drugs, no stiches, 2 pushes and she entered the world. Chris was a rock for me through out and he's the proudest dad in the world. Taylor already has him wrapped round her little finger. LOL. We stayed in hospital till saturday after lunch and are now home and well and truely settled in. The kids are just smitten with their baby sister to. Morgan spent the first few days treating Taylor like a guest and seemed like she was wondering when Taylor would go home. But now she treats her like a doll and wants to carry her everywhere. Reece treats her like a pet and wants to help bath her and change her. It's just great that there's no jealousy. I'm also getting about 6.5 hrs sleep a night. It's broken but I feel great. Breast feeding is going well. Had a few dramas with over supply and cracked nipples but it's all sorted out. I'm glad cause I was so worried about not being able to beast feed. I have also bounced back really quickly. I only put on 10 kg (22lbs) in total and only have 1 kg (2.2 lbs) to go before I'm back to pre pregnancy weight. Gotta get back in the gym and get my pre pregnancy shape. I've got no pain down below and I bleed like the end of a period. It's text book perfect. For how long who knows but for now I couldn't be happier. Well I'll keep you updated on progress. Take care Mummies and Mummies to be.
15th Mar- (I don't know why the stupid computer kept putting this before the 21st Feb post but I couldn't get it to change) Been a while since I updated. Everything is going great. We've almost perfected breastfeeding and Taylor only wakes up once through the night. Just enough for me to get my daily dose of infommercials. LOL. I'm also looking after myself again. Watching what I eat (although I have watched myself eat a little too much chocolate lately) and excerising again. I'm very sore today though after being punnished in the park by the aerobics instructor. All worth it. Plus I'm loving having a baby in the house again. She's such a precious little angel. I'm so sad that all too soon she'll grow up and I won't be able to sit with her asleep on my lap and just watch her and kiss her perfect little toes. Guess all mum's feel like that.
21st Feb - Well everything is going really well. Taylor is a great sleeper and gives me about 4 hours through the night before waking up for a feed then back to sleep for another 4 hours. So I can't complain. Have had no problems with her except for her left eye gets a bit gunky in the mornings but I went to the doctor this morning and asked him about it and he said it's normal. Just the body clearing out unwanted gunk. Nice LOL. I'm doing great too. Feel pretty much back to normal. Got put back on a mini pill today (reason for going to doctors) so soon everything should be back in buisness. I felt ready after about a week but safety first. Love my kids to bits but I sure don't want another one. Been getting out and about this week too and have been meeting loads of new people. Cause we only moved her 7 months ago, I had no friends or really knew anyone but I've joined up to a playgroup and a few kids sports activities and am meeting heaps of new mums. Feeling better about living here and feel good in myself. Plus it's great for the kids. Well I'll have to get some more pics of Taylor up. She now 13 days and weights 4kg (8.8lbs). Good eater. Like her mum ;)|
