Hello Everyone! My name is Erin and I am pregnant (YEAH) with our first child!! We found out on 3/11/08 that our little peanut was a boy! His daddy has named him Charles Andrew, he'll probally go by Charlie for the rest of his life. I am so excited to be a mommy and lucky because i get to stay at home and be with him everyday.

My wonderful husband's name is James and he couldn't be happier to be a daddy (a little surprised at first but good now.)

We are just finishing building our home in Livingston and can't wait to move in and start decorating Charlies room.

Based on my own experience, Food. If she is stuck eating hospital food she would definately appreciate a fruit or other goodie basket.

It is a customized jar with 31 notes that you chose what they say. it is so awesome and truly comes from the heart. i got one from a friend of mine when i was down and it was so great, i now send them to my family and friends for different occasions.

thank you yours is a cutie to i love the rosey checks and big blue eyes. if you like the swing babies r-us has the little jumper too we just got it and it is great it not only jumps up and down but it lets them go side to side, Nick sits up with help, i got him one of those bumbo chairs and when he started sitting good in it was when i started feeding him about a week ago, i bf too, i use to give formula as well till my supply came in and he stoped sleeping as well so i though food would be the next thing, he does great with it too

I give nick carrots and sweet potatoes it seemed like bottles just weren't filling him up enough he is really long 28" and he weighs 15lbs, he does really well with it too, i thought i was the only mommy givien my kid food already

thanks for your comment. i'm not sure if it's carpal tunnel or not. i looked at the forum on here and though the tingling sounds the same - it doesn't bother me at night and there's no pain in my wrists either. it actually seems to get better at night - it's when i wake up and start moving around that it gets worse. i was attributing it to swelling mostly - but i'll have to talk to the doctor! thanks again!

If it's bright red blood and still trickling then you need to ph doc or ring the hospital. My muscus plugs are normally bloodstained mucus but not looking like a fresh bleed.

It is normal to bleed a bit after an exam... however if it is a lot....sounds like yes, things are progressing. call your DR if this continues or go to the hospital. things should start happening for you soon. with my son i had blood...48 hours later... i had a baby!

It could've been your mucus plug, but if you continue to bleed at all, I would call doc. It could also be "old blood" that was stuck and just came out because your cervix is softening, but it shouldn't be bright red or very much? More than a little red blood that is not immediately after an exam or sex is always something to call doc about, hope this helps, let me know how it turns out!

I read your message about getting checked on the 27 this is the norm around 36 weeks you go from every two weeks being monitored to the every week and it becomes the vaginal checks. This is when it should get more exciting at the doctors so I hear my first so we shall see.

The reason I asked if they were named after the prince's is that I'm English and the Queens sons are Charles and Edward, actually i think she has one called Andrew also! I like Andrew. Yes Molly is a cute name, it was the only girls name that me and my b/f liked. My mum told me that my dads uncles hair was ginger and that is why in summer i get a ginger tint in my hair. I've never met my dad or any of his family, but can you imagine a ginger haired Pakistani!!

Umm, Charles Edward, I can understand why you put your foot down!!! My baby's full name is Thomas George David. My b/f chose Thomas and David (Thomas was his dads middle name and David is his name) I chose George because it was my granddads name. We already had the names picked out because if Molly was a boy she would have had the name. Was there a reason why your hubby wanted Charles Edward? Was it after the Princes?

Last night I experienced menstural-like cramps for about 25 minutes. I didn't have any blood though, but I was kinda scared. They just kept coming and going, non-stop. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, and when I find out what was going on, I'll be sure to let you know.

It is perfectly normal the way you are feeling. I am quite enjoying sex with my hubby! I do still have moments where I think I look gross and he cannot be turned on. But he obviously is. Most men think this is the time their wives are the most beautiful. Sex and the big O are 90% psychological...so if you can get all those evil thoughts and insecurities out of your head you might start enjoying it. It is really hard to get over the mind thing but if you can it is much better. I didn't want sex at all with my 2 boys and this time I am having a girl and I cannot get enough. Good luck and don't feel bad...after I gave birth to both of my boys I was ready for action again.

sex is definatlly more uncomfortable and not enjoyable anymore. i swear i think about the baby the whole time hoping shes ok in there. me and my man discussed it and even though it sucks not being able to do it, the fun will arrive soon and its all worth the wait because it wont be forever. i wanted it all the time when i was first pregnant but now i cant even stand the thought of it.

I hate sex too. I feel sorry for the hubs. He's excited all the time, even more since I've been preg. If he inserts a finger during foreplay, I feel gross like he's the doctor checking my cervix! I just feel so ugly too. The boobs are huge and heavy and hurt to be touched. There is no position that is comfortable to me. I can't wait to get our old sex life back! I know he feels the same way.
