I'm hanging in there. Some people go into labor when they get thier membranes swept. So be on the look out. it may be today : )
I am one cm dilated. that's it. no news. just a whole lot of fake contractions! lol

Thats so exciting so now its really only a matter of time, 8lb er would scare me mine was only 6.4 and did plenty of damage, hopefully you will go tonight halloween or this weekend, I hated the waiting part once i was dilated and just waiting on my water to brake but as soon as it did my labor was on it borke on its own too, the dr didn't have too I just never started contracting so they stared the poticin which was horible, i was almost fully dilated i was at 6cm and no contractions
we are doing good nick is getting over a cold and going thourgh some weird eating habbits he drop back down to 4oz every 2 hours and hasnt done that since he was like 4 weeks old he will be the big 3 months tomorrow but 13 weeks today hes getting big so fast

hey well , im nearly there , having the odd contractions but m w says im not in actual labor yet . BUT head is engaged and cervix softening . Hopefully soon , still not as big as with my first . Hopefully another tiddler .. could be doing with passing anything past 8 pounds !! ouch

aww you're going to be having the baby soon. I cant wait to see pics lol. So an 8lber huh.. wow. Well we are doing great. The baby is already 5 1/2 weeks.. he's growing so fast. Well glad to hear from you. Be sure to let me know when the little one arrives.

. I got my second steroid shot this morning and I feel exhausted. I have no idea where my energy disappeared to. I'm being induced on January 15th so I'm just resting up and working on hitting my different milestones. So are you ok? suezfit2 - Friday, 31 October

Well, I thought I would be holding my baby girl by now, but my doctor decided it be best to not be too aggressive with induction. So, I went in on Wednesday, they used a cervical ripening pill called Cytotec to get me going, but that only effaced me 30% more than I was...went 30% to 60%.....but still no dilation. I got sent home to come back the next morning. She had been pretty sleepy on the monitors, so they decided to do a biophysical profile before doing another round of induction, and she scored great..8/10. I was having contractions that were less than 5 minutes apart, but still not dilating....so, they couldn't do another round of Cytotec and sent me home to come back on Monday. So, unless I go into labor today or tomorrow on my own, I will be officially overdue. I guess it's best for her health, so it doesn't bother me too much. I just want to meet her.
I hope things go smoothly the next couple days for you. It sounds like it will move right along pretty quickly. My friend had a sweep at 2 cm when she was 38 weeks and gave birth 2 days later. Good luck.....everything will be fine!!

Yeah they broke my waters and then 30 minutes later Caelen was here lol it went so fast but I think it would be better to happen naturally- the pain came so fast- Im good, my little boy has been an angel all day... hoping he stays that way lol. How are you? Hope your little one comes out soon

opps !! So they did an internal exam ,right ?
I had an appointment for 39weeks ..i measured 40..
. She mentioned about induction ,trying spicy foods , to use my fingers to stimulate the cervix (dont want to do that
). Since we are used to spicy foods from our birth..that doesnt have much effect on me (apart from the horrible heartburn) .moreover ,I noticed that by this week i hardly had any BH contractions
.She is not yet engaged to my pelvic .My midwife also said she guess the baby would be around 8lbs
Im anxious,nervous,excited..
How do you feel hunny .

I'm miserable! Everything hurts!! My next (and last) appointment is Monday. Hopefully I'm far enough along at that point to be admitted and get the show on the road!

OH I was reading your page and it said the day you deliver the outside would be foggy well when I went over the river this morning it looked like the whole thing was on fire there was so much fog. So who knows it may be today.

Hey I am doing good. I have an appointment on tuesday. I want to see if they can do an ultrasound so that my husband can see the baby he had to miss out on the first one b/c our baby sitter got sick last min. and no children were aloud in the back.
So it sounds like you will be having a little girl soon. I bet you are excited. I know I would be. After they poped my water I had a baby in like 4 hours. Those contractions came like wild fires man. They were fast. I wish you the best of luck. Keep me posted.

8lb! That’s really great! How amazing you were so worried for months Poppy to stay in and now she doesn’t want to come out?! You must make her very comfortable there...
It sounds like you are very close to labour!Have you got everything ready for her arrival?
I’m fine but sometimes feel guilty as i started to complain about everything, since my last scan i had an extra pillow under my bum on the already raised bed. Tell you i don’t enjoy it at all! Very uncomfortable after a while, have head rush as all the blood goes in my head... back hurts.... hip hurts... BUT i’m 27+2! It is quite hard now to imagine i could go like this for another 13weeks?!

oh wow! 2cms! its so exciting! yeah its a shame she didnt brake your waters but i suppose its better from an infection point of view as i think they like you to have had your baby within 24hours of your water going.
were well, getting more uncomfortable and definately getting ready for the baby to come now, just cant wait to buy some pink or blue outfits and have some time with my hubby and the baby as a family!
