Hi, my name is Brittney, and I am a new mom. My daughter was born on Wednesday, March 19, 2008. She was three weeks early, but was 6lbs 8ozs so she got to go home with me on Friday. I married to a gorgeous man whose name is Jonathan. We've been married since June 15th, 2007. I believe in God and I am so glad that he blessed me with my husband and my daughter. I can't wait to see what else He has in store for my life. MY FAMILY
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb... I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139: 13&14

I cannot believe that it has been over a month since I gave birth to my daughter, Rebekah Lynne. I already find myself wondering what I would do without her and what was my life like before her. In the past four weeks my life has turned completely around. I swear I got the best Easter present anyone could ever get! In our first week home, I was a bit miserable. I was sore from my stitches and from breastfeeding. Rebekah slept all the time and only got up to eat during the first week. She is slowly staying up longer, and I love it! Rebekah weighed in at a good 6lbs 8ozs. After coming home from the hospital she only weighed 6lbs 1oz. She had to go to the doctors once a week for three weeks for weight checks until she was over 7lbs. Unfortunately, I had to go back to school because she was born so early and i didn't have enough school work done. I was so upset that first day that I had to leave her that I cried the whole way to school. I don't know if I was more upset about having to leave her, or that she would have to have a bottle because I didn't yet have a breast pump. Since we've been home I've breastfed almost exclusively. I am glad because she gets all that good stuff that only my milk can give her. My sister wasn't able to breast feed for very long and when she wasn't gaining much weight, I thought I would have to switch to formula too, but thankfully I only had to supplement for a couple of days. Now I look down into my arms and realize that I have everything I have ever wanted in life.

lianne - Friday, 14 Mar I know, I don't mind the waiting a few days longer it's just i've only seen my midwife about 3 times now and no doctor, you read all the tests everyone else is having and it seems they just arn't bothered. She wrote on my notes she will see me on my 36th week and will see u weekly from there, then seemed to be working from 35 weeks and now i don't see her till another 3 weeks seems like cutting it all a bit fine...thanks for letting me winge lol
littletonmommy - Thursday, 13 Mar I think I am ready... not too sure though. My sister and I are going this Saturday to get the few things I still don't have. are you ready?
tolbertmj - Wednesday, 12 Mar I had an ultrasound today and they said he is head down and in position. I think my doctor was mistaken as to his position when she told me he was breech. She was going by his heart beat being found up by my belly button, but I've read that the Doppler can pick up the heart beat far from where the actual heart is if there is a lot of fluid. So he is where he needs to be and hopefully he stays there!
ashleyandcaleb - Wednesday, 12 Mar =]your tummy is cute!
hopefull - Saturday, 23 Feb Hi sorry not been on for a while, we are having a little girl and yes she keeps me up most nights with her kicking and wriggling but it feels nice.
