I am a 34 year old woman who already has a 12 year old girl. I didn't think I would ever have another baby much less get married, but this year has been full of suprises for me. I married the greatest guy on Friday June 27, 2008 and we are expecting a baby by the end of January 2009. I feel like I am starting all over again. By the time my daughter graduates high school this little one will be starting elementary. Well I feel blessed and happy and I am looking forward to this new aspect of my life.

Well I finally packed my hospital bag ladies :) I need to get a couple more things (nursing bra), and there will be some last minute trow ins to eth bage (contacts, ipod and docking station, pillows, camera, etc.), but all in all I am packed. As we're in the hospital for two days, I actually brought two outfits for baby (one complete going home outfit and one sleep sac/hat outfit to just hang out in). Is anyone else doing that? Should I bring more in case he spits up etc.? Any guidance here would be great. Also, should I bring pads, or will I be able to totally rely on the hospital? Well Ihave been having contracts teh past two days....more than m,y previous BHs, but not active labor contractions. They have felt like menstral cramps and come and go irregularly. I think things are definitely warming up in there. Hope everyone is well :)

Hey ladies I have a question, my son was prescribed lactoluse for his constipation, but hates it and spits it back up, can you mix it with a couple oz. of formula? i couldn't find anything online about it.

Had my 36 week appointmet (well since I turn 37 tomorrow it's really like the 37 week appointmnet). Cervix is soft but not dilated. l also had an ultrasound. Little man's head is in the 90th percentile (OMG), as is his torso. Legs are in the 80th percentile. All is all his weight is estimated at 7 lbs 5 oz already. Since he will gain approx. 1/2 a lb. a week, I'm definitely going to have an 8 1/2 pound baby. If he's late...well we're looking at 9 lbs!! The ultrasound tech just kept saying "that's a big baby." Pray ladies that I'll be able to push him out the old fashioned way; I DO NOT want a cesearan. I had one ovary removed previously due to a grapefruit sized cyst, so have actually already had a cesearan cut and know what the recovery is like (not fun). So basically I am trying to avoid that. Overall, what ever gives me a safe, healthy baby is ok by me :) Hope you are well.

Thank you everyone for your support and friendship during my pregnancy. I will still be on just not as much. My new little guy is very demanding.....I am so in love. I gave birth to myliltiger on December 29 at 4:37 pm I will have birth story and fotos up tonight.

I had my first contraction today ladies! We were sitting in the movie theater and I realized what was going on. I am in total shock that my little boy could be here in three weeks or sooner! Have my 37 week appointment on Friday, so maybe the doctor can give me the specifics on dilation etc. Hope everyone has a Happy New Year!

Thanks Ladies for commenting me back! at least i know im not the only one with a stubborn baby! Im Due 2morrow and still nothing has changed im not having contractions or anything im just tired! hopefully a miracle will happen and i will go into labor tonight!
