I went to the doctor yesterday to get my level 2 u/s and the doc said she looks absolutely perfect. He saw no signs of any defects or signs of D/S. We were so happy. So I opted against the amnio.

Anyways, she was so active in there... putting on a show for mommy and daddy. She has the cutest chubby legs and the doctor said she has a big butt! (Just like mom and dad...LOL!!!) Watch out J-Lo!! lol!
Well, I'm at 19 weeks and almost half way there. I am hoping to do my 3D Sonogram when I am about 7 months or so. I can't wait. I am making the plans for the nursery and plan to register next weekend. Marcos and I went to Pottery Barn Kids yesterday..... OMG!! The cuttests things EVER! I started crying in the store...I got so emotional. I just can't wait to see and hold my princess.
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Time to get ready for Christmas!!!

Hey everyone: Yesterday I had a doctor's appointment and all they did was draw some blood for the routine downs test and we got to hear the heartbeat again. I've only gained 3lbs, (which I'm stoked about) because my biggest fear is looking like a whale. If you were to see my friends, you would understand my obssession with my weight. LOL! Anyways, the doctor said I was healthy and that everything so far was looking great! The issue I'm having is these freaking growing pains. The tightness, aching and sharp pains in my abdomen are KILLING ME!!! It's hard to get out of bed and even at work its uncomfortable. I walk holding my belly hunched over. And I am only 4 months!!! Not to mention, I have been so crabby this week.

This morning Marcos calls me, while I'm at work and says to me, I forgot to walk the dogs this morning because I was running late. He doesn't leave a note, he didn't text me, he didn't tell me before he left, so when I got up I just put them in their kennels and went to work as usual. Now my poor babies probably have a bladder thats going to explode!! I mean how irresponsible is that?? So of course I start to tell him how irresponsible his actions were and how those kinds of things worry me for when the baby comes. And get this... he says, "It's different with a baby, you just a slap a diaper on her and you're done". ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?? AM I DREAMING??? Of course, I flew off the deep end and start saying, a prolonged unchanged diaper can cause diaper rash, infection, etc. Anyways, I had to end the call, before I jumped through the damn phone and chocked him to death. Today is just not a good day to piss me off!!!! I need a DRINK! Pffffffffft...I wish!

Anyway, back to happy thoughts...... I get my sonogram/ultrasound on Monday, to find out the sex of the baby. I CANNOT WAIT!!!! So be sure to come see me on Monday when I reveal the sex of my Jellybean!! I am soooo hoping its a girl.... cause I don't think I could deal with another Marcos. :)

Yesterday I went to the doctor and an ultrasound was done. I've attached the picture for your viewing pleasure. LOL!

The doctor said that I am very healthy and that the pregnancy is coming along wonderfully. He also mentioned that the baby was huge! haha... in a good way of course. So maybe it will be a boy.

During the ultrasound, the baby waved at us and was hi-fiving the uterus. It was the cutest thing ever. The baby actually waved at us. I couldn't believe my eyes. What a miracle. I saw the little arms, hands and legs. It was an amazing sight to see.

We hope to find out the sex in about 5-6 weeks. I am still praying for a beautiful healthy girl. But we'll see.

***UPDATES***09/19/07
So we've had a couple of scares these past few weeks... pretty much the baby's age was miscalculated and at my first ultrasound we saw no baby and the doctor thought I was going to lose the baby. Well, come to find out, I was earlier than we thought. I am 9 weeks and 1 day today and the baby is healthy and growing fast. Last week, Marcos and I heard the heartbeat for the first time and of course I cried!! Today we got our first baby picture!! Awww, my little blob, or bombomcito, like my mom calls the baby...lol!

Although though my "bean" is so tiny, its our little miracle and we are thrilled and excited and hopeful... Thanks to all of you who have left us comments and are sharing in our joy. Stay tuned for more updates and photos to come.Love, Jes & MarcosXOXOXOXO

So on Monday Marcos and I received some very exciting news. When I woke up Monday I decided to take a pregnancy test and to my surprise it was positive!!! My first reaction was to scream and then call Diana!! And then she started screaming on the phone with me! Then I called Maria and she screamed even louder with me! Needless to say, this is very exciting news and Marcos and I are super happy and can't wait to see our little one.Currently, I am six weeks pregnant and feeling very fatigued, sleepy and hungry. The nausea comes and goes and boy does it take some getting used to. But overall, I am elated! We weren't even planning on trying till the beginning of next year, but God works in mysterious ways and this is a blessing that I have not stopped thanking him for. Our family will finally be complete. I am hoping for a girl and Marcos, of course, is hoping for a boy. I'll be happy with a healthy baby. It's still very early in my pregnancy, so keep me in your prayers.
The "TAMPA PARTY GIRL" is retiring for 9 months or so people. LOL!! But I can always go to dinner though! J
