Hey everyone, my name's Jordannah and this is my first pregnancy. I'm soooooo excited about the baby because being a sickly person it's amazing i'm actually able to carry a baby. What makes me even happier is that i'm at 11 WEEKS!!!! *does little dance* I almost lost Cookie (the baby's name from my younger sister) at 6 weeks and from then on i've been extra careful with what i do and i've been keeping my temper under control (i have a short fuse and when i snap things get bad). I'm also happy because the morning sickness my people seems to have stopped. From Monday last week i haven't had any morning sickness though i still get a few false alarms lol. Oh by the way, my fiancee (who's away on audit) is coming back for the weekend on friday (yay) but then he has to leave again (nay) for one last week then he'll be back full time. can't wait for Friday.

By the way my back is killing me, does anyone know of anything i can do that doesn't involve medication?

See how my baby is doing

Thanks for your comments. It is totally usual for you to be more emotional and sensitive which may lead to more arguing if you are inclined this way. I can't say it is normal to fight a lot though. Some couples do more than others and seem to work through things but if this is on going stuff that never gets resolved, you may want to look at talking it over with someone before getting married.

From my experience, when baby engages ( head lowers down) It does not hurt but is a funny sensation. You can get little pinging feelings almost like a mind electric shock. It can make you jump but is not painful. Often with first babies it becomes a little more difficult to walk properly for long periods of time. It's exciting when you get to this stage as you know the end is almost there with a lovely little package to hold before long.
