Hello Everyone! My name is Erin and I am pregnant (YEAH) with our first child!! We found out on 3/11/08 that our little peanut was a boy! His daddy has named him Charles Andrew, he'll probally go by Charlie for the rest of his life. I am so excited to be a mommy and lucky because i get to stay at home and be with him everyday.

My wonderful husband's name is James and he couldn't be happier to be a daddy (a little surprised at first but good now.)

We are just finishing building our home in Livingston and can't wait to move in and start decorating Charlies room.

Madame Zaritska's reading

Madame Zaritska, our resident clairvoyant, wants to help you prepare for the arrival of your child. Here she does her best to predict certain aspects of your labor and birth experience.

What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be cloudy. Your baby will arrive in the afternoon.

After a labor lasting approximately 16 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and will be 20-1/2 inches long. This child will have light blue eyes and a little patch of brown hair.

Your labor prediction quiz results are below.....

You won't need to try any secret recipes to bring on labor. Have your emergency numbers ready. Don't wait until the last minute to get your nursery ready. We predict your baby will come 1-2 weeks early. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 6.3 pounds and that your labor will be about 12 hours long

You could even try measuring yourself, if you're really curious! Ha! I am feeling great, thanks! I've had a really easy pregnancy. Now I'm just ready to see my little boy!!!

singinghide - Wednesday, 23 April
My Dr measures from bottom to top. It's from your pubic bone to where your uterus stretches to. After 20 weeks, it should measure how ever many centimeters as weeks you are pregnant (give or take a couple cms.). What are you measuring??

MelisaK - Wednesday, 23 April
Mine measures mine from top to bottom. And I feel sooo stupid! I am in the last 2 weeks of the semester before finals and I don't know how I am going to pull it off! My brain feels like rubber!

cosmomama - Tuesday, 22 April
haha I pick my nose a lot in my cube at work too. Nobody has caught me yet, but I'm sure I will get caught sooner or later! LOL it's so funny cause nobody could possibly undersatnd this unless they were pregnant!

babino2 - Thursday, 17 April
thank you so much. Everyone on this website has been great.

I have only got messured once so far, i think they start to do it at 24 weeks, but ya i would just tell your doctor to messure you, or you can actually do it your self, Good luck sweetie =o)

nicole-noelle - Wednesday, 16 April
U should just ask your doctor to messure you

I get measured every time I go in to see my Dr. You should be measuing about the same amount of cm as your weeks (if that makes sense). At my last apt I was 23 weeks and measured 23-24cm. I would tell your Dr to measure you so that way you can feel better about it. Good luck

I am so glad I am not alone! I swear I might just end up pissing my boss off to the point that he fires me before my time is up but he needs me around to train the new chick. I am just so ready to stay home for a while! Hopefully I will be able to work somewhere on the weekends so I dont even have to miss very much with my little girl! Congrats on your baby boy!! Only a couple days behind me! Have a great day hun!

I'm so glad they didn't find anything wrong to cause the bleeding. Hopefully it will stop (or has stopped).

I'm doing well. Baby boy is very active lately. My daughters are getting more and more excited about a baby brother coming. We also started discussing bedroom accomodations. Since we will be decorating a nursery we also offered to redecorate the girls room too. It's time, they've had the same thing for about 4yrs.

Angelia - Thursday, 10 April
I'll be thinking of you on Friday. Let me know how it goes.

I would definitely call... better to get that medical opinion. I call sometimes and get the reply "it's normal"... amazing what is suddenly "normal" when your pregnant! Still, most Dr's offices understand us pregnant women who call more while we are pregnant, I tend to think of it as being a good/concerned mom even before the baby gets here.

Also, my mom had spotting a bleeding throughout her entire pregnancy with my brother. He was an active little thing! She would lay down and drink extra fluids. That usually took care of the problem. During the last 4 months of her pregnancy it was much worse (baby moving more) so I lived with my grandma because it was too much for my mom to get off her feet and care for an almost 2yr old... not that I was a bad 2yr old ;)

Thanks for your comment! I am hoping it's just ligament pain, too. It's so hard to know. How are you feeling?? I see that we're both having boys! :) I'm sure your husband is as ecstatic as mine!!!

mommy-of-3 - Tuesday, 1 Apr
I know what you mean I am already feeling sorry for my husband! I guess between the basketball I'm carrying in front of me and the backache/sore feet, sex just isn't high on my list of priorities lol!

katcoat - Friday, 28 Mar
Ya we are having a girl!!! We picked out Hailye for her name. Just working on the nursery now. Congrats on your boy!!!

aville - Friday, 28 Mar
Hello... that has happened to me. Has it stopped already? My doctor told me that my cervix is very vascular and the contact during sex caused the bleeding. It doesn't effect the baby at all, but he recommended abstaining from intercourse for about a week to give the cervix some time to heal. Hope this helps.
