Hi all, this is my 3rd pregnancy but first baby to make it this far..... i lost my first baby in 2006 at 13 weeks and my second baby in 2007 and 10.5 weeks both due to complications, they both will never be forgotten and will always have a special place in my heart and i know i will get to see them one day...this pregnancy is going perfectly and im getting really excited, cant wait to see this little one.

Thursday, 7 Feb

Im in week 12 and feeling great, havnt had any morning sickness at all wooohoo. Saw baby this morning and was bouncing around all over the show, the lady said things were going perfectly

Thursday, 28 Feb

Well i went for another scan this morning.. it was actually for the cyst on my ovary but of course they showed me bub..... so very cute, was moving around lots and even moving its jaw, looked like it was opening and closing its mouth. All is well here

Monday, 10 Mar

Well i felt baby kick for the first time yesterday... i was relaxed and reading my book and felt a big kick and then baby kept moving for the rest of the day.....it was the most beautiful feeling and i cant wait to feel more big kicks like that

Thursday, 03 April

I had my big ultrasound this morning and found out we are having a healthy baby girl! I could of sworn it was going to be a boy but daddy knew it would be a little girl, shes going to be a real little daddys girl this one. Im so happy shes healthy and i cant wait to go shopping finally!!!

Wednesday, 07th May

Nearly 25 weeks and things are going great....My little girl moves around like crazy and i just love sitting there watching my belly move. I cant believe how fast things have been going, she will be here sooner then i know and i cant wait! Have my next midwife appointment on the 20th then after that i have another appointment 3 weeks later and then go into fortnightly visits ....how exiciting!!

Tuesday, 24th June

Nearly 32 weeks and im really starting to feel it now. Things seemed to start going down hill when i hit 30 weeks. Im still loving being pregnant but just feeling quite tired now, wake up quite often during the night and just finding it hard to do some things. At my midwife appointment last week, jill said that my little girl was still head down but had turned around so she has now got her back facing towards my back so i have to do alot of leaning and bending forward to get her to move back to how she was, her back to my stomach. I cant wait till she arrives, not long to go and daddy is certainly very excited and cant believe im not nervous, im actually looking forward to experiencing labour, as crazy as it may sound. Other then that we are all fine and dandy and are looking forward to the big day

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Its good to know you made it pass 34 weeks, and this baby will be a blessing

I'm doing good just wish that the rest of my weeks can go fast so I can see my little one. 5 weeks and less. Just seems forever now!

You don't have much longer to go!

It's so weird how that works, because I was never too fond of sweets before, now I can't stop. If I didn't see a boy on the ultrasound, all the old wives tales would have pointed to a girl for me

aww. Well that sucks. I do like the name though, it's pretty. :)

I'm just curious, is Ella-Faith, your name, or what you're naming your baby? I really like the name a lot! Me and my hubby are thinking of Miley Faith, but I sure like Ella a lot too! :)

I think that most of my friends who formula fed their babies just mix it up when they need it; from what I have heard that is the safest. I am sure there are guidelines on websites likes Nestle or something on how long ahead of time you can mix it up. I would hate to waste $$ by throwing it out. I would encourage to give breastfeeding a good 4-6 weeks of hard work before giving up, unless there are medical complications. It was not easy for me the first time around, not fun learning how to do it, and painful at times, BUT so much more convenient and cheaper than relying on formula. There might be some public health nurses who could give you some less biased info than me though!

Thanks, the baby has started moving alot more in the past few weeks, but she was making me nervous. I have to remind myself all the time that you can't believe or listen to everything I read becasue we are all so different. My Dr says shes fine as long as what is her normal movement (alot or a little) remain the same. Thanks again its good to know that another professional feels the same way
