My Name is

I was born and raised in the beautiful State of Maine, and have lived here my entire life for the most part. I have an amazing fiancee named Curtis, whom I have spent 4 wonderful years with already! We found out on March 27, 2006 that we were pregnant, unexpectedly. Our son, Nikolias Keith was born December 5th, 2006! We decided in late March, that we were going to start TTC #2... we were very, very blessed to find out on April 23, 2008 that WE ARE PREGNANT WITH OUR SECOND LITTLE ONE!! We also found out on July 30, 2008 that this little one is A GIRL!!

So I am currently the mother to one, adorable and incredibly smart and loving little boy named Nikolias! He was born December 5, 2006 weighing 6lbs, 12 oz and 20.5 inches long! He is the LIGHT OF MY LIFE!

I adore being a mother more than anything else I have EVER done in my entire life!!!

So, I finally got my BFP today while I was home on my lunch break. I got a BFN yesterday, with no faint line, nothing... first thing in the morning, and had told myself that I was not going to test again until this weekend... but I guess I just couldn't wait!! Thank Goodness!! I was soooo thankful and soooo grateful when I saw the results... I was soooo excited! We are very, very blessed in that we got pregnant on our first month of trying. I would have never guessed that. After I had my son, I had the Mirena IUD placed in me and then had to have it out in January due to an infection. Then went on the patch until the last week in March when I took my last one off... I thought that it might take us a few months, but it appears that that was not the case. So far my pregnancy symptoms:

*swollen, huge, tender and engorged breasts

* bloated and swollen abdomen

* extremely tired & sleepy all the time

* extremely moody, teary and emotional... at any moment, my mood can change

* slight nausea

* cravings so far: pasta salad, pasta, sour cream

So our journey through another pregnancy begins.... I am so thankful, and so blessed and I am praying for all my TTC Mommies to get their BFP soon as well!!! BABYDUST to all TTC Mommies!!

So... I am 7 weeks, 3 days pregnant at this point. Morning sickness kicked in around 6 weeks on the day, but definitely kicked in a little worse at 7 weeks. It still isn't anything like it was when I was pregnant with Nikolias, but it is still pretty hard sometimes. Mainly, I just can't EVER have a completely empty belly... lol... AND THIS KID LOVES anything fattening and anything that I shouldn't eat...!!! haha, when I eat fruit... the baby wants FAT... anything healthy seems to make my stomach REALLY, REALLY hurt!! I really have a strong feeling it is a girl this time around, but we will see... :) My first appointment is next Monday 5/19 at 8:40 with the same doctor that I had when I was pregnant with Nikolias... so I am hoping that if we can't hear the heartbeat, we can at least get an ultrasound, which is what happened when I was pregnant with Nikolias at 10 weeks at my first appointment. Can't wait to see that strong heartbeat!!! Other than morning sickness I am feeling pretty good... :) My boobs have GOT to stop growing, lol... they are getting enormous! and they are sore all the time, which I didn't have when I was pregnant with Nikolias either....! I started calling the baby "she" because I am that certain it is a girl :) Can't WAIT to find out~!!! ** June 8th, 2008:

So I was FINALLY able to post a picture of my first ultrasound... At 8weeks, 4days pregnant we got to see our little bean!! We saw the strong heartbeat, and even though the little one was still soooo little, it was simply amazing! We haven't have the internet, so I havent been able to post much. I am 11 weeks, 1 day pregnant today, and starting to get over my morning sickness, I HOPE!!! I finally picked up the heartbeat yesterday on my doppler that I rented... I got it in the mail on Monday, and couldn't find it until today... but it was AMAZING! So everything seems well with my little bean, I have gained about 10-12 lbs so far, and starting to feel better... everything seems well, and I go back to the doctors office on June 19th for my next appointment! * June 17, 2008:

12 weeks, 4 days pregnant today... glad to be getting closer to being done with my first trimester!! I threw up literally everything that I have eaten today... today was NOT a good day. A horrible day actually. One of the worst that I have had in a long time! O well... my morning sickness/all day sickness lasted from 7 weeks until 17 weeks with Nikolias... and started around 8 weeks with this little one, so I am hoping it doesn't last that long or longer with this one... I'm still feeling pretty tired too, in bed around 8-8:30 every night... which seems to work pretty well :) No kicks yet... just a couple flutters here and there... but I listen to the baby heartbeat every day or two with my doppler... its finally really easy to find, and this morning our little bean was moving around like crazy! I love hearing the baby move, and being able to listen to the heartbeat whenever I want... :)

* July 2, 2008 *

14 weeks, 4 days pregnant today... First trimester is over now, and into my second. Mornig sickness seems to be getting better slowly... now out of a 7 day week, I will only have about 2-3 days were I am sick all day... where it was 6-7... so getting there :) I won't miss that...! So it seems that the morning sickness is going to last a few weeks less with this little baby... thank goodness!! I think I felt a couple kicks last night... nothing to big, nothing strong... just little flutters. Somedays my belly looks huge, and then I have days like today and I don't even look pregnant, surely not 4.5 months pregnant! :) The pregnancy seems to be flying by lately... probably because I don't get to think about it that much. I use my doppler about every 3-4 days... just to check in on my little one. We can't wait to find out the gender... I'm 98% sure It's a Girl... Curt's 100% sure its a boy! LOL... We'll see who's right!? :) Not until August 15th though... oooo, seems like forever away! Can't wait to see my little one again and make sure everything is growing just right... only 6 weeks from friday!! :) Hope everyone else's pregnancy's are going great!!
