Hello Everyone! My name is Erin and I am pregnant (YEAH) with our first child!! We found out on 3/11/08 that our little peanut was a boy! His daddy has named him Charles Andrew, he'll probally go by Charlie for the rest of his life. I am so excited to be a mommy and lucky because i get to stay at home and be with him everyday.
My wonderful husband's name is James and he couldn't be happier to be a daddy (a little surprised at first but good now.)
We are just finishing building our home in Livingston and can't wait to move in and start decorating Charlies room.

thanks for your comment. i'm not sure if it's carpal tunnel or not. i looked at the forum on here and though the tingling sounds the same - it doesn't bother me at night and there's no pain in my wrists either. it actually seems to get better at night - it's when i wake up and start moving around that it gets worse. i was attributing it to swelling mostly - but i'll have to talk to the doctor! thanks again!

If it's bright red blood and still trickling then you need to ph doc or ring the hospital. My muscus plugs are normally bloodstained mucus but not looking like a fresh bleed.

It is normal to bleed a bit after an exam... however if it is a lot....sounds like yes, things are progressing. call your DR if this continues or go to the hospital. things should start happening for you soon. with my son i had blood...48 hours later... i had a baby!

It could've been your mucus plug, but if you continue to bleed at all, I would call doc. It could also be "old blood" that was stuck and just came out because your cervix is softening, but it shouldn't be bright red or very much? More than a little red blood that is not immediately after an exam or sex is always something to call doc about, hope this helps, let me know how it turns out!

hi! thx. congrats on yours as well! awe. haha. thats neat. an your names erin? i like that name, very pretty. i saw your naming yalls baby boy charles andrew. i like that name. i always wanted to name my son andrew if i had one. my boyfriends middle name is andrew. but he wanted to give him his first name which is thomas and since we wanted to tie the baby to my side as well, we decided on clayton for my gpaw that passed away a good while back! an for a girl we picked the name korie reanne. [= i bet youre very excited. dont have much longer til you have your little one! i know im ready for mine. lol.

I read your message about getting checked on the 27 this is the norm around 36 weeks you go from every two weeks being monitored to the every week and it becomes the vaginal checks. This is when it should get more exciting at the doctors so I hear my first so we shall see.

The "what's safe and unsafe" page says that it's ok, but to be really careful if you have hemorhhoids because you could bleed pretty bad.

Thanks so much for your post. I've tried several at motherhood maternity and a few other places. I think I may just have to tough it out. Maybe a sports bra would feel better. I might try that. Good luck with yours! :)

The reason I asked if they were named after the prince's is that I'm English and the Queens sons are Charles and Edward, actually i think she has one called Andrew also! I like Andrew. Yes Molly is a cute name, it was the only girls name that me and my b/f liked. My mum told me that my dads uncles hair was ginger and that is why in summer i get a ginger tint in my hair. I've never met my dad or any of his family, but can you imagine a ginger haired Pakistani!!
