Today we found out that we are having a girl, we are going to call her Poppy Jane. The name means so much to us and words can never explain how much we want her in our lives & love her with all our hearts.

I have a cerclauge in place & i have also been given a date for that to be removed (05.10.08) 36 weeks, after that Poppy Jane can arrive anytime, so i thought i'd find out what Madam Zaritska had to say.......

So first day of week 13, I am so excited to be here even with all we still need to go through. I have an NT scan on monday, am working at an exhibition for my company Tues, Wed, & Thurs then on the following Tuesday I have a cerclage fitted. Hopefully once the ceclage is fitted i can stop being such a worry wart. I still havn't told many people about baby. Want to tell everyone. That will come soon i'm sure.*************

Well to day is my daughters birthday she's 17 & i feel old!!!! Today is also my 1st midwife app. Hopefully she has a boppler i am so eager to hear/know anything about my baby. I had a m/c last may at 16 weeks so am so anxious & pre natal care here leaves a lot to be desired!!!!

I have felt like going in all day today, but afraid of being sent home as well. With my first, I was sent home five times I think! So with Chad, I waited until they were 3 minutes apart and I couldn't breathe before I went in. They still wanted to send me home, but I started to cry and begged! They kept me! HA
Tj keeps asking me, do you want to go now? They aren't strong enough yet. Pretty consistent all day, but now starting to dwindle darn it!
How are you doing today? A torn muscle is no good! Will that make it hurt more during delivery? ouch! What the heck did you do? Be careful sister!

Have you had yr stitch removed? How was it?
I�ve had ups and downs in the last few weeks but we are alright with bump. Some days are v hard on me not able to do anything just lying as a human incubator.... anyway i�m sorted few things out now and except the fact i have to spent the next few months in bed. I guess i�m more relaxed a i reached my first milestone 24 weeks! Just hopping to be able to carry at least 28 weeks! Take care!!!

Just read ur 37 week post..Don't feel bad, most of us are at that point..Some days i go from happy to pissed in no time flat..I've even argued with my poor mom..It's the discomfort, at some point it wears u down coupled with the hormones..The word for me some days is rage..LOL..seriously i get so angry/nasty & i really try & control it..So don't be hard on urself..Hugs & sprinkling some labor dust both our ways

thank god thats all it was,i know things like that can be very scary,better safe then sorry..yeah am pretty excited myself 2 more days..even though i havent gained any weight
this little boy or girl is very active,it moves all over the place seems like all day,and i still have morning sickness,when does this part of it goes away...soon i hope...appetite has picked up slso,so maybe i;ll start gaining some weight...i will let you know how i come out on wednesday as soon as i get back home,,,,,,,,

Hello dear! How are you getting along? I have been anxiously waiting for these BH to turn into real labor.
I have been having real strong ones since thursday, even a bit painful, and back pain as well, SO by saturday night, we were out shopping for Julia, and I was cramping up, and I felt wet down there, I hurried to the bathroom almost panicking, which is funny, because all weekend I have been hoping each day would be the day, when I was faced with the fact that it might be, I got scared. Turned out to be nothing, gross as it may sound, I think it was just sweat. It was just a little damp in that area. Phew...so still 27 days to go!

I wish I would have this baby too. I am at the same point as you. I'm over this pregnancy thing! HA I cried like three times today for the dumbest reason! My daughter's little tiny dog licked my comforter on my bed and I started crying because I thought it was gross! HA I'm a freak.
I hope it is tomorrow or Monday, that would be perfect!

Yes ,I just had to get monitored which i told them would be a waste of time (GYN) office ..I know i will know when i'm in labor..I will probably not have her until the 40 week mark =) and be cramping all the way until then.. I hope u are doing well

I'm trying to relax but somehow I can't sit still. I'm so accustomed to him moving all the time that when I don't feel him I panic. He's quite the kicker and always has me grinning like a crazy woman.

Don't feel guilty about being sad deep down maybe you don't want the pregnancy to end? I know I love being pregnant so I have no idea how I'll feel about it ending. I guess we'll see.

it is odd isn't it with US and UC having such different techniques....it's hard to know what is and isn't right!

I'm panicking a little right now as I'm still having some pink discharge and it's 3 days since my op - they said a 'couple of days' which I took to mean 2! can you remember if you had any light bleeding and how long it lasted?

we are great. Couldn't go back to sleep after getting up at 4.30 this morning. He's moving quite a bit so I guess he doesn't mind. I'm not surprised to hear that you're hormonal, I suspect I'll be like you when it's close to the end. I'm sure I'll be a sobbing mess when I finally meet my son.

hey ladies!

so i had an ultrasound today to check my cervix.
things are going great! my cervix is nice as closed and the baby is weighing 1 lb 7 oz.
n hes a few days ahead of schedule, nothing major but its great to hear that everything is great.

i see the doc on tues and will know more. thats about it for now.
ohh n the other bubble is gone.
so im extremely happy!
cant wait to meet the munchkin....
oh they also tried to do the 3-d but we couldnt see much cuz of his position. ill bother then again in 2 weeks when i go back

I am hanging in there...at 38 wks + 4 days right now. Having some contrax/surges but they don't really get stronger or go anywhere so I guess little guy wants to wait longer before he comes out. I wish he would come next week on the full moon. I would love it.
At my last midwife visit this week, she felt his head was down low and she guessed he is at least 8 pounds and maybe 8.5 now...wow. I have a sinus infection which I got meds for and I hope clears up before baby comes. It is likely due to the Santa Ana winds we have here in southern Cali that kick up allergies and make you feel miserable.

Anything happen yet? That would be so neat if you went early. It is safe now to have her anytime they say...
I have two weeks from today for my Csection unless something happens sooner. Yesterday's doctor appt says nothing is happening even though my contractions are getting stronger. I'm sure they are Braxton Hicks, but they are stronger and I feel closer. Just wish I could go this weekend! :) My mom is in New York and TJ's parents are in Reno for the weekend. It would be nice (I know that sounds rude), because we would get the privacy we really crave when we first have him. I have the biggest support group you can even imagine and it wears on me sometimes!

I'm doing well, thanks!! I'm on materntiy leave now so i finally have some time to relax... had some false contractions last night, thought baby might be coming but i think he is too comfortable. Had my appointment on wednesday and baby is weighing 6.6 lbs. 2 weeks to go...I can't wait!!!!!

ahhhh! I thought my cervix was being stubborn! Its sort of ironic that you had to have yours stitched shut and now it won't budge! Mine isn't budging either. Hope we get some progress soon!
