Ok well I am ready to have this baby. I feel she will never come out. Who could blame her, she has warmth and she get all the nourishment she needs. I am convinced that she will be in there forever at this point. I know I should be patient, but I want her in my arms. I had my baby shower on Saturday it was great everyone loves shopping for a girl I have so many cute little girl things. I got 2 bouncers. Why does no one look at the registry? I only got the blanks from it. Its crazy people won’t spend $100 on a swing but they will give me $200 dollars worth of clothing. I have a doctors appointment on Wednesday I will keep all posted after that.

Ok so I doubled up on my vitamins and am starting to feel a lot better. I have also added iron pills to them and can feel a real difference. I still am sleepy but not like I was before. I went to the doctor on Monday and he measured me at 28 centimeters. He thinks the baby will be a good 8 pounds or more when she is ready to come into the world. I spoke with my aunt (she is a labor and delivery nurse) and she said that I will probably deliver early. Crazy to think about delivering the baby it seems like I just found out I was pregnant. The little one has been moving around at certain times during the day and night. I feel her dancing around about midnight to 1:30 am. She is already a party animal. I also feel her everyday around 3:30pm and 4:30 pm then again after dinner. She is not hurting me yet although I get what I can only imagine is a foot near my ribs on the right side. It feels like she is pushing against my ribs looking for some extra space. She is so small now I can only imagine what it will feel like when she gets bigger. I have another appointment in 2 weeks. I find it interesting to have a 2nd one so close together. I was told that its in the 8th month that you start to see the docs closer. I get to hear her heart every time I go so it is worth it.

Well I am exhausted; I loved all the energy I had; now I just want to curl up on the couch again. I am starting to feel like I did in the 1st trimester. I was hoping for another month at least before I started feeling like this. Good thing I am not that hungry, and I am only craving fruit and mint ice cream. I can’t concentrate at work. My birthday was on June 3rd this was the first time that I have not been excited about my birthday. I am the big 32 this year.
I can’t believe how fast this feels like it is going. Just think in a few months I will be holding my little girl in my arms. it is a mixture of happiness, excitement and a little fear. I guess that is normal. It is my first baby. I have decided to go natural, no epidural for me; at least if I can handle it, I think I can. I will try to not use any pain meds, my mom says I am crazy and will be begging for something. I think I can do it, besides epidurals have a ton of side effects but then again so does everything else. I also heard that they can prolong the labor because you can feel too good when to push. I was thinking about a water birth but there are just too many people standing over you. I think that might be a little claustrophobic for me.
My hubby has been great he complains a little but I have not been doing really anything since I got pregnant. He has been very sweet most of the time. he has felt the baby move but he wants to feel big kicks. Right now you can feel my pulse and ever once in a while she will kick. He just doesn’t wait long enough the second he moves his hand she give a good kick. At least that’s what it feels like to me.
Well 3 months to go, I can’t wait I am so excited. Hope all are doing well.

ok so i went and had my U/S done. i am have a GIRL!!!!! i didn't realize how much i wanted a girl until they told me its a girl. she didn't try to cover up, she wanted us to know she is a girl. i felt like i was having a boy, and the baby predictor predicted a boy and well the doc said she is a girl. She is doing great everything looks good .

I had my ultrascreen today it was so cool to see the baby, again. Baby got so big since the last one I saw. Only a week or so ago, the little one is really growing fast. I have had 2 other u/s done but they were trans-vaginal so the pic was not that great, but this time I got to see the baby so clear. He/she was sucking the thumb and was kicking a lot. I also heard the heart beat and it sounded amazing. 150beats, I can wait to feel the little one move it has become so very real. The idea of this little person in side me. My s/o was there with me he was extremely excited to see the baby and even asked to hear the heart again. I think it is really sinking in to him that there is a baby in me. He kept asking if she could tell us if it is a boy or girl, she said it was too soon to tell.

I saw my baby again today he/she is getting big about 2 inches and the heart is about 150 beats. The head is so large and you can see a little leg. I am so happy. i go back on 3/24. i have a ultrascreen on 3/7/08 so i get to see the baby again. still have not heard the heart beat the dr. said it depends on the machine and his won't pick it up yet he said we will try next time.

So the metallic taste comes and goes I read an article that says it "normal" with pregnancy. I am getting tired of things being "normal" with pregnancy, don’t get me wrong I love the fact that I am pregnant and bringing a beautiful little life into this world but I could do with out the gross crap that is "normal" . I am still very sleepy. I go to see the doc on Monday 2nd visit can’t wait to hear the heart and hopefully see the little one again. Other then those things I am doing great. I still have light cramps every once in a while but nothing to worry about. Some days I wish I could stay in bed all day and watch TV. I guess that will come soon enough when the baby is born.
2/13-
9 weeks- I feel ok, my back is bothering me a little bit. I have not been sleeping very well. I am still very sleepy all the time and get headaches. I feel sad sometimes, just want to curl up and cry. Which is very easy to do, cry that is. I cry at songs on the radio when I am driving.
I dread the idea of going home to cook. But my s/o works later then I do so, if I don’t cook I don’t eat. No big deal he is really good and makes sure that I have a few nights off from cooking. I put ketchup on just about everything I eat. Also I have a weird after taste in my mouth when ever I finish something sweet or whenever I eat any other foods. Water has become my favorite drink. I can drink 5 bottles a day at least.
Before I got pregnant I would color my hair every 3 weeks (bleach blond). Let me just say my root are scary. Good thing is I keep my hair short so it looks like highlights. Just 3 more weeks till I am in the 2nd trimester then I can at least do something to it. I go to the doctor for my second check up on 2/25 so I will ask him then when he thinks it’s a good idea to color it.

I am very happy to have found this page. looking forward to hear from all the women that are due to have their first child around the same time as me.
So if i am not sleepy all the time, I am want food, spicy food. I don't think I have ever felt this tired before. when I am at work all I want to do is sleep. I heard it gets better .
I have been told that I am a little B*tchy lately what ever, I think is just me being cranky cause I am so sleepy.

Thanks for replying.. yeah they did another ultrasound at 30 weeks which was 4 weeks ago and said she already weighed 4 pds 6 oz.... looks like im gonna have a big one

Thats so funny that your daughter hates the dr! - my son plays hide and seek with the nurses when they try to find his heart beat, and always covers his head in the ultrasound - it takes like 10 min everytime just to get him to let us look at it...

Hello...thanks for your support. I'm feeling better now. The first few days I was on complete bed rest and could not get up for anything, not even to go to the bathroom...so that was driving me crazy. Now my son can come see me and I have some more freedum, so I guess its ok.The baby will come soon and all this will be forgoten. Good luck with your baby too...we don't have much longer to go now!

Thanks for your feedback. The funny part about the whole thing is that he is ECSTATIC about the baby. If I so much as mention that the court will probably not want the baby shuffled between two homes for the first year at least, he freaks out and gets all defensive. He wants me to stay (the house is his, he bought it before we were married) so that we can both learn how to take care of the baby before we go our separate ways. Is he freaking nuts or what????

Hey there!! He is prob going to Patchogue!!! They told him they were going to need someone there in December or something like that so that is why they are letting him leave Hawaii faster. He hasn't gotten his orders yet but they told him by September he should know exactly what is going on. They are just waiting on funds or something I DUNNO!!! Sitting and waiting basically. Yeah I was able to go to babies r us while I was there. I bought all the stuff that I wasn't able to find here in Hawaii. We also had a baby shower while we were there so my little one had her own suitcase coming back to Hawaii as well as a box full of stuff!!! I am feeling pretty good actually just tired!! I DO NOT sleep at night anymore. I am up every 2 to 3 hours going to the bathroom. So during the day I drag!!! Otherwise I haven't had any pain or pressure just keep feeling her flipping and kicking which does kind of hurt. She has some strong kicks. YEAHHHH ONLY 8 more weeks left. GOD feels like so far away though. Hopefully it will fly by!! Well I will talk to you soon!! Take care of yourself and RELAX!!! : )

Hey there!!!! How's it going? I'm doing good over here!! Sorry we didn't get to meet up when we were home in NY!! We were crazy running around every day! I was glad to come back here to Hawaii and relax. But it looks like my husband IS getting stationed over there and they are sending him 3 months earlier because they need somebody which is good and bad. I was looking forward to coming in March when it was a little warmer and now it is looking like the COLD month of Decemeber!!! UHHHH I hate the cold.

Hey there lady!!! Well we just got into NY yesterday which was Saturday. Didn't get home until late and then all day today we were at a BBQ. I wil be here for 3 weeks now though so we can def meet up and talk. I am busy during the weekends for the next 3 weeks we are here so we will def have to meet up during the week.
